There is no denial from the Vatican Press Office : Archbishop Guido Pozzo at Ecclesia Dei was interpreting Vatican Council II with a false premise to create a rupture with Tradition and he was telling the SSPX that Vatican Council II could be interpreted with the hermeneutic of continuity with Tradition. Pope Benedict was saying the same and so also Archbishop Augustine di Noia.
