The speakers at the Catholic Identity Conference(CIC), who are not opposed by the Left, are support schism with the past popes on the Creeds, Catechisms, Syllabus of Errors, past ecclesiology, ecumenism of return, traditional mission etc.Yet they consider themselves traditionalists and conservative Catholics.
For all of them the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood (BOB) and invincible ignorance (I.I) are exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS). So to be exceptions BOD,BOB and I.I refer to known non Catholics saved outside the Church. Otherwise they would be not exceptions.
For the popes over the centuries BOD, BOB and I.I referred to invisible and theoretical cases only. This is common sense. It is something obvious. So BOD, BOB and I.I, for them, did not contradict EENS.
It was not an exception to the old Catechisms when they affirmed the strict interpretation of EENS, example, the Catechism of Pope Pius X.
They were not exceptions to the Syllabus of Errors on ecumenism, the dogma EENS and the traditional ecclesiology.
They were not exceptions to the Athanasius Creed which states outside the Church there is no salvation.
The Nicene Creed for the popes did not mean, ' I believe in three or more known baptisms ( desire, blood and ignorance) and they exclude the baptism of water in the Catholic Church'.
The Nicene Creed for the popes did not mean, ' I believe in three or more known baptisms ( desire, blood and ignorance) and they exclude the baptism of water in the Catholic Church'.
The popes over the centuries did not interpret the Apostles Creed to mean ' I believe in the Holy Spirit , which teaches the Catholic Church today that outside the Church there is salvation'.
Since all the speakers at the CIC interpret hypothetical cases as being non hypothetical,LG 8, LG 14,LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc are projected as objective exceptions to EENS, the past ecclesiology and an ecumenism of return.Hypotheticals are objective!
Vatican Council II contradicts Tradition for them. Their position on the Council is the same as the liberals and Masons.
The liberals and Masons will not interpret Vatican Council II with the irrationality. Otherwise the Council would be in harmony with 16th century extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) and the past ecclesiology . There would be no rupture with the Creeds, Catechisms and the Syllabus of Errors.
If the CIC speakers interpreted Vatican Council II rationally the Left may not allow them to participate at another Conference and label them Anti Semitic etc.
Recently David Domet at Vox Cantoris had to end a discussion on EENS in the comment section of his blog. He had to publicly affirm EENS with exceptions, that is, Cushingite EENS.To retain his comfort zone in liberal and intolerant Canada he had to state, as a traditionalist, that those who died in the New Zealand massacre were saved at the last moment before death. Also his non Christian colleague he was sure, would also go to Heaven without 'faith and baptism'(AG 7, LG 14).
This is a mortal sin of faith. He denies the Creeds and Catechisms and re-interprets Vatican Council II irrationally. He attends Mass in Latin which cannot be the Traditional Latin Mass, since the ecclesiology is new and like that of Mass in the vernacular.Yet he criticizes the Novus Ordo Mass. He is in coherent and heretical and criticizes Pope Francis on doctrine etc.
Domet is in schism with the past popes on EENS, the Creeds, the Catechisms, Syllabus of Errors etc and so would be eligible to speak at the CIC like other politically correct with the Left Catholics. This would include journalists Edward Pentin and Diane Monatagna.
