I think he needs to interpret Vatican Council II in harmony with exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church. This would be correcting his major shift in theology from traditional ecclesiocentrism to Christocentrism.He  used a false premise to reject ecclesiocentrism. - Lionel Andrades
