The president of Italy Sergio Matterella and the judiciary here interpret Vatican Council II with a false premise and Archbishop Vigano, Prof. Roberto dei Mattei and John Henry Weston have no comment. This is not a major story ?

John Henry Weston is looking after number one.

He does not discuss how Vatican Council II can be interpreted with or without a false premise and the conclusion would be different.If Lumen Gentium 8 is an exception to extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) then it refers to a visible case. An invisible non Catholic cannot be an example of salvation outside the Church.

If Lumen Gentium 16 is an exception to EENS then it refers to somoene who exists in our reality. He or she would have to be present physically, according to Newton's Laws of physics. Only in this way could they be objective examples of salvation outside the Church. But there are no such cases in 2020.No 'physical bodies'. There were none in 1965.

So if Lumen Gentium 8, Lumen Gentium 16 etc refer to invisible or visible cases decides how we can interpret Vatican Council II. The conclusion is different.At the Placquet Deo Press Conference(March 2016) LG 8 was an exception to EENS for Cardinal Luiz Ladaria sj, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith(CDF). Possibly also for journalist Edward Pentin who was present at the conference.

For Archbishop Lefebvre and Bishop Bernard Fellay Lumen Gentium 16 ( invincible ignorance) was an exception to EENS. So they rejected the Council. They put the blame on the Council and not their false premise and inference.

For Cardinal Ratzinger in two papers of the International Theological Commission, LG 16, GS 22 etc were exceptions to EENS.

So they were all referring to visible cases.

But we know that LG 8, LG 16 cannot be a visible case. They are invisible.They have to be only hypothetical.

So for me there really are no exceptions to EENS mentioned in Vatican Council II.I look at Vatican Council II differently. I read the Council differently. Since my premise and inference is different.

I don't know any one who will be saved outside the Catholic Church where 'the true Church' subsists(LG 8).

I don't know any one who will be saved without 'faith and baptism' ( AG 7) and instead with 'elements of sanctification and truth'(LG 8), in other religions. 

I also do not know any one who will be saved with ' good and holy ' things in other religions (NA 2). Neither does John Henry Weston.

So why does not Life Site News mention this ?

Why not? Probably because they have received a threat.

John Henry Weston began a video series to show how a pope could be in heresy. Then he abruptly quit.

He interprets Vatican Council II like the present two popes and Pope Paul VI. 

All of them could have simply said that LG 8 and LG 16 refer to hypothetical cases. Their interpretation of Vatican Council II would  change overnight.

Archbishop Vigano, Bishop Schneider and Prof. Roberto dei Mattei could have brought out the point that they were using a false premise for the last 55 years and that it was a mistake.

One small announcement was needed. One small report.

O.K so you do not receive the Eucharist on your hand ( neither do I) but you support a false theology.It is a  rupture with the traditional exclusivist theology of the 16th century.It is a break with the time when they offered the Traditional Latin Mass over centuries.

Fine you can face east when you affirm Holy Mass, but with the false premise, the Latin Mass is offered with the new ecclesiology.This was not the ecclesiology of the Jesuits in the Middle Ages. So today the Latin Mass does not have the ecclesiology of 'the Mass of the Ages'.
