The Council is Feeneyite and traditional. There is exclusive salvation in only the Catholic Church : National Catholic Reporter misrepresents Vatican Council II

Of the points he raised at Napa, addressed early was "confusion" about bringing Jews and Muslims to Christianity. Burke advocates a more aggressive approach to converting those of other religions.
He might reacquaint himself with the Vatican II declaration Nostra Aetate, which speaks with great regard for other world religions, specifically, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and, particularly, Judaism. "The Catholic Church rejects nothing that is true and holy in these religions," the document states. "She regards with sincere reverence those ways of conduct and of life, those precepts and teachings which, though differing in many aspects from the ones she holds and sets forth, nonetheless often reflect a ray of that Truth which enlightens all men."-Editorial: Cardinal Burke is a living symbol of a failed version of church by NCR Staff Oct 4, 2019
Lionel: We do not bring Jews and Muslims to Christianity we bring them to the Catholic Church with faith and baptism ( Ad Gentes 7, Lumen Gentium 14).
Vatican Council II says all need faith and baptism for salvation. The Council is affirming the traditional teaching on no salvation outside the Church.
There may be good and holy things in other religions; the great religions, but they are not paths to salvation according to Vatican Council II(AG 7).
The Council is Feeneyite and traditional. There is exclusive salvation in only the Catholic Church. This is the Conciliar teaching when Vatican Council II is interpreted rationally i.e NA 2, GS 22, LG 8, LG 16, LG 14 etc are not projected as practical exceptions to Ad Gentes 7, the past exclusivist ecclesiology and an ecumenism of return.
