Cardinal Luiz Ladaria sj justifies the institutional change, for having women as altar servers, by citing Vatican Council II. He means Vatican Council II in principle was a rupture with Tradition. This is accepted by the liberals and conservatives.There is no denial from even the traditionalists.
So if the Council can break with Tradition, is the false reasoning of Cardinal Ladaria, then why cannot the Eucharist be given at Holy Mass to the divorced and remarried, or women be altar servers or priests ?
No one corrects him in public.
No one tells him that he interprets Vatican Council II irrationally, with a fake premise and so only then is the Council a rupture with EENS and the Athanasius Creed.
Since he uses the false premise he does not affirm EENS and the Athanasius Creed, as the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Vatican.Similarly these Magisterial documents are not accepted by Pope Benedict, Cardinal Gerhard Muller, Cardinal Malcolm Ranjit etc.
Discerning Catholics can affirm the strict interpretation of EENS and also a Vatican Council II interpreted rationally.
Pope Francis' moto proprio Spiritus Domini cannot be rationalized with Vatican Council II. The Council is traditional and in harmony with the Jesuit missionaries in the 16th century. -Lionel Andrades
