The New Hampshire Union Leader could clarify that the CDF uses a False Premise to interpret Vatican Council II and EENS and there is no denial from the CDF.Why should the SBC use a False Premise too ? It is unethical.

 

Damien Fisher writing for the New Hampshire Union Leader calls the St. Benedict Center, New Hampshire, USA ‘ a sect’ and does not deny that he interprets Vatican Council II irrationally and so is in schism with the pre-1940 Magisterium  like the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF), Vatican.The St. Benedict Center instead affirms Vatican Council II ( Rational).

The New Hampshire Union Leader has not reported that the St. Benedict Center, NH accepts Vatican Council II interpreted rationally without the common False Premise.The CDF does not do this and neither does the diocese of Manchester, where the bishop is Peter Libasci.There is no comment from the Curia there since they are all choosing the False Premise for political reasons..

The SBC accepts EENS according to Vatican Council II interpreted with a Rational Premise. So Damien Fisher and Fr. Georges de Laire, Judicial Vicar of the diocese, cannot call them ‘ a radical sect’.This needs to be clarified by Damien Fisher.

He needs to mention that Fr. Georges de Laire admits he used a False Premise to interpret Vatican Council II otherwise he would have to affirm EENS like the SBC  against whom he has issued a harsh Decree of Prohibitions.

Simcha and Damien Fisher have written that the SBC do not accept Church teachings.This is not true.The SBC accepts Vatican Council II rationally. The Council interpreted rationally supports 16th century EENS.The Magisterium in the 16th century did not project unknown cases of the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and invincible ignorance(I.I) as being practical exceptions for the traditional strict interpertation of EENS.

The SBC accepts BOD, BOB and I.I which can only be hypothetical and speculative. It is the CDF which projects BOD, BOB and I.I as physically visible cases in the present times, known non Catholics now in Heaven saved without faith and baptism. This is irrational.There are no such people.However this irrationality is needed by them to avoid Feeneyite EENS.

The CDF and Fr. Laire use a False Premise to interpret Vatican Council II. There is no denial from them.So is their Decree of Prohibitions coercion? They are trying to force the SBC to use the False Premise too ?

What if the SBC took all of them to court  to clear their name and stop this false campaign against them ? The diocese, the media and the CDF must be asked for a  correction. Since the SBC is faithful to Church teachings. They are interpreting Magisterial Documents with a Rational Premise and the CDF is choosing the Irrational Premise.

The SBC accepts the First Part of the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 which supports Feeneyite EENS and rejects the second part.It uses a False Premise to contradict the First Part.

The Curia in the diocese of Manchester are choosing a False Premise to change Church teachings, like the present two popes and the cardinals and bishops, and are maligning the SBC for not being dishonest too.So the catechesis and prepartion for First Holy Communion is Christocentric but not ecclesiocentric in New Hampshire diocese.

We can now interpret Vatican Council II with the Rational Premise  and we are back to the pre-1949  Catholic Church in faith and morals,mission and ecumenism and the old Catechisms.The Council no more contradicts Tradition.

Catholic lay man in Rome. Writer on the discovery of the two interpretations of Vatican Council II, one is rational and the other is irrational, one is interpreted with the false premise and the other without it. One is Magisterial and the other, the common one, is non Magisterial.How can the Holy Spirit make an objective mistake ? So it is human error and not the Magisterium.

 Vatican Council II is dogmatic and not only pastoral.

It is the same for the Creeds and Catechisms. There can be two interpretations.Catholics must choose the rational option.

Why should Catholics choose an irrational version which is heretical, nontraditional and schismatic, when a rational option is there which is traditional?

It is unethical to interpret Vatican Council II with the False and not Rational Premise.

Pope Francis and the Death of the "Spirit" of Vatican II

 No other Ecumenical Council in the history of the Church has been declared to have a “Spirit” of its own.  There is no “Spirit” of Nicaea, nor of Lateran II nor of Vatican I.  The “Spirit” of Vatican II was invented and validated by theologians, liturgists and clergy who believed, or at least proclaimed, that the actual text of the Documents of the Second Vatican Council was merely a jumping off place to begin a radical re-understanding of the Catholic faith and practice to fit the needs of “modern man”. 

Lionel : Cardinal Ratzinger was correct. The Council with the False Premise from the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 was a break with Tradition(International Theological Commission, Christianity and the World Religions). 

It rejected Feeneyite extra ecclesiam nulla salus. 

It had practical exceptions for the Athanasius Creed. 

When the Syllabus of Errors could become obsolete then why could not moral teachings? This was Pope Francis' message in Amoris Laetitia.

The two popes are not interpreting Vatican Council II with the Rational Premise but like all the traditionalists. The False Premise creates the new 'spirit of Vatican Council II'.

The iconoclasm that marked the decade after Vatican II, when so many churches were ransacked—altars ripped apart and replaced by tables, statues either removed or destroyed, tabernacles moved to places in the church where they could not be seen, the disappearance of chant and polyphony and their replacement by sentimental songs that were imitations of the worst popular music of the 1970s, the surprising appearance of altar girls and eucharistic ministers—none of these can be directly inferred from Sacrosanctum Concilium, the Constitution on the Liturgy of the Second Vatican Council. 

Lionel: No. They are the 'reforms of Vatican Council II' with the Council interpreted with the Fake Premise by the liberals and traditionalists.

 The fact of the matter is that the liturgical revolution after the Council was the product of those who invented the “Spirit” of Vatican II in order to impose their understanding of “aggiornamento” on the Church, bringing the Church up to date.  The problem with aggiornamento is that its application is always too late.  The giorno of the 1960’s was already past by the time of the “fruits of the ‘Spirit’” of Vatican II were implemented. 

The sanctity of St. Pope Paul VI was forged not in his embrace of the “Spirit” of Vatican II and his imposition of the Novus Ordo form of the Mass on the Church, which form has little to do with Sacrosanctum Concilium but much more with those liturgical “experts” who despised the Traditional Roman Mass.  Paul VI’s sanctity was forged after he discovered the “smoke of Satan” within the post-Conciliar Church, and he accepted the suffering that that discovery entailed. God indeed works in mysterious ways his wonders to perform.

Lionel: Pope Paul VI could have interpreted the Council with the Rational Premise and there would be no practical exceptions in the Council-text for the dogma EENS.The Lefebvrists were also interpreting the Council with the False Premise. Cardinal Ratzinger did not tell Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre that he could interpert the Council with the Rational Premise and it will be a return to Tradition.

The papacy of Pope Francis has been marked by a radical enforcement of the “Spirit” of Vatican II, quite unlike his two predecessors.  He has especially tried to enforce this "Spirit" in the Church in the United States.  Pope Francis’ dislike of the United States is quite obvious.  That dislike is not merely because he sees Americans as grossly materialistic and callous in their understanding of their real obligations to the poor (which is not entirely false); but also because the United States clearly, for the most part, does not seem to be very much caught up in the “Spirit” of Vatican II. They seem to have accepted what was significant in that Council and moved on.  There are exceptions to this of course, and these are rewarded with red hats.   But even worse, in Pope Francis’ eyes, is that the young American seminarians and recently ordained priests are for the most part Traditional, some going so far as to come to love the Traditional Roman Mass.  For the Pope, this is a most unwelcome development, for this does not conform to the “Spirit” of Vatican II. 

Lionel: But even Peter Kwasniewski and Rorate Caeli (F.G) are interpreting Vatican Council II with the False Premise. They simply have to choose the Rational Premise and the Council II returns to Tradition. But they do not want to affirm Feeneyite EENS.

The clumsy and incoherent Motu Proprio, Traditionis Custodes, and the recent Apostolic Letter, Desiderio Desideravi, the latter of which shows that Pope Francis is at least aware of widespread liturgical abuses in the Church today: both are examples of his irrational enmity towards the Church’s liturgical Tradition. Both documents are examples of how the “Spirit” of Vatican II enables one to say things that confound reality and truth.  For that “Spirit” always points to a future that already is the past, forever locked in the 1960s and 1970s, mired in flower power and facile optimism and a view of the “world” that is a contrast to the “world” in the Gospel of St. John.  

Lionel: Vatican Council II in Traditionis Custode can be interpreted with the Rational Premise .The Council will then only be in harmony with the Roman Missal ( 1870). The New Missal is based upon Vatican Councl II interpreted with the irrationality.

There is a photograph that captures the essence of the “Spirit” of Vatican II.  It is best viewed when accompanied by a voice-over of the missionary priest of the Amazon region boasting that he never baptized a single indigenous person of that area.  The photo is that of a group of important clerics including Pope Francis seated in the Vatican Gardens watching an indigenous Pachamama ceremony.  That one or two of the prelates look as if they are uncomfortable at this event shows the non-infallibility of the “Spirit” of Vatican II. The “Spirit” of Vatican II has blinded many, but there are some who still have enough sight left to be at least momentarily disquieted by being present at this ceremony.

Lionel: This is the fruit of Vatican Council II interpreted with  a False Premise which says outside the Church there is no salvation and so all do not need to enter the Church to go to Heaven and avoid Hell. There are known exceptions for the past ecumenism too, mentioned in Vatican Council II, for them.This is how Peter Kwasniewksi and Taylor Marshall also interpret Vatican Council II. There no more is the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus in the Church since there are 'practical exceptions' mentioned in the Council-text, LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc- for them and not me.

Some of these with some sight left are of the generation that breathed the “Spirit” of Vatican II in their seminary training right after the Council and who know existentially little of what came before Vatican II, both the good and the bad. They are for the most part in charge of the Church today.

Lionel: It makes no difference since even those who were born before Vatican Council II are interpreting the Council II with the common False Premise and not the rational option, which would take the Church immediately back to Tradition.They do not know about the Rational Premise. The popes and cardinals and the traditionalists are not going to tell them.Otherwise they would be politically incorrect with the Left.

 It is true that they still breathe the “Spirit” of Vatican II, but not in its original purity, but as like “second hand smoke”.  Many are fine men who love Christ and the Church.  But they now are finding themselves confronting a movement within the Church that perplexes and confounds them  And they are finding out that they are no match for the young people, clergy and lay, who have discovered Catholic Tradition, discovered it as something new and wonderful that is the source of great happiness and delight, and they have often discovered this within the context of the Traditional Roman Mass.  These young people have not found a “spirit” of their own age. They have found the Pearl of Great Price, whose Beauty shines forth in radiant splendor.  And that Pearl-- no one can or will take it away from them.-   Father Richard Gennaro Cipolla

Lionel : Even those who go for the Latin Mass in Rome are affirming the new ecclesiology based upon the False Premise. The priests of the FSSP for example in Rome are not affirming the Faith and are politically correct with Vatican Council II interpreted with the False Premise.They are forced to choose the irrational interpretation.Otherwise they wil not be allowed to offer Holy Mass. It is the same with the priests here who offer Holy Mass in Italian.
