Gloria TV assumes invincible ignorance imentioned in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Catechism of Pope Pius X is an objective exception to the 16th century interpretation of outside the Church there is no salvation

Why is(sic) Fr. Vaughn Treco does not criticize Pius X?

Pius X:

12 Q. Who are infidels?

A. Infidels are those who have not been baptised and do not believe in Jesus Christ, because they either believe in and worship false gods as idolaters do, or though admitting one true God, they do not believe in the Messiah, neither as already come in the Person of Jesus Christ, nor as to come; for instance, Mohammedans and the like.

The Catechism of Cardinal Gasparri (developed on the order of Saint Pius X) teaches:

We and you too, know well that those who bour(sic) under invincible ignorance of our holy religion, keep the precepts of the law of nature graven by God in all men’s hearts, who are prepared to obey God, and who lead an honourable and upright life, are able, by the powerful workings of God’s light and grace, to attain eternal life. For God, who sees distinctly, who searches into and knows the mind, spirit, habits and thoughts of all men, would never of His supreme goodness and mercy permit anyone to be punished eternally unless he had incurred the guilt of voluntary sin (Acta Pii IX, I, iii, 613.)

Lionel: This is a reference to a hypothetical case. It can only be an imaginary and speculative case for us human beings. So the popes knew that invincible ignorance was not an objective exception, or even relevant to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).
The liberal theologians during the pontificate of Pope Pius XII made this error. They mixed up what was hypothetical as being objective. Pope Pius XII kept silent.
His Mystici Corporis can be interpreted with or without this error.

Pius XI:

72. But in this battle joined by the powers of darkness against the very idea of Divinity, it is Our fond hope that, besides the host which glories in the name of Christ, all those - and they comprise the overwhelming majority of mankind, - who still believe in God and pay Him homagemay take a decisive part.

Pius XII:

16. Nor can We pass over in silence the profound impression of heartfelt gratitude made on Us by the good wishes of those who, though not belonging to the visible body of the Catholic Church, have given noble and sincere expression to their appreciation of all that unites them to Us in love for the Person of Christ or in belief in God. We wish to express Our gratitude to them all. We entrust them one and all to the protection and to the guidance of the Lord and We assure them solemnly that one thought only fills Our mind: to imitate the example of the Good Shepherd in order to bring true happiness to all men: "that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly" (Saint John x. 10).

It is worth recalling tha Pius XII excommunicated the Jesuit Father Leonard Feeneyteolog, who claimed that the principle that there is no salvation outside the Church should be understood in a very strict manner, ie all those who do not formally belong to the Church will be condemned (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Feeney).
Lionel : Correct. The Holy Office (CDF) at that time assume unknown cases of the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and being saved in invincible ignorance(I.I) as known exceptions to the traditional interpretation of EENS. We now know that the CDF made an objective error.

The same error was repeated at Vatican Council II. Some of the influential Council Fathers interpret BOD, BOB and I.I as being exceptions to EENS. Until today the CDF assumes unknown cases of LG 8, LG 14, LG 16m, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc are personally known exceptions to Feeneyite EENS, the past exclusivist ecclesiology and an ecumenism of return. The traditionalists associated with Archbishop Lefebvre also use the same faulty reasoning to create a rupture with Tradition and then wrongly blame Vatican Council II. The Council can be interpreted without this error.
