Corpus Domini procession held in Rome: pause in rainy day

The Corpus Domini procession was held yesterday with Pope Francis walking with the others behind the Eucharist. He did not kneel before the Eucharist as did Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI.

It rained in the morning but during  the procession there was no rain and so the prayers of many people were answered. In the past the procession was cancelled due to rain and the Mass was held within the Basilica of St.John Lateran.

This year there were more participants at the procession as compared to previous years, in spite of the bad weather, strong cold winds continued throughout the day with light rain.

I noticed most of the Sisters participating in the procession were not carrying umbrellas. Perhaps this was true also for the priests, I did not notice.

If it rained those good nuns and many lay people would be prepared for a mortification.Or they were just optimistic that this year there would be no rain during the procession.

The above photo is from the diocesan newspaper Avvenire, Rome on line. There is such a poor coverage. There should have been large photos and many reports. Instead there are the usual worldly headlines which can also be read in the secular newspapers.

The Vatican is presenting a corrupt moral theology based on the Charles Curran and Richard Cushing errors.

The Vatican officials assume that we humans can judge or not judge sin, so there is no objective sin and sinners are saved in general. These errors have been made public by the Vatican Press Office and officials of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.Instead of clearly saying there is objective sin it is being suggested
1) we cannot judge mortal sin.
2) the moral exception, even when unknown, is a bonafide reason to assume it is the norm. The exception unknown to us) makes the rule.
Fr.Thomas Rosica , a Staff member of the Holy See's Press Office will not say that all atheists need faith and baptism for salvation (Catechism of the Catholic Church 846, AG 7,Vatican Council II, Cantate Domino, Council of Florence 1441).Instead he says on the Internet that an atheist can be saved, implying, Fr.Rosica and the Staff at the Press Office, knows an atheist who in the present times is an exception.

As a possibility known only to God an atheist may be saved, principle we accept this. In fact (defacto) we do not know any such case.Dejure(in principle),yes. Defacto, no.Expliclty we cannot know any such case.Implicitly this is possible for God.If practically we do not know any case, why does he have to mention it in theory ? Is it relevant. Or is he just confused and is confusing everyone else.

Fr.Rosica will also not affirm extra ecclesiam nulla salus or Ad Gentes  7 since according to him only those who are aware of the Church need to enter. In other words those who are aware or those in invincible ignorance are known to him (defacto). He can judge these cases in 2013(defacto).So these cases are exceptions to the traditional teaching on salvation  as there are also known exceptions for him, to the traditional teaching on morals.
Similarly Archbishop Gerhard Muller, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith has repeated this same error of Fr.Rosica, to Edward Pentin, of the National Catholic Register when Pentin asked him about extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger had stopped Fr.Charles E.Curran from teaching theology at Catholic universities;  for teaching this very error.
These days for political reasons the Eucharist is being given to Catholics in public mortal sin and it is being said we cannot judge. Also priests, bishops and cardinals in public mortal are being allowed to offer Holy Mass. The rank and file are being told that we cannot say anyone is in mortal sin. This, is the moral theology of Fr.Bernard Haring and Fr.Charles Curran, corrected during the pontificate of Pope John Paul II.
The Haring-Curran moral theology says we cannot judge if anyone is in mortal sin- but allows them  to judge that someone who is in mortal sin is not in mortal sin.
The Vatican is now officially selling this same corruption through its Press Office while all these years it has been allowed at Eucharistic Conferences, Mass for homosexuals, the Eucharist being given to persons dressed immodestly before the eyes of the priest and for politicians who support abortion in public as in the USA and Ireland.

The Holy See's Press Office is promoting Fr.Charles Curran's moral theology. It is also making the same error as Cardinal Richard Cushing on the issue of salvation.

The Holy See's Press Office is promoting Fr.Charles Curran's moral theology (1). It is also making the same error as Cardinal Richard Cushing on the issue of salvation.
Fr.Thomas Rosica says only those who know and do not enter the Church are oriented to Hell. This is true in the context of only God knowing who knows and who is in invincible ignorance. However in general all in the present times need to enter the Church for salvation. Vatican Council II mentions 'all'. This would mean all atheists.
Atheism, traditionally has always been considered a mortal sin which leads to Hell.If the atheist denies the existence of God and lives as such, he is on the way to Hell. The atheist also does not have Catholic Faith and the baptism of water, which is needed for salvation (AG 7, CCC 846).
So atheists in general are on the way to Hell unless they visibly convert into the Catholic Church with 'faith and baptism'.This is in keeping with Pope John Paul II's Veritatis Splendor, the encyclical on moral theology, which says the outward action indicates the inner intention. So we can judge the motive of a person. There is objective sin.A mortal sin is a mortal sin.

An atheist needs to be a visible member of the Church for salvation. If an atheist is saved without being a visible member of the Church, we would not know. Fr.Rosica would not know. So it is not an exception to the rule: all atheists in 2013 need faith and baptism for salvation(to go to Heaven and avoid Hell).

Fr.Rosica at the Vatican Press Office is making it seem that there is an atheist who can be saved and who is an exception to all needing faith and baptism for salvation, so atheists in general can be saved.

Why doesn't he just say that all atheists need to enter the Church for salvation and we do not know any exceptions!
This is like Cardinal Richard Cushing teaching that  we know  non Catholics can be saved in invincible ignorance, and since this case is known to us (visible to us), it is an exception to all  needing to convert into the Church for salvation. So in general, for this former Archbishop of Boston,  non Catholics could be saved without faith and the baptism of water. It is like Fr.Charles Curran saying we cannot judge the motive of a  person, so the outer action does not indicate the inner intention or motive. An atheist or fornicator for him, could not be in mortal sin and he could be saved. He could have 'a fundamental option for good'. Veritatis  Splendor has thrown into the dustbin the Fundamental Option Theory (Curran/Haring).But the Vatican Press Office is using it.
The Holy See Press Office cannot simply say that all atheists are oriented to Hell unless they convert into the Catholic Church with faith and the baptism of water.
Instead it says that an atheist can be saved, implying, we cannot judge these cases (as if they can). For them we cannot judge these cases since the sin is not objective. So they imply that atheists in general can be saved. This is a possibility and the rule, according to their unclear statements and Press interviews,  and not just a possibility known only to God.
It is an exception for the Press Office  as they understand exceptions i.e these are visible-to-us cases now saved in Heaven or -who they will judge as going to Heaven for sure and - so they are exceptions to the teaching on all atheists needing to be  visible members of the Church for salvation.

Fr.Rosica writes 'it should be remembered that, under church law, it is generally held to be true that even if a person has mortal sins that they have not confessed and he or she dies, they may still hope to be forgiven'. Yes as a possibility but not the general rule.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are fornication, uncleanness, immodesty, luxury,  Idolatry, witchcrafts, enmities, contentions, emulations, wraths, quarrels, dissensions, sects, Envies, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like. Of the which I foretell you, as I have foretold to you, that they who do such things shall not obtain the kingdom of God-Gal.5.19-21

St.Paul is telling the Galatians that this is the norm for not obtaining the kingdom of God.If there were any exceptions, any one who was saved after fornicating etc, St.Paul and the Galatians would not know about it.

So the norm is all atheists are going to Hell. If there was an atheist who was going to be saved or who was saved, we would not know of it. So it is irrelevant to the traditional teaching of the Church on this subject. Why does the Press Office have to mention it?.

In May, 2013, Father Rosica made newspapers for issuing statements which appeared to explain or contradict recent words by Pope Francis. In a Vactican Radio address on May 22, the Pope said, "The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us, with the Blood of Christ: all of us, not just Catholics. Everyone! ‘Father, the atheists?’ Even the atheists. [...] We must meet one another doing good. ‘But I don’t believe, Father, I am an atheist!’ But do good: we will meet one another there." [3]. Father Rosica wrote that people who are aware of the Catholic Church, but do not accept it, "cannot be saved", and that Pope Francis had "no intention of provoking a theological debate on the nature of salvation through his homily or scriptural reflection" [2]. This was widely interpreted as an official Vatican response to the Pope's homily [4] [5]. However, as Fr. Rosica was not a Vatican spokesman at the time, this was not an official Vatican position. Regarding the fates of those who die without believing in God and in the core beliefs of the Church (which would be considered a more or less sinful and serious lapse, depending on the individual context), it should be remembered that, under church law, it is generally held to be true that even if a person has mortal sins that they have not confessed and he or she dies, they may still hope to be forgiven. Forgiveness may be obtained if before they died, they expressed perfect contrition (sorrow) for each of their mortal sins and, they expressed a desire (even if not possible) to go to sacramental confession and do proper penance and restitution. This exception is based on the belief that God, in his love and mercy and in his utmost desire for all to be saved, knowing that they are sorry will allow them to formally apologize and make reparation (in some way) when they are judged.[6]-Wikipedia (emphasis added)

There are two views in moral theology.

The post Would St.Alphonsus Ligouri recommend going for the Sacraments to Fr.John George ? has been removed from the internet forum True Catholic.(1)

The Administrator holds the liberal position that we cannot judge who is in mortal sin and mortal sin is not objective. This would be useful for Fr.John George and liberal priests in the Archdiocese of Sydney.

Here is another post on True Catholic trying to explain that there are two views in moral theology.

But what about Lionel? He still affirms what he wrote in that post and has also placed it on his blog.
According to Pope John Paul II's Veritatis Splendor mortal sin is objective and can be judged. According to dissidents Fr.Charles Curran and the liberal lobby mortal sin is not objective and we cannot judge when a person is in mortal sin.
Why should I choose the lie of Fr.Curran ?. This was also not the teaching of the Church in the past.
Moral theology and salvation do not refer to an objective reality ? Or everything is relative?
Secondly I affirm Vatican Council II(AG 7) Fr.John George will not affirm it on this board?
Do we end discussion of Vatican Council II on TC ? Just like the defined dogma on salvation which he also does not accept? What about CCC 846?
What I reported in that post was not a personal view it is based on the teaching of the Catholic Church. It is because of the scandal on TC that I had been forced to post that report.
The same problem exists for me here in Rome. When a priest knows and has been informed and persists in the error I do not go to him to receive the Eucharist as St.Alphonsus Ligouri recommends.
So Fr.Peter Maher is not in mortal sin!?.John you agree with Faz ? Clara may also not believe abortion is a mortal sin. This is being a True Catholic ?-Lionel Andrades

Second post.

I am waiting for John's response.Not yours.

Does John believe in Ad Gentes 7,Vatican Council II and is John as Administrator saying that Fr.John George accepts AG 7?

Does John accept CCC 846 which quotes AG 7 and is he saying as the Administrator that Fr.John George's posts affirm CCC 846 ?

Does 'mother church' teach AG 7 and CCC 846 ?

Does mother church say that homosexual relations and the act is a mortal sin? Can Faz and Fr.John George be exempted from saying this?

I could go on... -Lionel Andrades

Fr.Thomas Rosica on changes in church understanding of salvation

Following the announcement on February 11, 2013 that His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI would resign from the papacy, Fr. Rosica was invited by the Vatican to join the staff of the Holy See Press Office and serve as one of the official spokespersons for the transition in the papacy that included the resignation, Sede Vacante, Conclave and election of the new Pope. Appearing at daily news briefings and giving over 160 interviews in English, French, Italian, Spanish and German to news networks and media outlets from around the world, Fr. Rosica assisted the Vatican during a critical period in Church history. He completed his service upon the election and inauguration of Petrine Ministry of Pope Francis.

This exception is based on the belief that God, in his love and mercy and in his utmost desire for all to be saved, knowing that they are sorry will allow them to formally apologize and make reparation (in some way) when they are judged.[6]-Wikipedia

Fr.Rosica is a controversial liberal priest. I had been in correspondence with him. He rejects the dogma on salvation, extra ecclesiam nulla salus and assumes there are known exceptions in the present times. This would also be a rejection of Vatican Council II (AG 7) etc.

The ordinary means of salvation is Catholic Faith and the baptism of water. There is no other means to go to Heaven in the present times.

An atheist, pagan or other non Catholic needs Catholic Faith and the baptism of water for salvation. So even if an atheist just had faith, it is not enough. He needs the Sacraments of the Catholic Church for salvation.

Fr.Rosica in the passage quoted above, seems to say that God's Mercy and grace is there for every one and every one will make a perfect contrition or do what has to be done to be saved, to have Catholic Faith or what is needed for salvation. So even if one is a sinner, at the last moment something will happen for their conversion.

God is Mercy but God is also Just. His Justice has sent the bad angels to Hell and they are still there.

So Fr.Rosica's view is false. The exception is not the norm. Also the exception if it existed, would not be known to us.In general those with mortal sin are going to Hell.(Veritatis Splendor,Catechism of the Catholic Church etc). If there is an exception with perfect contrition we would not know about it. So it would not be an exception to the need for all to have Catholic Faith and the baptism of water for salvation(AG 7).

'Rosica wrote that people who are aware of the Catholic Church, but do not accept it, "cannot be saved"', Yes. But we do not know any of these cases. So they are not exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus which states all need to convert into the Church for salvation.

Those who are aware or in incuplable ignorance are not an exception also to Ad Gentes 7 which says all need faith and baptism for salvation.CCC 846 on Outside the Church No Salvation cites Ad Gentes 7 which says all need faith and baptism for salvation. There is nothing mentioned in CCC 846 which contradicts this teaching, on all needing to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation.

The Catechism and Vatican Council II says all while Fr.Rosica says only those who are aware.

Would St.Alphonsus Ligouri recommend going for the Sacraments to Fr.John George ?

St.Alphonsus Ligouri says that if you know that a priest is in public mortal sin do not go to him for the Sacraments. Since it would be a sin against religion and charity. It would be cooperating in 'sacrilegous communion'. It would be receiving the Eucharist unworthly.

He writes it would be an exception if you did not have  any other Mass or priest to go to, to meet your Sunday Obligation. If there was no other priest from whom you could receive the Eucharist at Sunday Mass, then one could go to the priest in mortal sin according to St.Alphonsus.

Of course even if the priest is in mortal sin, the Eucharist is still valid, it is the Body, Blood and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

In his Teologia Moralis (Bk3,N.46) he writes that the priest in public mortal sin is on the way to Hell. So by you going to him for the Sacraments you are tellling him that all is well. This is not charity on your part. It is contrary to the teachings of the Church to encourage someone in mortal sin.

There are of course some mortal sins which are secret and are known only to God.There are some sins which for us may be venial sins but in reality be mortal sins, and vice versa.

Then it is also a sin to falsely accuse someone and especially a priest. Especially a priest!

Fr.John George a priest in good standing in the Archdiocese of Sydney for years has been denying the dogma on salvation which Pope Pius XII called an' infallible teaching'.He has been demanding that it be banned on the Internet board True Catholic. Then he also denies Vatican Council II (AG 7) on the need for all to convert into the Catholic Church with faith and salvation. There is a similar denial of CCC 846 with the same message.

He is not willing to say that homosexual sexual relations and the homosexual act are mortal sins and neither is is willing to correct another priest of the Archdiocese who claims the sexual relations and act is not a sin.

Then he criticizes modesty and does not consider immodesty as a sin....

This is public mortal sin. It is not denied on the public forum by the priest.
Should Catholics recieve the Sacraments from him ? Would it be a sin against charity and religion ?.

Would St.Alphonsus Ligouri the father of moral theology approve of it ?.Would this be 'sacrilegous communion'?

If I was in Sydney, in conscience I would not go to him for the Sacraments.

Vatican does not clarify Pope Francis' remarks on atheists: negligent CDF still teaching factual error

Father Leonard Feeney learnt about his excommunication through the newspapers and not the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith(CDF).It is reported that he made the charge of heresy against the Archbishop of Boston and the Holy Office (CDF).
Could the CDF still be teaching heresy ?The CDF has not clarified that according to the teachings of the Catholic Church atheists are Hell-bound, unless they convert into the Catholic Church.Instead the Vatican has let the media suggest that Pope Francis was saying that atheists are saved in general and do not need to convert. This is a false catechesis of Catholics and non Catholics.
It contradicts Vatican Council II (AG 7) the Catechism of the Catholic Church(846) and Pope Francis' recent statement , that Jesus cannot be found outside the Catholic Church. For salvation, atheists need to believe in Jesus within the Catholic Church.
The present CDF archbishops and cardinal, are on public record indicating that there are known exceptions to Ad Gentes 7,the Catechism of the Catholic Church 846 and the dogma on salvation.
The same heresy of the Archbishop of Boston, Cardinal Richard Cushing was repeated by Pope Benedict XVI and the present Secretary of the CDF Cardinal Luiz Ladaria S.J.Pope Benedict had it published in Light of the World (Ignatius Press p.107) and Cardinal Luiz Ladaria in two of the International Theological Commission papers, Christianity and the World Religions and the Hope of Salvation for Infants who die without baptism.
It is a fact that we do not know people saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire. It is a fact that these cases in heaven are invisible for us.In faith we believe that the saints are in heaven but we cannot see them with our physical vision.

So the CDF archbishops and cardinal know of no known exception on earth to the interpretation of Fr.Leonard Feeney on the dogma, to Vatican Council II(AG 7) and the Catechism of the Catholic Church (846).
The CDF officials could accept the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance as a possibility and also accept the literal interpretation of the dogma, as it was known for centuries.Since there are only possibilities which we accept in faith but there are no exceptions.
The CDF permits the error. They allow the claim of there being persons in Heaven whom we can see with the naked eye. These cases are supposed to be  exceptions to the dogma on salvation, Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
Mortal sin, heresy and sacrilege apply also to popes, cardinals and bishops.Even they can go to Hell. This is a first class heresy. Since it contradicts the Nicene Creed and an infallible teaching. This is public mortal sin even after being informed. How can they offer Holy Mass?
Jesus has died for the salvation of all, including atheists, but to receive this salvation all , need to respond and enter the Church(Dominus Iesus 20). However to be politically correct with the Left the Vatican spokesman is silent on this issue. The heresy in Light of the World was never clarified and now Pope Benedict is writing another book!.
Archbishop Gerhard Muller, Prefect of the CDF and Archbishop Augustine Di Noia, Vice President, Ecclesia Dei have in interviews with the National Catholic Register, indicated that there are personally known exceptions to the dogma on salvation(and Ad Gentes 7).
These are personal errors. The Holy Spirit cannot guide the Magisterium of the Church to imply that we can see the dead in Heaven who are saved and so are exceptions to the dogma on salvation and to Ad Gentes 7.
Neither can the Holy Spirit guide them to assume that there are some Protestants who are are not visible members of the Catholic Church, known to them, who will be saved even if they do not enter the Catholic Church.

This was an error made by Fr.Jonathan Morris (1) of the Archdiocese of New York and who was corrected by Michael Voris. There was no apology form the priest or the archdiocese nor any comment from the Vatican. There was no clarification to the error Fr.Morris made on Fox News.
When Fr.Leonard Feeney allegedly told the Archbishop and the Holy Office that they were in heresy, it was when they were alleging that there were known exceptions to the dogma; they assumed that these cases were relevant to the dogma. The same error is being made today, by the CDF and in general by the Jesuits.-Lionel Andrades

Brian Kelly does not mention that Vatican Council II is in perfect agreement with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus

Brian Kelly in another report on the St.Benedict Center N.H website does not mention that Vatican Council II is in perfect agreement with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. For him too Lumen Gentium 16 is possibly a known exception to the dogma on salvation.

He has not cited Vatican Council II to support his views, when he criticizes Catholic Online for a bad catechesis on Pope Francis' comment on atheists 'doing good' and possibly being saved.

Brian Kelly cites Scripture and the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus to support his view while Catholic Online depends on the liberal Huffington Post and a reference to Vatican Council II without any text.

The ace was in Kelly's hand but he didn't play it.

Like other traditionalists he could wrongly assume that Lumen Gentium 16 (invincible ignorance /good conscience), Lumen Gentium 8 (elements of sanctification), Ad Gentes 11 (seeds of the Word), Unitatis Redintigratio 3 (imperfect communion with the Church),Nostra Aetate 2 ('good and holy' non Catholics saved) are exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

For him it would seem these are all visible-to-us cases in the present times. He can allegedly see these dead persons in 2013. Likewise the Huffington Post editors would allege that these cases are all in Heaven without the baptism of water-and more important- they are not invisible to us,but actually visible, for them to be exceptions to Brian Kelly's interpretation of the dogma.

As if the fault is with Vatican Council II Brian Kelly and the other traditionalists will not cite text from the Council, to defend the dogma.Since if the dead are visible to us , as it is implied , then there are known exceptions in Heaven who are there without Catholic Faith and the baptism of water.

Instead-Brian Kelly after citing Scripture and the dogma could quote Ad Gentes 7 which says all need 'faith and baptism' for salvation.Ad Gentes 7  is placed under the title Outside the Church there is no salvation in the Catechism of the Catholic Church (846).

Having established that Ad Gentes 7 and the Cetechism are in agreement with the dogma, he could then mention how being saved implicitly for us in invincible ignorance(LG 16) , being saved invisiblly for us with a good conscience (LG 16) and known only to God 'elements of sanctification'(LG 8) harmonize with the dogma. Since they are not visible to us, they cannot be classified as exceptions; visible or invisible exceptions.

So Ad Gentes 7 supports the dogma which says all need to convert into the Church for salvation (atheists are included) and  there are no known exceptions mentioned in Vatican Council II.

The Huffington Post says:

The Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the Modern World (Gaudium et Spes) contains an important explanation of the phenomena referred to as 'Atheism' (See, GS #17-22). It is a very large term and we have to first examine what is meant when it is embraced by an individual to best understand the effect of the claim.

So they do not claim that Gaudium et Specs says that atheists are saved in general without entering the Catholic Church.

They then state:

The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains that "Since it rejects or denies the existence of God, atheism is a sin against the virtue of religion but the imputability of the offense can be significantly diminished in virtue of the intentions and the circumstances" (CCC#2125).

'but the imputability of the offense can be significantly diminished in virtue of the intentions and the circumstances'. This could only be known by God.To die as an atheist is still a mortal sin .So why mention it?

Brian Kelly needs to put an end to all this irrationality in the media when he is commenting upon it-and to please quote Vatican Council II.

No correction from Bro. Andre Marie MICM : the baptism of desire was never an exception to the literal interpretation of Fr.Leonard Feeney and neither physically visible to us.

There  have been so many reports on the Internet on the baptism of desire. This issue has been debated frustratingly. So  many Catholics on different Internet forums have been confused. Bro. Andre Marie MICM, has still to say that these cases, deceased, now in Heaven are not visible to us.They are not known exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. He still has to say that they are irrelevant to the literal interpretation of Fr.Leonard Feeney.
Brother André Marie
Even  Fr.Brian Harrison needs to clarify this issue.Since he writes ,'It seems that in recent debates over “Feeneyism” in traditional Catholic circles, the lion’s share of the cut-and-thrust has been devoted to issue (a) – that is, to arguing for or against the validity of ‘baptism of desire’ and ‘baptism of blood’...' (1).He takes it for granted also that the baptism of desire and baptism of blood are known exceptions and so relevant to the Boston Heresy Case.If these cases are not visible to us then the Boston Heresy Case refers to the Archbishop and Jesuits of Boston at that time.

Fr.Harrison is revising  an article for Catholicism.org, which will contain the error of being able to see the dead, now saved in Heaven and who are known exceptions to the dogma.

No one from any of the communities of Fr.Leonard Feeney in the USA, Dioceses of Worcester,Manchester and Los Angeles, have been willing to answer two questions which I have been asking them over the years.I assumed they were thinking this through and discussing it.It has been a long time now.

About Brother André Marie
A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Brother Andre Marie graduated from that city's Holy Cross School in 1988. He went on to study at Louisiana State University's (LSU) main campus in Baton Rouge, on full scholarship as a music major. After three years at LSU, he transferred to Holy Apostles College and Seminary, in Cromwell, Connecticut, where he took a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spring of 1993 (major in Humanities with a minor in Philosophy). In September of 2007, he received the degree of Master of Arts in Theology, Summa cum Laude, also from Holy Apostles.
He entered as a postulant for the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in May of 1993, and went on to the novitiate on Christmas of that year. He made profession of vows on Epiphany of 1996.
Since 1993, he was mentored in philosophy and theology by Brother Francis Maluf, M.I.C.M., Ph.D., a published philosopher of note.
His apostolic work has included various facets of the publishing apostolate of the congregation. For ten years, he was also part of the community's small "mission band" of brothers who traveled to different cities distributing literature to interested persons in an effort to spread the Catholic Faith and bring wayward Catholics back to a sacramental life. He oversaw that apostolate for four years.
He has edited three of the Order's books, published dozens of articles, and presented numerous lectures in apologetics, the history of doctrine, the Church's ecumenical councils, ecclesiology, and devotional topics. He is currently giving lectures on making America Catholic as part of the "Catholic America Tour."
Since 2002, he has been Prior of St. Benedict Center, an apostolate of the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Richmond, New Hampshire.

Fr.Brian Harrison is revising for the community of Fr.Leonard Feeney (catholism.org) a 33 page article which suggests there are known exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

He does not know any one saved in invincible ignorance or the baptism of desire so how can these cases be exceptions to the literal intepretation of Fr. Leonard Feeney ?

No Church document states that the baptism of desire and invincible ignorance are visible to us or that we can personally know these cases, so then how can these cases be relevant or an exception to the Counci of Florence on extra ecclesiam nulla salus ?

Where does the Letter of the Holy Office state that Fr.Leonard Feeney was excommunicated for heresy  and not disobedience ?
