The First Commandment in the Catechism of the Catholic Church does not say that there is true worship in only the Catholic Church.

The First Commandment in the Catechism of the Catholic Church does not say that there is true worship in only the Catholic Church.

Cardinal Ratzinger has often said that Jews do not need to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation contradicting Jesus in the Gospel of John.

If asked he would say that Vatican Council II says outside the Church there is salvation. He means, that for him, the Council says this when it is interpreted with a false premise.
Without the false premise he could not cite Vatican Council II to support his liberalism.

Similarly CCC 846 (Outside the Church No Salvation) does not state  that every one needs to enter the Catholic Church for salvation. Since with the false premise Lumen Gentium 16 ( invincible ignorance) etc are made practical exceptions to EENS etc.

Then CCC 1257 ( The Necessity of Baptism) states the Church knows of no means to eternal beatitude other than the baptism of water but CCC 1257 contradicts itself  and says'God is not limited to the Sacraments'.

This is heresy. CCC 1257 is a rupture with the dogma EENS and the Athanasius Creed.

He interprets the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and invincible ignorance with a false premise. So they are made exceptions to exclusive salvation( Catechism of Pope Pius X ,24Q,27Q).

Pope Benedict and Archbishop Guido Pozzo wanted the Society of St.Pius X to accept all this doctrinal confusion for canonical recognition. -Lionel Andrades
