Massimo Faggioli and Michael Sean Winters are no more churning out the same stale stuff on Vatican Council II.Catholics have discovered an intepretation of the Council, which is rational and traditional.It has  the hermeneutic of continuity with the past ecclesiology, the traditional ecumenism of return and Feeneyite extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).This is too much for them.They were not expecting this U-turn on the Council , suddenly after 50 years.

Now when Pope Francis says new things, he cannot honestly cite Vatican Council II. We can accept it as  his personal opinion and innovation since the Council is traditional and in harmony with the past. This is the Tradition  which he rejects, as do the Masons and the rest of the Left.

The Society of St. Pius X(SSPX) and the sedevacantists no more have to reject the Council but simply adapt to the 'new' rational interpretation. Faggioli and Winters' 'old' interpretation of the Council is now obsolete.-Lionel Andrades
