Vatican needs to apologise for the excommunication of Fr. Leonard Feeney and Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre




The Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary(MICM) at the St.Benedict Center, Still River, Massachusetts have been granted canonical status by Bishop Robert J.McManus, the bishop of Worcester.It is approved by the Vatican (CDF/Ecclesia Dei).The Decree recognizes that the MICM is in accord with the Magisterium.

Once again an appeal is made for an apology from the Vatican for the excommunication of Fr. Leonard Feeney and Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre.The excommunication was based upon a doctrinal error, an irrational interpretation of Vatican Council II and the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith(Holy Office 1949) made a mistake when they assumed invisible cases of the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and being saved in invincible ignorance(I.I) were visible and known exceptions to Feeneyite EENS.They were examples of salvation outside the Church.This was the possibilities -are- exceptions- error. 1 So Fr.Leonard Feeney was correct while the Holy Office 1949 (CDF) was irrational in its philosophy and new theology.The Jesuit at Boston was orthodox on salvation doctrine.While the Holy Office and the Jesuit community were heretical.

Pope John Paul II and Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith,were wrong to excommunicate Archbishop Lefebvre.The central issue was Vatican Council II. Vatican Council II was interpreted by the magisterium with BOD,BOB,I.I,LG 16, LG 8, UR 3 etc ,which were hypothetical possibilities, as being exceptions to the dogma EENS.They were mistaken for being examples of known salvation outside the Church.So for the magisterium, Vatican Council II became a rupture with Tradition.It contradicted EENS, the Syllabus of Errors and the past ecclesiology of an ecumenism of return.


So Archbishop Lefebvre correctly rejected this interpretation of the Council.

Pope John Paul II and Cardinal Ratzinger instead should have clarified that Vatican Council II with LG 16 etc referring to hypothetical and theoretical cases, were not relevant or exceptions to the dogma EENS.They were not exceptions to EENS as it was interpreted for example by the missionaries in the 16th century.They should have announced that the theologians at Vatican Council II made a mistake.Possibilities could not be exceptions to the Feeneyite interpretation of the dogma EENS,since possibilities are not concrete people in our reality.
But may be this was not known to them.
It was not known to Archbishop Lefebvre.

It was not known to the SSPX bishops and traditionalists of that time Dietrich von Hildebrand and Alice von Hildebrand, Michael Davis.

Pope John Paul II and Cardinal Ratzinger needed to announce that Vatican Council II, without the irrational premise, is in harmony with the strict interpretation of the dogma EENS and the ecumenism of return.There was no conflict with the Syllabus of Errors.

They did not do this.


Since Pius XII this error was made by the popes.It is repeated today by the SSPX bishops.2.


The mistake is not corrected for the communities of Fr. Leonard Feeney, the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in the USA.


The community at Still River,MA was granted canonical status last month, but there is no clarification on the doctrinal issue for Catholics at large.


The diocese of Worcester still interprets Vatican Council II and EENS with the irrational premise.Possibillities are exceptions to the dogma EENS is their doctrine.Vatican Council II a rupture with EENS and EENS is a rupture with EENS as it was known in the 16th century since They support Cushing and John Courtney Murray.invisble BOD,BOB and I.I are visible exceptions to EENS for the magisterium.

So the message still is that Fr. Leonard Feeney was wrong and Archbishop Cushing and the Jesuits were correct.The SSPX must adapt today to the irrational imterpretation of Vatican Council II for canonical status.

Bishop McManus,the two popes and the CDF are still in a rupture with the magisterium of the past.They are ignoring this.They are passing off the possibilities are exceptions error as the authentic magisterium of the Church.Their philosophy violates the Principle of Non Contradiction 3 and is not part of the Catholic deposit of the faith.Their official theology depends upon seeing on earth non existing people.

The CDF must announce that interpreting Vatican Council II without the irrational premise is the deposit of the faith.


The same announcement must be made by Bishop Athansius Schneider who represents the Vatican and the SSPX.He must not ask for a Syllabus of Errors based on the irrational interpretation of Vatican Council II.

Also Chris Ferrara and Roberto dei Mattei it is hoped will announce that when they wrote their books on Vatican Council II, they were unaware that Vatican Council II and EENS could be interpreted without the irrational premise.

Their books are now obsolete as are the writings of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre.

Return to product informationNo one in the Society of St.Pius X (SSPX) knew of any one saved outside the Catholic Church this year or the last 100 years and they are still selling the book Is Feeneyism Catholic? by Fr.Francois Laisney .Reports on the Internet state books by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre are now obsolete and so also books on the Vatican Council II by Lefebrists Christopher Ferrara and Roberto dei Mattei.There is no denial.It has been also shown that Bishop Fellay made a theological and doctrinal error in one of his Letters to Friend and Benefactors and there is no acknowledgement or clarification.They have nothing to say.

A few years back Bishop Charles Morerod O.P stated that the SSPX should not be allowed to use Catholic Churches until the doctrinal issue is settled.There was no defense from the SSPX theologians in manifest ignorance.

The SSPX should by now know that Vatican Council II can be interpreted without the irrational premise and the conclusion is traditional.This is a discovery for the SSPX seminarians and priests today.

But they will continue to sell the book 'Is Feeneyism Catholic' by Fr. Francois Laisney, a priest of the SSPX who was asked by Bishop Fellay to write against Bishop Richard Williamson and he obeyed.The conclusion of Laisney's book is opposite to that of the 2012 SSPX General Chapter Doctrinal Statement which the Vatican liberals at the CDF/Ecclesia Dei rejected.

The traditionalist website Rorate Caeili cannot discuss this issue since the editor, 'New Catholic' is being threathened by the Jewish Left. Even the liberal rabbi who teaches Catholic seminarians ecumenism at the Pontifical University of St.Thomas Acquinas( Angelicum) Rome, objects. He would like Rorate Caeili and the SSPX to continue to interpret outside the Church there is no salvation, with the invisible people are visible premise ;unknown cases of the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and being saved in invincible ignorance(I.I) are known exceptions to the Feeneyite interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus.This is important for the emerging new one world religion in a new one world order, which the two popes are supporting.

Fr.Jean Marie Glieze who teaches Ecclesiology at the SSPX seminary Econe, Switzerland, led the SSPX side in the doctrinal talks with the Vatican not knowing that the baptism of desire was never an exception to the dogma outside the Church there is no salvation.This was the ruse of the liberal theologians.Archbishop Lefebvre was in ignorance and accepted it.Since Pius XII did not correct the error.

So at the Vatican talks, doctrinally Fr. Jean Marie Gleize was on the Dominican Fr.Charles Morerod's side.Morerod led the Vatican team and was later rewarded. When he was made a bishop in Switzerldand he announced that the SSPX should not be allowed to use Catholic churches unless they settle the doctrinal issue. He meant that they had to accept Vatican Council II with LG 16 referring to known people saved outside the Church.

Bishop Fellay is still clueless.

Also the lay supporters of the SSPX, writers and speakers, are keeping quiet on this issue. They cannot announce that they were wrong all these years on Catholic doctrine.

Possibily next month Rorate Caeili will post a report criticizing Vatican Council II but will not state that the Council is in harmony with Feeneyite EENS.Expect the same from Remnant News, Angelus Press etc.

I sometimes have attended the SSPX Mass in a small chapel near the via Cavour Metro Station, Rome. The chapel is always full. I stand outside or kneel near the door. Near by there are so many churches which the SSPX priests in Italy cannot use since Bishop Fellay does not understand that Vatican Council II ( without the premise) is not a rupture with Feeneyite EENS.He has also made a doctrinal error in one of his public letters to SSPX benefactors not knowing of Vatican Council II and extra ecclesiam nulla salus, interpreted without the false invisible people are visible premise.

I wish he would quit if he cannot do anything about this problem.It is now a few years.Inspite of some many prayers ' it does not sink in' or he is afraid to say that Archbishop Lefebvre made a mistake and his writings are now obsolete.The SSPX bishops too were clueless during the excommunication.

The doctrinally in correct and theologically flawed SSPX book by Laisney is now being sold by Amazon.Other sellers include Angelus Press and possibly leftist media.It is a book for liberals and traditionalists.-Lionel Andrades

The communities of Fr.Leonard Feeney in the USA are denying the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) as it was interpreted over the centuries.When they interpret Vatican Council II, with the irrational premise then the Council is a rupture with the dogam extra ecclesiam nulla salus as it was known to Fr. Leonard Feeney.
The St.Benedict Center, Still River, Mass.was given canonical status last month since they have accepted Vatican Council II with hypothetical cases interpreted as not being hypothetical, but concrete and known exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.This is expected of them by the diocese.
The Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the communities of Fr.Leonard Feeney,  are not affirming Vatican Council II with hypothetical cases just being hypothetical. It would mean that LG 16, LG 8, UR 3 etc do not refer to known people. So they would not be exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.This too is an interpretation of Vatican Council II. It is a rational interpretation of the Council.
Like the bishops in Worcester, Manchester and Boston they are only viewing Vatican Council II with LG 16 etc being a rupture with the dogma outside the Church there is no salvation.So Vatican Council II becomes a break with Tradition.
This is a negation of Feeneyite EENS.They are using the false premise in the interpretation of Vatican Council II to make it a rupture with EENS as it was interpreted by the missionaries in the 16th century.
They are interpreting Vatican Council II with the false premise i.e invisible people are visible.Then the bishops use the same irrationality to interpret the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. For them there are exceptions to the dogma. For them hypothetical cases of the baptism of desire etc are practical exceptions to Feeneyite extra ecclesiam nulla salus.This is the interpretation of outside the Church there is no salvation by other liberals and also the traditionalists.
Mons. Joseph Clifford Fenton, Fr.John Hardon and Fr. William Most also interpreted EENS with the baptism of desire etc being an exception.So they were not Feeneyites.They followed the error of the Letter of the Holy Office 1949.They mistook what is invisible as being visible.
Now the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary are not affirming Feeneyite EENS when they accept Vatican Council II( with the premise),as if there is no choice.They are accepting Vatican Council II to compromise with their liberal bishops.They are not clarifying that they affirm Vatican Council II without the irrational premise, without hypothetical cases being interpreted as being non hypothetical.They need to clarify that the baptism of desire is invisible.If a person is saved with the baptism of desire with or without the baptism of water, it cannot be a visible exception to Feeneyite EENS.

They could tell the Polish Government and Bishops that Vatican Council II does not contradict the Church's teachings on Muslims and Jews, as it was known to St. Stanislaus Kotska and St. Maximillian Kolbe.In Poland they could call for the non separation of Church and State since the priority for all going to Heaven is membership in the Catholic Church.This is affirmed (AG 7, LG 14) and not changed by Vatican Council II.
They can ask the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith to also ask other religious communities like the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary at St. Benedict Center,Still River, to affirm Vatican Council II, without the irrational premise like they do, and then be given canonical status in the diocese of Worcester, USA and elsewhere. This should also apply to new religious communities in England and Germany who attend the Novus Ordo Mass.The Vatican Council II-requirement should not only apply to those who attend the Tridentine Rite Mass.

Bishop Fellay and Archbishop Pozzo, both interpret EENS and Vatican Council II with the irrational premise

 Bishop Bernard Fellay would say that he affirms the Syllabus of Errors but we also know that he affirms the New Theology, the New Ecclesiology, with exceptions to EENS. He endorses the Letter of the Holy Office's interpretation of EENS.So there are exceptions to EENS for him and when there are exceptions to EENS it is a negation of the old ecclesiology. When the old ecclesiology is negated the Syllabus of Errors on ecumenism and non Christians religions and salvation, is negated.It is the same with Archbishop Guido Pozzo, Secretary of Ecclesia Dei.
Fellay and Pozzo,  both interpret EENS and Vatican Council II with the irrational premise( invisible cases are known people in the present times saved outside the Church).

The LG- 16-is-visible mistake is all over the Internet on traditionalist websites including that of the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX).This is the Arian- like heresy in the Catholic Church today.It is common.
