Do Vatican II’s teachings on ecumenism and religous liberty really conflict with Traditional Catholic teaching?
In his first Envoy article on traditionalist apologetics [see “All Tradition Leads to Rome,” Volume 4.6], canon lawyer Pete Vere identified seven common arguments offered by the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) in defense of their schism, and how he overcame these objections during his journey back to the Catholic Church. Some readers responded that this schism, initiated by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in 1988, isn’t merely about the Latin Mass. The SSPX also takes issue with the Second Vatican Council, particularly on the issue of ecumenism. These readers knew Pete would have wrestled with the Second Vatican Council as an SSPX adherent and wondered how he overcame his doubts towards the Council in his spiritual pilgrimage back to the Catholic Church. Here is his response.
ECUMENISM
Did the Second Vatican Council contradict Church Tradition in its teachings on ecumenism? Many traditionalist Catholics — among them, many members of the Society of St. Pius X — would say yes. If they are correct, then the Catholic Church has a serious problem: Vatican II could not be legitimate, since a legitimate ecumenical council may develop but may not contradict the earlier dogmatic teaching of the Church.
Lionel: When Vatican Council II is interpreted with the rational premise , inference and conclusion there is no change in the Church's teachings on ecumenism. Without the false premise Vatican Council II does not contradict the strict interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS). So the Church is still ecclesiocentric.

VATICAN II AND RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
We can now turn our attention briefly to the matter of Vatican II and religious liberty...
Lionel: When we avoid the false premise, inference and conclusion the Catholic Church is once again traditional. It has the same ecclesiology as the 16th century.It does not contradict the past Magisterium on EENS, the Athanasius Creed and the Syllabus of Errors. So in a Catholic Confessional State, which has the same ecclesiocentric ecclesiology of the papal states, religious freedom would no more be a new issue.
Fake premise
Lumen Gentium 8,Lumen Gentium 14, Lumen Gentium 16 etc in Vatican Council II refer to physically visible cases in 1965-2021.

LG 8, LG 14, LG 16 etc in Vatican Council II refer to physically invisible cases in 1965-2021.They are only hypothetical and theoretical. They exist only in our mind and are not solid bodies at Newton's level of time, space and matter.
Rational Inference
They are not objective examples of salvation outside the Church for us human beings.
Rational Conclusion
Vatican Council II does not contradict EENS as it was interpreted by the Jesuits in the Middle Ages.It does not contradict the strict interpretation of EENS of St. Thomas Aquinas( saved in invincible ignorance is invisible), St. Augustine and Fr. Leonard Feeney of Boston.
The Letter of the Holy Office(Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith) 1949 made an objective mistake.
COLLEGIALITY
The Church returns to the 16th century Magisterium with the rational premise. Vatican Council II has a hermeneutic of continuity with Tradition ( EENS etc).So collegiality will also have to be traditional. There would be unity on doctrine since Vatican Council II would no more be a source of division in the Church.
NON CHRISTIAN RELIGIONS
Similarly the traditional teachings on non Christian religions and salvation would once again be traditional at the doctrinal level since Vatican Council II would be re-interpreted rationally.-Lionel Andrades

The teaching of the Catholic Church on religious freedom, ecumenism, the Church, and collegiality does not change with Vatican Council II interpreted with the rational premise, interpretation and conclusion. Since the Council then affirms the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and traditional ecclesiocentrism upon which was based religious freedom, ecumenism, the Church and collegiality.
When we return to Tradition collegiality is not an issue.
When we return to Tradition we are back to the old ecumenism.
We return to the old ecclesiology of the Catholic Church since the false premise is no more used.
We can proclaim the Social Reign of Christ the King and the non separation of Church and State since the priority is saving souls from going to Hell, since outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation.-Lionel Andrades
