When Catholics say - that the popes before Pope Pius XII did not say that the BOD, BOB and I.I 1 refer to personally known people saved outside the Church- they have a Catholic identity.
We Catholics lose our identity when we believe that BOD, BOB and I.I refer to known non Catholics saved outside the Church. It's also false.Since we personally cannot see or meet someone saved outside the Church. Neither could the popes in the past.The Church also does not name someone who has the gift to see people saved in Heaven, without Catholic faith and the baptism of water.
So when we say outside the Catholic Church there is no known salvation we have a Catholic Identity and a rational connection with the past.
Catholics must not reject Vatican Council II by assuming there is known salvation outside the Church for example, in LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc.There are no such cases known on earth for us humans.
The Council Fathers made a mistake by mentioning LG 8 etc since they assumed these were exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).But now that LG 8 etc are there in Vatican Council II,we do not misinterpret them. We do not interpret them as personally known non Catholics saved outside the Church.They are not exceptions to EENS.
We look at Vatican Council II supporting EENS with Ad Gentes 7.While Lumen Gentium 8 etc are not exceptions to the strict interpretation of EENS.
Vatican Council II is in harmony with EENS as it was known to the Magisterium and missionaries in the 16th century. This is our Catholic identity.
We are not going to let Pope Benedict, Pope Francis and the Jewish Left rob us of our Catholic identity.
As Catholics we believe all non Catholics are oriented to Hell unless they accept Jesus in the Catholic Church and live the teachings of the Catholic Church, which is the only true faith.
This month at Medugorje Our Lady called us to love the truth faith and to follow our shepherds There is a link between the true faith and the shepherds.Vatican Council II is compatible with the true faith in spite of its original mistake .This should have been clarified in 1965. The Council does not contradict Feeneyite EENS.They could have said this in 1965 and later.
The Letter of the Holy Office 1949(LOHO) made a mistake but the Council still does not contradict Feeneyite EENS.Since for there to be exceptions to EENS the Council must mention a personally known exception. Someone must exist who is an exception to EENS.
There cannot be such a person on earth known to us humans. Since this person would presently be in Heaven.So the Council cannot mention an exception to EENS, the past exclusivist ecclesiology and an ecumenism of return.Aninvisible person cannot be an exception to Tradition.
There cannot be any exception in Vatican Council II to the Syllabus of Errors and the Athanasius Creed which says outside the Church there is no salvation.
Vatican Council II does not contradict the popes over the centuries, on EENS and BOD, BOB and I.I.Neither does the Council contradict Fr. Leonard Feeney of Boston, on EENS.The Council is saying there is absolutely no salvation outside the Church.It is either the baptism of water in the Catholic Church, defacto, - or damnation.It does not mean that hypothetically BOD, BOB and I.I are rejected.Since even hypothetically they can be followed by the baptism of water.However with or without the baptism of water, hypothetically, BOD, BOB and I.I are not defacto and concrete examples of salvation outside the Church.They can never be practical exceptions to EENS.
I repeat hypothetical cases of BOD, BOB and I.I are not exceptions .They never ever were exceptions in the past and neither are they today.
So when the present two popes interpret BOD, BOB and I.I as being exceptions to EENS it has to be rejected. They have lost their Catholic identity.
