At the
church San Giuseppe all Aurelio, Cornelia, Rome, the church managed by the
Oblates of St.Joseph, who have their Curia General house, next door, it is
possible to kneel and receive the Eucharist on the tongue and dip your fingers
in a font of Holy Water, at Mass in Italian and believe, according to Vatican
Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, that outside the Church
there is no salvation.
This is a
traditional, main line church without the Latin Mass.
The church
is open to inter religious dialogue and ecumenism and traditional mission based
on Vatican Council II (rational) and the Catechism of the Catholic Church (rational).
The Catholic
Church today (2023) has returned to the same understanding of what it is be the
Catholic Church (ecclesiology) as in the past. It is the same as St. Alfonso
Liguori, St. Bonaventure, St. Francis de Sales, St. Augustine, St. Thomas
Aquinas, St. John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Avila, St. Catherine of Siena,
St. John Vianney, St. John Bosco and St. Maximillian Kolbe.
The Catholic
Church is no more liberal since Vatican Council II is no more liberal.
Judaism,
Islamism, Orthodox Christianity and Lutheranism, are not paths to salvation
according to Vatican Council II ( Ad Gentes 7/ Lumen Gentium 14).Their members
need to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation ( Dominus Iesus, CDF,
Notification on Fr. Jacques Dupuis sj, etc). There are good things in other
religions by the religions are not paths to salvation. The Holy Spirit can act
outside the visible boundaries of the Church but salvation is restricted to the
Catholic Church ( CDF, Notification, Dupuis 2001 etc).
On Sunday
morning at the church for Orthodox Christians, behind the church San Giuseppe
al Aurelio, a lady called me and handed me a two euros coin. In response to a
badge I wear saying Outside the Church there is no salvation, citing the Bible,
the Catechism of the Catholic Church and Vatican Council II with a QR Code of
my channel on Twitter, she said, Jesus Christ is the same in the two churches.
But I thought, even the Muslims and Jehovah Witnesses believe in Jesus. For the
former Jesus is not God and for the latter, Jesus is the same as St. Michael
the Archangel, they are the same person.
The Oblates
of St. Joseph, like Pope Francis have had to interpret Vatican Council II with
the Irrational Premise ( invisible cases are visible, invisible cases of LG 14
and 16 in 2023 are not invisible).This is the error in the 1949 Letter of the
Holy Office to the Archbishop of Boston relative to Fr. Leonard Feeney. It
assumed wrongly, that invisible cases of the baptism of desire and being saved in
invincible ignorance, were visible exceptions for the dogma extra ecclesiam
nulla salus. So the traditional strict interpretation of EENS was made
obsolete.
Now the
Oblates of St. Joseph know that in the parish of Sant Giuseppe all Aurelio, the
parishioners are interpreting Vatican Council II, irrationally. It is the same
with the rest of the main line Church, which has Mass in Italian.
So the
Catholic Church now can once again be missionary. It can tell non Catholics,
including Orthodox Christians that outside the Catholic Church there is no
known salvation. All need Catholic faith and the baptism of water for
salvation. This has been the dogmatic teaching for centuries; this is the norm,
for salvation. (AG 7, LG, 14, CCC 845, 846, 1257 etc, John 3:5, Mark 16:16.Matt.7:13).The
parishioners have to be taught how to interpret Vatican Council II rationally
and so honestly.
Pope Francis’
political New Ecumenism is not supported by Vatican Council II and the
Catechism of the Catholic Church. Here is the proof.1.Vatican Council II and
