Today morning (15.10.2009) a priest concluded his homily by recalling that this is the month of November – we remember the dead. He said it was nice to see in Rome so many people visiting the graveyard on Nov.2.
He observed that many people however do not pray for the souls in Purgatory. So the souls in Purgatory suffer longer there.
On the Day of Judgement, he said, we will be held accountable for not helping the souls in Purgatory.
It was a coincidence that this morning I had been to the small Purgatory Museum in Rome.
