 Hanno sostenuto nella passato che c'era una salvezza esclusiva nella Chiesa Cattolica. Non c'erano eccezioni a loro note nella vita pratica all'insegnamento scritturale esterno a Gesù e la Chiesa da lui fondata non aveva salvezza.

Quindi la missione nel Medioevo si basava sulla consapevolezza che tutti i non cattolici erano orientati verso l'inferno senza fede e battesimo nella Chiesa cattolica. Ognuno doveva essere un membro della Chiesa per evitare l'inferno.

Oggi il Nuovo Evangelisatioin si basa sulla presunta conoscenza che al di fuori della Chiesa cattolica esiste la salvezza. Ci sono casi noti di non cattolici, non solo possibilità che esistono nella nostra mente, che sono state salvate senza fede e battesimo. Quindi, in generale, non è necessario entrare nella Chiesa cattolica per la salvezza, ma solo quelli che conoscono la Chiesa, che non sono nell'ignoranza e non entrano. Questa è una nuova interpretazione creata con presunti casi noti di non cattolici salvati al di fuori della Chiesa nell'ignoranza invincibile. Quindi questa è una nuova dottrina che si esprime attraverso i diversi metodi e approcci incoraggiati dalla Directory.

The Catechesis of Pope John Paul II ( Catechesi Tradendae) like the Directory of Catechesis (2020) uses the false premise and inference to interpret Vatican Council II.So an aritifical hermeneutic of rupture is created with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the Athanasius Creed. So the Catechesis today,doctrinally, is not the same as the Catechesis of the Jesuits in the Middle Ages. They held that there was exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church.Sp there is no continuity with the catechesis of the past.
 There were no exceptions known to them in practical life to the Scriptural teaching on outside Jesus and the Church he founded there was no salvation. 

So mission in the Middle Ages was based on the knowledge that all non Catholics were oriented to Hell without faith and baptism in the Catholic Church. Every one needed to be a member of the Church to avoid Hell.

Today the New Evangelisatioin is based on the alleged knowledge that outside the Catholic Church there is salvation. There are known cases of non Catholics, not just possibilities which exist in our mind, who have been saved without faith and baptism. So all in general do not need to enter the Catholic Church for salvation but only those who know about the Church, who are not in ignorance, and do not enter. This is a new interpretation created with alleged known cases of non Catholics saved outside the Church in invincible ignorance. So this is a new doctrine which is expressed through the different methods and approaches encouraged by the Directory.
