So when the pope and the parish priest interpret Vatican Council II rationally they are Feeneyite whether they know it or not, whether they like it or not. When anyone interprets Vatican Council II rationally the Council emerges exclusivist it says outside the Church there is no salvation.

Pope Francis like Fr. Paolo Boumis, Parish Priest, Sant Agapito, Rome, has to interpret Vatican Council II rationally i.e. Lumen Gentium 16 refers to an invisible person in 2024, then the orthodox passages in the Council (Ad Gentes 7, Lumen Gentium 14 etc) are in harmony with the past ecclesiocentrism of the Church, while LG 8, 14, 15, 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc are not exceptions for AG 7. LG 8, 14, 15, 16 etc are always hypothetical.

So Pope Francis like Fr. Boumis, is saying all need faith and baptism for salvation (AG 7) and outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation (CCC 845,846, LG 14).

For both of them, the other religions are not paths to salvation (Catechism of Pope Pius X , 24 Q, 27Q, which is not contradicted by Vatican Council II).

All Catholics are expected to interpret Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church rationally and the conclusion is ecclesiocentric, orthodox and traditional. There is continuity with the Apostles, the Church Fathers and the Jesuits of the Middle Ages.

When anyone interprets Vatican Council II rationally the Council emerges exclusivist it says outside the Church there is no salvation.
