How can the Holy Spirit make an objective mistake? So the CDF statement cannot be magisterial on this issue. This is not the Magisterium, the Sacred Magisterium.

Doctrinal Beliefs

The members of the Saint Benedict Center believe with Divine and Catholic Faith all those things contained in the Word of God, written or handed on, that is, in the one Deposit of Faith entrusted to the Church, and at the same time proposed as divinely revealed either by the Solemn Magisterium of the Church or by its Ordinary and Universal Magisterium which is manifested by the common adherence of the Christian faithful under the leadership of the Sacred Magisterium, avoiding any doctrines whatsoever contrary to them.
Lionel: The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith(CDF) is asking the St. Benedict Center(SBC) to interpret the Catechism of the Catholic Church 847-848 as being exceptions to Feeneyite  extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS). This is irrational. How can unknown cases of being saved in invincible ignorance be objective examples of salvation outside the Church and so become exceptions to EENS ?
How can the CDF contradict EENS according to the popes over the centuries with this irrational premise ( invisible cases of non Catholic are visible)?
How can the Holy Spirit make an objective mistake? So the CDF statement cannot be magisterial on this issue. This is not the Magisterium, the Sacred Magisterium.

Lionel: The SBC could clarify that the CDF was wrong to assume that CCC 847-848 are exceptions to EENS.
  1. We adhere with submission of will and intellect to the teachings which either the Roman Pontiff or the College of Bishops enunciate when they exercise their authentic Magisterium, even if they do not intend to proclaim these teachings by a definitive act.
Lionel : How can the College of Bishops and the Roman Pontiff use a false premise to interpret CCC 847-848 and this be considered Magisterial and Sacred ?
We affirm that all salvation comes from Christ through the Church, which is the Body of Christ, the Sacrament of Salvation.
Lionel: And this does not exclude the necessity of all needing faith and baptism in the Catholic Church. So CCC 846(all who are saved are saved through Jesus and the Church) would not contradict Ad Gentes 7(all need faith and baptism for salvation) or the strict interpretation of the dogma EENS.
We believe that the supernatural virtue of Faith is necessary for salvation by an absolute necessity of means. This is true even if, in ways known to Himself, God can lead men ignorant of the Gospel without their fault to the Faith, without which it is impossible to please Him. This theological virtue is always concomitantly infused with the grace of justification.
Lionel :  We believe that the supernatural virtue of Faith is necessary for salvation by an absolute necessity of means. This is true even if, in ways known to Himself, God can lead men ignorant of the Gospel without their fault to the Faith, without which it is impossible to please Him.(Theoretically. In reality there is no such known case to contradict the dogmatic teaching on EENS ) This theological virtue is always concomitantly infused with the grace of justification.(And we cannot judge any personal cases saved outside the Church in invincible ignorance in 2020. So invincible ignorance never was an objective exception to EENS).
We affirm that those who, through no fault of their own, do not know Christ and His Church have the possibility of obtaining eternal salvation. This proposition is affirmed in conjunction with all of the other conditions sine qua non for salvation explicitly narrated in the Epistula ad Archiepiscopum Bostoniensem of 8 August 1949 referenced in footnote n. 342 of the CCC, which themselves are referenced as extracted from the Encyclical Letter Mystici Corporis Christi of Pope Ven. Pius XII, namely: 1) perfect Charity (“perfecta caritate”) and 2) Supernatural Faith (“fidem supernaturalem”) Such souls can and must be united to Jesus Christ through his Mystical Body, the Catholic Church.
Lionel: However in the practical  realm we cannot  identify any person as being an exception to the dogma EENS and who will die in invincible ignorance and without faith and baptism and still be saved.
The norm for salvation is faith and baptism and not invincible ignorance.
_______________________

Ignorance of Christ and His Church does not excuse one from all fault. One is obligated to follow the natural law. It should be recalled that invincible ignorance of Christ and His Church does not confer either justification or salvation. Only a merciful God, acting as efficient cause, can confer justification and salvation. As Pope Bl. Pius IX has admonished, it is “unlawful” (nefas) to try to discern the boundaries of invincible ignorance extant among diverse peoples.
Lionel: So there are no personally known cases of non Catholics saved in invincible ignorance in 1949 or 1965 or 2020.Invincible ignorance always refers to a hypothetical case of salvation outside the Church, a possibility which exists only in our mind. So it is not an  objective exception to 16th century EENS.
____________________________

When non-Catholics die, we leave them to God’s mercy. The Father has given all judgment to the Son (cf. John 5:22), and He is the Just Judge.
Lionel: According to the dogma EENS all non Catholics are oriented to Hell.
According to Vatican Council II ( Ad Gentes 7) all non Catholics are oriented to Hell since they die without faith and baptism needed for salvation.
This is also the message in the Catechism of Pope Pius X (24 Q, 27Q).
The Athanasius Creed says all need Catholic faith for salvation.
So when non Catholics die we know they are oriented to Hell.If there are any exceptions we will leave it to God to judge and He is the Just Judge.
