The Council interpreted without the false premise is traditional on extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) and so the liberals can no more  quote the Council for their innovations in theology and doctrines.-Lionel Andrades

My communication with Massimo Faggioli, John Allen, Michael Sean Winters and Joshua McElwee indicate that the whole Catholic Church can break away from the 55 -plus- years interpretation of Vatican Council II. The Council is Feeneyite with Ad Gentes 7. LG 8, LG 16 etc are not practical exceptions

The French bishops have to be shown that Vatican Council II can be interpreted without the false premise. They will all emerge Feeneyites and traditionalists. There is no other rational choice

Today a pope or bishop's conference or group of cardinals can choose to interpret Vatican Council II without the false premise, without confusing what is invisible as being visible and then Catechesis in the parishes will once again teach that there is exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church
