I am following the pre and post Vatican Council II - Church, which does not change.

 

According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church (1257. The Necessity of Baptism) the Church knows of no means to eternal beatitude other than the baptism of water. So the Catholic Church’s position on Jews, Muslims and people of other faiths is clear. 

The Catechism (845,846) does say outside the Church there is no salvation. So we know that in Heaven there are only Catholics. All need faith and the baptism of water for salvation. All. (Vatican Council II, Ad Gentes 7). 

So when I see or meet a non Catholic, I know that he or she is oriented to the fires of Hell, at that  moment, since this is the teaching of the Catholic Church, in Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

 Other religions are not paths to salvation (CDF, Notification on Fr. Jacques Dupuis sj). I am following the pre and post Vatican Council II- Church, which does not change.- Lionel Andrades
