Archbishop Vigano and Bishop Schneider still interpret Vatican Council II and extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) with a false premise. They are part of the doctrinal crisis in the Catholic Church. They do not affirm the Faith and neither do the present two popes. They contradict the Magisterium over the centuries

Fr.Francis A. Sullivan SJ,. a professor of theology at Boston College (University) who expired in 2019, would interpret the baptism of desire(BOD) and invincible ignorance(I.I) as a practical exception to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and would consider this error the teaching of the Magisterium over the centuries.
This was false. This was his personal interpretation or a political view.

The Magisterium over the centuries mentioned the BOD and I.I but obviously BOD and I.I  refer to hypothetical and invisible cases only. This is something obvious.
It was the Americanists  who interpreted BOD and I.I as practical exceptions to EENS, implying that BOD and I.I were not hypothetical and theoretical and invisible always.
The error of these liberals was picked up and followed by the conservatives. They interpreted the baptism of desire ( Catechism of the Council of Trent) and invincible ignorance ( Catechism, of Pope Pius X) as practical exceptions to the dogma EENS. So Tradition would contradict Tradition for them. The Catechisms would contradict Cantate Domino, Council of Florence 1441 on EENS and the Athanasius Creed...-Lionel Andrades
