Puljić: “Pope’s decision on Medjugorje will be good and right”

Pilgrims in Medjugorje

The Cardinal Archbishop of Sarajevo who is also one of the members of the Medjugorje inquiry Commission, has criticised the media for “twisting” the Pope’s words, making it seem like he was anticipating his decision on the apparitions

“Interpreting” the Pope’s words on Medjugorje “as conclusive” is “unacceptable”, said the Archbishop of Sarajevo, Cardinal Vinko Puljić - who is also a member of the Ruini Commission that has been in charge of examining the case of the apparitions in the village in Herzegovina – in an interview with Croatian political weekly 7Dnevno. And “this is precisely what certain media hastened to do… I believe Francis’ decision on Medjugorje will be good and right”.

First and foremost, Puljić commented on the significance of Pope Francis’ visit to the Bosnian capital last 6 June. “In Sarajevo, the Pope emphasised above all that the most important thing for the survival of all peoples of Bosnia-Herzegovina is the defence of human rights, tolerance and equal rights. We want to survive and stay in our homes and so it gladdens us to have the support of our Holy Father.”

“The media’s interpretations of the Pope’s statements on Medjugorje shook the spirits of faithful, pilgrims and priests who have links to that place of pilgrimage,” the cardinal added, referring to the Pope’s interview on board the return flight from Sarajevo and the words he used during one of his homilies in St. Martha’s House in the days which followed.

“It is very regrettable that the media gave more – mistaken – attention to certain statements the Pope made on Medjugorje, rather than focusing on some of his more powerful messages about other problems Bosnia-Herzegovina is facing. In fact they twisted used some his statements on Medjugorje, on the Marian apparitions and on other things linked to these. All the Pope had intended to say to certain seers is that they cannot make a media spectacle out of their experiences with Mary, announcing how and at what time she will manifest herself in a given place.”

“It is therefore unacceptable for the Pope’s statement to be interpreted as conclusive.” And “this is precisely what certain media hastened to do, clearly with the intention of ruining the good relations between faithful who embrace the Medjugorje phenomenon and have been going on pilgrimages there for years. I believe Francis’ decision on Medjugorje will be good and right,” the cardinal remarked. “I must earnestly tell you that I am tied to Medjugorje and I was in the Commission that examined the whole case regarding the apparitions. We presented our conclusions and the information we communicated to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, which must now work through this material and present it to the Holy Father. When people ask me what I think about all this, I say: praying is not a sin, confessing is not a sin and that is the most important thing.”

It is a fact of life that we do not know any one saved with BOD or BOD today ( June 30,2015) Do you not agree here? Do not your readers agree here?

From the blog Introibo Ad AltareDei http://introiboadaltaredei2.blogspot.it/
The next point is tricky. BOD and BOB are NOT exceptions to EENS. He is correct, and that is what the Church teaches. However, the whole point of "we do not know any case of BOD.." is confusing. Is he trying to insinuate that you can state a heresy, and if there's no proof of it happening, it's not a heresy?? For example, If I say "Christ COULD commit sin" that's not heresy because we know of no examples of Our Lord committing sin? says IAAD
I don't think you still follow me IAAD.
BOD and BOB are NOT exceptions to EENS.
'He is correct, and that is what the Church teaches' says IAAD.
I do not mean it in the sense of theology.I mean it literally.I mean physically there cannot be any exceptions to EENS.
So I think you agree with me here. Also readers of IAAD's blog would agree with me.
Literally they cannot see any case of the baptism of desire.
With the naked eye you and I cannot see any case of someone in Heaven saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire. They are in Heaven. They are not on earth.
On the streets we cannot meet someone saved without the baptism of water in the Catholic Church.
Your readers cannot shake hands with any such person.
So in this sense, physically, literally, personally- I cannot know of any such case.
This is really common sense. So I think you agree with me here.I also quoted you clerics who have said the same thing. They have confirmed the obvious.
This point is central to what I have written.
However, the whole point of "we do not know any case of BOD.." is confusing. Is he trying to insinuate that you can state a heresy, and if there's no proof of it happening, it's not a heresy?? says IAAD.
I am glad you have asked this.
When I say that physically, literally we do not know any particular case of someone saved today without 'faith and baptism', I mean it only literally. I am not referring to theology.
I am not making any new inference. I am making a statement acceptable to all rational people. We all cannot see people in Heaven, literally. They would only be known to God.
It is important to understand this point. The dead for us who are now in Heaven are not physically known to us, we cannot see or meet them, we cannot talk to them.

Likewise, to state that BOD and BOB are not exceptions-- because we don't know of anyone saved by them is both illogical and heretical. Should God tell us the name of someone in 2015 who died saved by BOD or BOB, we still would not have an "exception" to EENS because he died AS A CATHOLIC just prior to the moment of death! says IAAD
'Likewise, to state that BOD and BOB are not exceptions-- because we don't know of anyone saved by them is both illogical and heretical.'
It is a fact of life that we do not know any one saved with BOD or BOD today ( June 30,2015) Do you not not agree here? Do not your readers agree here?.Do you know any one today who is an exception to the rigorist interpretation of EENS ? No! Of course not! So all of us really would be in agreement here.
Well, would he like to know an "exception"? The Roman Breviary states: "Emerantiana, a Roman virgin, step-sister of the blessed Agnes, while she was still a catechumen says IAAD.
The dogma says all need to formally enter the Church for salvation. We can enter the Church with the baptism of water which is visible and repeatable. We can enter the Church by learning the teachings of the Church which can be checked and confirmed. This is concrete.
If someone does not need faith and baptism today for salvation, who is that person? What is that person's name? Any one concrete?
Where is the St.Emerentiana today ?

As to Ratzinger's Dominus Iesus of 2000, which allegedly "clarified" Lumen Gentium...writes IAAD.
Cardinal Ratzinger clarified the point of subsist it , in a tradition sense.
Cardinal Ratzinger however like Bishop Sanborn has accepted the theology which comes from the pontificate of Pope Pius XII and his Curia in 1949.
So Dominus Iesus does not affirm the rigorist intepretation of the dogma EENS.It does not do so clearly. Instead it infers, like Pope Pius XII, that BOD,BOB and being saved in I.I are explicit for us in real life. They are exceptions to EENS.
So we are back to the initial question. Whom did Cardinal Ratzinger, Bishop Sanborn and Pope Pius XII know, who was saved without faith and baptism ? Who were these cases personally known to them ?
Where was the St. Emerentiana during their life time? Who was the St.Emerentiana whom they knew?

1. BOD and BOB are nothing more than the extraordinary application of the dogma EENS in extraordinary circumstances.
Lionel: This is the new theology. It is based on their being physically known cases of BOD and BOB in our reality. The ordinary means of salvation is 'faith and baptism'. If there was an extraordinary means of salvation it would only be known to God. We could not know of any case in the present times. When there can be no extraordinary cases for us, defacto, how can there be an extraordinary circumstance ?
They are not exceptions to EENS, and it matters not one iota whether we know of anyone today who was saved by such miraculous means.
They are not exceptions to EENS since physically we do not know of any such exception. If there is a box of apples  with an orange within, then the orange is an exception not only because it is different but because it exists there in the box. If it did not exist in that box it would not be an exception.
If there are four tall boys standing at a street corner and a boy short in stature joins them, then he is an exception, since he is different, but also because he there among them at that street corner.
If in a hospital in Rome for example, there are 20 patients with tubercolosis and one is cured and is to be discharged, then this one patient cured is an exception, since his case is different as compared to the others but also because he was there in the hospital with the other patients at a particular time.
When the doctor at the hospital makes his report he will not say that a patient named Emerentiana for example, who was in the hospital 10 years back, is also an exception in the present times.Nor will he say that a person in another hospital is an exception.

2. The Catholic Faith and Sacramental Baptism are the normal way to enter the Church, Outside of Which There is No Salvation
Agreed. This was the position also of Fr.Leonard Feeney. This is also the position of the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary,  the community of Fr. Leonard Feeney in the USA, traditionalists.

3. In extraordinary circumstances BOD and BOB are used by God to save souls apart from baptism by water.
A theoretical, hypothethical statement which we can accept.
Since we know it is not a defacto case in the present times ( this month, year or over one lifetime) it has no bearing on the dogma EENS. This was the mistake made in 1949. A whole theology has been built upon this factual error and it is being used by Bishop Sanborn, Fr.Cekada and the Vatican Curia.First comes the premise i.e the dead-saved are visible to us. Then comes the theology, since they are visible to us without faith and baptism, they are exceptions to the dogma. So the traditional ecclesiology has been changed with the new theology. The theology is based on the irrationality of being able to see in the present moment, people who are in Heaven.

4. BOD is a miracle performed by God on adults who live open to God's grace, follow their consciences, have perfect contrition, and are infused with the True Faith and Sanctifying Grace just prior to death.
And we could agree that they are not objectively known cases in the present times. There is no such case today June 30 to contradict the Feeneyite version of the dogma.

5. BOB is the doctrine that someone who sheds his blood for Christ wanting to be united to the Roman Catholic Church will likewise be saved.
The dogma says all need to be formal members of the Church. Vatican Council II says all need faith and baptism(AG 7,LG 14). So the BOD or BOB case who is in Heaven, would also be there with the baptism of water in the Catholic Church, in a manner known only to God.
St. Thomas Aquinas says God would send preacher to the man in the forest. He would be taught the Faith and baptised.St.Francis Xavier said persons returned from the dead only to be baptised with water, by him.So who can say that St.Emerentiana was also not baptised with water.
However if she was baptised with water or not , she belonged to another century and is not present now to be an exception to EENS.She is irrelevant to the dogma.

6. There are known Catholic saints who were saved by BOB.
Fine.As long as you do not assume that this case is explicit in the present times and so contradicts the Feeneyite version of the dogma. This would be irrational.

7. BOD and BOB are taught by the universal and Ordinary Magisterium of the Church and must be believed. If you reject them, you are a heretic!
They are not infallible teachings, like the dogma.
However I can accept them. Since for me they refer to dejure and not defacto cases in the present times. They are compatible with the strict interpretation of EENS.-Lionel Andrades

Sedevacantists are teaching irrationality

If you assume BOB and BOD are linked to EENS, then LG 16,LG 8, UR 3 etc will contradict EENS. Then V2 is heretical

Fr.Anthony Cekada uses an irrational premise in the interpretation of Vatican Council II just like the liberals http://eucharistandmission.blogspot.it/2015/06/franthony-cekada-uses-irrational.html

For Fr.Cekada Lumen Gentium 16 is an exception to EENS when he does not know any LG 16 case in 2015 in the USA.Yet it is an exception to EENS for him  http://eucharistandmission.blogspot.it/2015/06/for-frcekada-lumen-gentium-16-is.html

We cannot say that any particular person on earth today will be saved without the baptism of water in the Catholic Church but instead with baptism of desire

The Fathers do not say that BOD and BOB are physically known to us in the present times to be exceptions to all needing to formally enter the Church for salvation http://eucharistandmission.blogspot.it/2015/06/the-fathers-do-not-say-that-bod-and-bob.html

Pope Francis like the sedevantists uses Marchetti's irrational premise and inference. He accepts the Council with this error

The EWTN report Tragic Errors of Fr.Leonard Feeney by Fr.William Most is based on irrational Cushingism http://eucharistandmission.blogspot.it/2015/06/the-ewtn-report-tragic-errors-of.html

They would be saved with Catholic Faith when they are saved. Since in Heaven there are only Catholics. This is not contested in the UR 3 text

Marchettiism is a major heresy in the Catholic Church in the present times

For you UR 3 and LG 8 are exceptions to the dogma. Why? Who do you know today who is saved as mentioned in UR 3,LG 8?
Cardinal Napier agrees with me
Cardinal Napier : Vatican Council II and the Jews in America
Cardinal Napier just like me is saying that we cannot meet any exception today to the traditional teaching on salvation
Wikipedia continues with false propaganda on extra ecclesiam nulla salus : promotes Marchetti's factual error

Fr. Pier Paolo Petrucci, SSPX District Superior,Italy keeps silent over this issue for over a year : no clarification

Since February 5, 2014 there is no clarification from Father Pier Paolo Petrucci, the District Superior of the SSPX in Albano, Italy.
I had written and posted the following to Fraternità Sacerdotale San Pio X, Albano last February 2014.
I wrote in a blog post sent to them:
  • In an article on extra ecclesiam nulla salus, Vatican Council II and the loss of the missionary spirit in the Catholic Church (1) , the District Superior Fr.Pierpaolo Petrucci  assumes imperfect communion with the Church (UR 3) and good and holy things in other religions (NA 2) are explicit for us, known in reality, visible in the flesh, defacto and objective. So for him Vatican Council II contradicts the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus with UR 3, NA 2 etc.
  • Then he will not affirm the traditional position on extra ecclesiam nulla salus since he assumes that the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance are explicit for us, known in reality, visible in the flesh, defacto and objective. They would have to be all these qualities for them to be visible exceptions to the need for all to convert into the Church.1

Then another blog post which was e-mailed to them said :-
  • Father Pierpaolo Petrucci, the SSPX District Superior, Italy has made a doctrinal error in an article he has written in Italian. The same error is present in books being distributed by the SSPX, Italy. There is no denial or clarification from the Fraternità Sacerdotale San Pio X (FSSP), Albano. These blog posts have been sent to him.The FSSP Albano usually issues a clarification when they want to support their position or correct a view. 2
Another blog post e-mailed to them said:-
  •  If the SSPX Superior would  consider all salvation mentioned in Vatican Council II as implicit, de jure and known only to God, then Vatican Council II would not contradict the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the traditional  teaching on other religions and Christian communities 3
There was no response to this blog post too.
  • In an article on extra ecclesiam nulla salus, Vatican Council II and the loss of the missionary spirit in the Catholic Church (1) , he assumes imperfect communion with the Church (UR 3) and good and holy things in other religions (NA 2) are explicit for us, known in reality, visible in the flesh, defacto and objective. So for him Vatican Council II contradicts the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus with UR 3, NA 2 etc.

They would have to be all these qualities for them to be visible exceptions to the need for all to convert into the Church since outside the Church there is no salvation.4
At Albano they continued to assume Vatican Council II contradicted the traditional interpretation of the dogma even after I sent them the following blog post.
  • There is no text in Vatican Council II which contradicts Cantate Domino, unless like Fr. Pierpaolo Petrucci, one assumes those saved in invincible ignorance (LG 16) etc are visible to us on earth. This is an irrationality in the interpretation of the Council and the fault is not with the Council.
  • To consider the dead now saved in Heaven to be visible to us on earth is a factual error. It is a fact that we cannot see the dead. It is this factual error which prevents the SSPX Superior from seeing Vatican Council II as a continuation with Tradition on the issue of ecumenism.5
Over a year has gone by and there has been no response in writing to these reports, from even the SSPX priest in Albano, Fr. Mauro Tranquillo, who participates in theological conferences and regularly criticizes Vatican Council II as a break with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.6
The SSPX,Italy  are rejecting Vatican  Council II. This is a doctrinal issue. They are unable to say ,that all these years, they had made a factual mistake and the fault was not with the Council but their use of an irrational premise which comes from Cardinal Marchetti Selvaggiani's Letter of the Holy Office 1949.
They are not admitting that they were wrong and neither are they saying that I am correct. They are just keeping silent over this issue.

If Fr.Leonard Feeney was correct or wrong, still imperfect communion with the Church (UR 3) and the baptism of desire are not explicit for us : no clarification still from SSPX Italy

May God have mercy on our country

Even though I am still in glorious deep rural Kansas I am aware that 9 unelected, unrepresentative, elitist oligarch lawyers in black robes just destroyed this nation as it has been known.
See previous post. It was spot on. We are beyond done. Major D’s are already speaking of eliminating tax exempt status for churches that do not comply.  That will only be the beginning.
May God have mercy on us all, especially “Catholic” Anthony Kennedy AND those prelates and priests who allow him to continue gravely wounding the Church and souls, heap sin upon sin, blasphemy the Our Lord in the Flesh, and basically wage a one man war against all that is good,  decent, and holy.
Pray, fast, and receive the Sacraments as much as you can, while you still can.  The future of this country unfolds before us like an endless night.

America Is Done June 24, 2015

So says Patrick Archbold, and I am danged if I can argue with him on this one.  The people of the United States (probably, who knows what voter fraud went on, especially in 2012) elected twice a man who openly hated this country and its former orientation and vowed to “fundamentally transform” it.  Mission accomplished.  We have seen the federal government grow more monstrous and invidious in almost every imaginable respect over the past 6+ years, and there is still a year and a half to grow.  Religion, especially Christianity, is in retreat under the combined assault of federal leviathan power and a hostile, hate-filled culture like never before.
I don’t know for certain what the future holds, but I don’t think it’s going to be pleasant:
……….[T]he decision on the manufacturing of a constitutional right to gay marriage looms large. More on that in a moment. But the passage in the Senate of TPA is just another indicator that signals the end of limited constitutional government and the separation of powers.
I won’t bore with the details of this decision, but what I want to impress upon you is that elections, the throwing out one party for another, made absolutely no difference. The federal behemoth grows unabated and our sovereignty is bartered for political support from the Chamber of Commerce. What is wrong with America is beyond the normal powers of elections and the electorate to fix.  [It’s not just TPA.  It’s Obamacare (which Repubniks plan to save if the Supreme Court throws out the exchanges), it’s illegal immigration, it’s Export-Import, it’s the growth of the federal budget, the Republicans haven’t followed through on a single campaign promise of any substance (20 week abortion ban still pending).  This is what we’ve seen from the Republican party going back since the late 90s, they are as on board with big government and radical social change as the democrats, they just lie to their base about it]
America, as we knew it and thought we understood it, is done. I know people don’t want to hear that and I understand. I know they don’t want to believe that and I understand. But it is true none the less. [I thank God I have a farm in Kansas.  How to get there, and how to live there, is another matter]
If you haven’t accepted that truth yet, perhaps the decision on gay marriage will clue you in. When they invent a constitutional right to gay marriage, your first amendment rights for the free exercise of religion and speech, will be under constant assault from the very government that should be protecting our first freedoms. We may win some of the battles, but I assure you the war is lost. You will not be able to practice your religion or speak the truth without oppression from the government over employment, student loans, business permits, and the list goes on and on. People will go to jail for believing and speaking the truth. [And parishes that refuse to get on board with the new order may well be closed.  And it may not be the government doing the closing]
But the truth is America has been done for a while. There is a financial reckoning coming like nothing you can imagine and likely much sooner than you can imagine. And when it comes, the government will come after everything you have.
Sorry to leave you on such a downer note.  But look on it this way, standing against persecution should gain  you a lot of time off in Purgatory!

Why does the SSPX like me not accept Vatican Council II in agreement with the rigorist interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus ?

Why does the SSPX like me not accept Vatican Council II in agreement with the rigorist intèrpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus ?
-Lionel Andrades

Baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance are not exceptions to the dogma as Fr.Aldo Rossi says, so we can extend this thinking to Vatican Council II

The SSPX must keep rejecting Vatican Council II according to Cushingism

SSPX must continue to reject Vatican Council II and other magisterial documents interpreted with the false premise and conclusion : ChurchMilitant TV comment incomplete

Baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance are not exceptions to the dogma as Fr.Aldo Rossi says, so we can extend this thinking to Vatican Council II

The SSPX Prior in Albano,Italy has said that we physically cannot see the dead on earth. This is something obvious. We cannot see people on earth who have been saved with the baptism of desire or in invincible ignorance. We cannot meet them or see them.

I have not met Fr.Aldo Rossi for a long time. There is no communication between them and me.

The Superior General of the SSPX in Italy Fr.Pier Paolo Petrucci does not answer e-mails or questions and other priests and religious with the SSPX do not wish to talk about this subject.

They still continue to refer to Vatican Council II as a break with Traditiona and the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS). This seems their political position.

Since if baptism of desire (BOD) and being saved in invincible ignorance (I.I ) are not exceptions to the dogma as Fr.Rossi says, then we can extend this thinking to Vatican Council II. There would not nothing in the Council to contradict the dogma, since we cannot see the dead saved in invincible ignorance (LG 16)etc.

The SSPX Superior would then have to admit that he made an innocent error at a talk he gave at Rimini, when he suggested that Vatican Council II contradicts the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

There is confusion on this subject among the SSPX districts. It is confusion on doctrine. Since for the SSPX USA, BOD and I.I are exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus. This is their position in a book sold by Fr.Francois Laisney.

Fr.Laisney was not aware that the Holy Office 1949 made the same irrational mistake, they contradicted what Fr.Aldo Rossi, described as "obvious". The Letter 1949 assumes BOD and I.I refer to visible cases on earth. The dead are visible. So it is inferred that these 'deceased' are visible and known on earth to be exceptions to the traditional interpretation of the dogma. This is the new theology. It is based on an irrationality. It is really fantasy theology.

At sometime in the future, truth and rationality must prevail and the SSPX would have to announce that Vatican Council II does not contradict the dogma EENS or the Syllabus of Errors and we cannot see the dead-saved  on earth.
-Lionel Andrades

Progressivists interpret Vatican Council II with the false premise of 'implicit desire being visible' or 'the dead are visible' and then assume that they accept Vatican Council II

Another SSPX priest in Rome says implicit salvation is not visible to us and is known only to God.

Implicit intention, invincible ignorance and a good conscience (LG 16) in Vatican Council II do not contradict extra ecclesiam nulla salus –John Martigioni

Medjugorje: No decision yet : 34th anniversary celebrated

La Repubblica criticizes Medugorje

The visionary Ivanka Ivankovic-Elez had her regular annual apparition on June 25th 2015.
At her last daily apparition on May 7, 1985, Our Lady confided to Ivanka the 10th secret and told her that she would have an apparition once a year on the anniversary of the apparitions. It was that way also this year.
The apparition, which lasted 4 minutes, took place at Ivanka’s family home. Only Ivanka’s family was present at the apparition. After the apparition, Ivanka said: "Our Lady gave us her motherly blessing and said: Peace, peace, peace."

Numerous pilgrims in Medjugorje for the 34th Anniversary

date: 25.06.2015.
34th Anniversary of Gospa’s apparitions was solemnly celebrated in Medjugorje on Thursday, June 25, 2015, and many pilgrims from all continents arrived to be here. Many of them arrived walking so they would fulfil their promises and vows given to the Queen of Peace, as well as to thank for all of the graces they had received. We met Anica Cuic, from Tomislavgrad, who walked from Tomislavgrad for 28 hours to Medjugorje. „It was heavy rain and we were all wet, but everything went really well. I had some needs and I decided to come to Medjugorje. This is where we have special feeling of peace“ - said Anica.  Mate Pocrnjić came from Split, but he walked to Medjugorje from Posušje: „This is my second time to come from Split to Posušje and then to Medjugorje. We also have Our Lady of Sinj and every pilgrimage leaves a beautiful trace within me. Medjugorje is really beautiful today, especially when so many young people are here who all came to give to Gospa her worries, problems and prayers.“ http://www.medjugorje.hr/en/news/numerous-pilgrims-in-medjugorje-for-the-34th-anniversary,6949.html

Walked from Bugojno to Medjugorje for the Anniversary of apparitions

Stipo Lubar, 59 years old man born in Bugojno in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but lives in Austria at the moment, walked with his wife and son from Bugojno for the Anniversary of Gospa’s apparitions. Their pilgrimage lasted for more than three days and they arrived on the Eve of Anniversary, on June 24, 2015. Stipo said that he has been coming to Medjugorje since 1982, nine times before the war and ten times after the war: “This is not the first time for me to come to Medjugorje like this and it was not hard at all. I am happy I can do this and next year it will be my twentieth time. We organise this pilgrimage every year.”

24th Peace Walk held

date: 24.06.2015.
The 24th Peace Walk was held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 on the Feast of St. John the Baptist and on the eve of the 34thAnniversary of Gospa’s apparitions. Many pilgrims participated in this Walk that started at 6.20 a.m. in front of the monastery of St. Anthony in Humac and finished outside the church of St. James in Medjugorje. Fr. Velimir Mandić, guardian of Humac monastery, greeted pilgrims and blessed them before their walk and the walk finished at 10 a.m. with the Benediction conducted by Fr. Ivan Landeka Jr. Olha Slavska from Ukraine participated in this walk and said this is her 15th visit to Medjugorje: „I came here for the first time in 2006, and I recall it was a very difficult personal period for me. My family was about to break up and I did not know how to move on. My friend invited me to come for the seminar of Fr. Jozo Zovko. It was after that experience that my life completely changed. Gospa’s messages from Medjugorje became everyday practice; I began to pray the Rosary, to read the Holy Bible, to go to Holy Mass and to confess every month. I started to feel that Gospa was inviting me to come to Medjugorje every year. We came this year as we wanted to be the part of this Peace Walk. The situation in my country is not easy; there is a war in East Ukraine. We came here to pray with pilgrims from all over the world for peace in our hearts and then in the whole world.” Hubert Liebherr, a pilgrim from Germany, initiated this Peace Walk in 1992. He was horrified with all of the bad things that were happening here in the beginning of the war and together with his friends he initiated this event, believing in the words  of Gospa that with the prayer of Rosary even the wars could be stopped.
