The Church is Apostolic but what the USCCB is teaching is not apostolic :more confusion in today's Daily Mass Reading reflection

Risultati immagini per Photo of Pope pIus XII
Only in the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 is it inferred that the deceased now saved in Heaven are explicit exceptions on earth to all needing the baptism of water for salvation. This is irrational. It is also not apostolic.
The apostles taught outside the Church there is no salvation.Centuries later saints and popes who referred to the baptism of desire, did not claim that it was  objectively visible to us.

Yet this irrationality of the visible to us salvation in Heaven, is the norm in the Departments of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops(USCCB).

Today in the video reflection on the Daily Mass Readings Rev.Fr.Thomas Weinanday O.F.M,from the USCCB Secretariate of Doctrine says that every Sunday when we pray the Nicene Creed we say 'I believe in one holy Catholic and apostolic Church.'
He asks,"what do we mean when we say that we believe in an apostolic Church?"

He  answers, "We believe that all what Jesus  has taught, what he has done for us has come to us from the Apostles. They were the first followers of Jesus. He appointed them to be his official witnesses as to what he said and did.We  believe that the Apostles have proclaimed to us the truth and so we believe what they believed.By the power of the Holy Spirit the Apostles have guaranteed that the Gospel we believe is the true Gospel.'

"That guarantee,'"he says, "is still present because we believe that the Bishop of Rome and all the bishops in union with him possess apostolic authority i.e that they are the presence of the apostles in our midst today.
"Thus we are assured that what we believe is in accord with the 12 apostles. This is what has been taught and revealed by Jesus today."
This  July 11 Jem Sullivan Ph.d, in a reflection on the Daily Mass Readings , on the USCCB video, affirmed Jesus without the necessity of the Catholic Church, for salvation. The Church would not be necessary for the salvation of all people since there is defacto, known salvation outside the Church for her. It is as if she could name someone saved in 2013-2014 without the baptism of water. The apostles and  the Church Fathers taught that there was no known salvation outside the Catholic Church. She implies there is salvation. She will not say all need to enter the Church for salvation. So both these teachings 1) there is no salvation and 2) there is salvation outside the Church cannot be correct. One has to be wrong. One is not apostolic.

Fr.Thomas Weinanday's colleague Fr.Dan Merz, Associate Director, Secretariate of Divine Worship,USCCB in an e-mail  to me(July 14,2014) also implied that being saved in invincible ignorance or the baptism of desire are physically visible in the present times. So all people, for him, defacto do not have to enter the Catholic Church for salvation. This contradicts the apostolic teachings of the Catholic Church during the Middle Ages. So one of the teachings is not apostolic. The one held by the USCCB now or the one during the Middle Ages.
The USCCB Doctrinal Committee in a Notification issued on Fr.Peter C.Phan also assumed that being saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire are exceptions to all needing to enter the Church for salvation. In other words these cases are known and visible and so they are explicit exceptions to the traditional teaching. This is irrational. How can the Holy Spirit teach that the dead saved are visible on earth to be exceptions?. This cannot be an apostolic teaching.

Then the  USCCB will not correct the Archdiocese of Boston website which states Jews do not have to convert in the present times. Jesus taught Jews needed to convert. This was an apostolic teaching.

We Catholics no longer embrace a theology of return" says Fr. John Crossin, O.S.F.S the Executive Director of the Secretariat for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). This statement contradicts the defined dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. Cantate Domino, Council of Florence 1441 specifically mentions Protestants as heretics and Orthodox Christians as schismatics. It says they will go to the fires of Hell unless they convert into the Catholic Church. The three Councils which defined extra ecclesiam nulla salus were apostolic. Fr.John Crossin is not.He and the USCCB are teaching heresy.

So it was a public lie today for Fr.Thomas Weinanday to claim that the USCCB is apostolic.

In the Nicene Creed we pray ,'I believe in one baptism for the forgiveness of sin'.This refers to the baptism of water, which is visible and known to us.The USCCB teaches that there are three known baptisms, water, desire and blood. This is irrational. It is a new doctrine and it is not apostolic. It is heresy.
The USCCB is presenting Jesus without the need of the Catholic Church for salvation since it assumes that there is known salvation outside the Church. It is telling Catholics in America to assume that you can see the deceased- saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire and that these dead persons now in Heaven, are physically visible exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus, which is no more apostolic.
It is telling Catholics in America to assume that those saved with ' a ray of the Truth'( NA 2), 'imperfect communion with the Church'(UR 3), 'seeds of the Word'(AG 11), elements of sanctification and truth'(LG 8) etc are visible to us defacto in 2014.So the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus as it was interpreted traditionally over centuries, is no more apostolic.

Reading 1 2 cor 4:7-15

Brothers and sisters:
We hold this treasure in earthen vessels,
that the surpassing power may be of God and not from us.
We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained;
perplexed, but not driven to despair;
persecuted, but not abandoned;
struck down, but not destroyed;
always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus,
so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body.
For we who live are constantly being given up to death
for the sake of Jesus,
so that the life of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

So death is at work in us, but life in you.
Since, then, we have the same spirit of faith,
according to what is written, I believed, therefore I spoke,
we too believe and therefore speak,
knowing that the one who raised the Lord Jesus
will raise us also with Jesus
and place us with you in his presence.
Everything indeed is for you,
so that the grace bestowed in abundance on more and more people
may cause the thanksgiving to overflow for the glory of God.

Responsorial Psalm ps 126:1bc-2ab, 2cd-3, 4-5, 6

R. (5) Those who sow in tears shall reap rejoicing.
When the LORD brought back the captives of Zion,
we were like men dreaming.
Then our mouth was filled with laughter,
and our tongue with rejoicing.
R. Those who sow in tears shall reap rejoicing.
Then they said among the nations,
“The LORD has done great things for them.”
The LORD has done great things for us;
we are glad indeed.
R. Those who sow in tears shall reap rejoicing.
Restore our fortunes, O LORD,
like the torrents in the southern desert.
Those that sow in tears
shall reap rejoicing.
R. Those who sow in tears shall reap rejoicing.
Although they go forth weeping,
carrying the seed to be sown,
They shall come back rejoicing,
carrying their sheaves.
R. Those who sow in tears shall reap rejoicing.

Gospel mt 20:20-28

The mother of the sons of Zebedee approached Jesus with her sons
and did him homage, wishing to ask him for something.
He said to her,
“What do you wish?”
She answered him,
“Command that these two sons of mine sit,
one at your right and the other at your left, in your Kingdom.”
Jesus said in reply,
“You do not know what you are asking.
Can you drink the chalice that I am going to drink?”
They said to him, “We can.”
He replied,
“My chalice you will indeed drink,
but to sit at my right and at my left, this is not mine to give
but is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father.”
When the ten heard this,
they became indignant at the two brothers.
But Jesus summoned them and said,
“You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them,
and the great ones make their authority over them felt.
But it shall not be so among you.
Rather, whoever wishes to be great among you shall be your servant;
whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave.
Just so, the Son of Man did not come to be served
but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Rorate Dhimmitude

New Catholic at Rorate Caeili is disappointed with Monsignore Cesare Nosiglia, the Archbishop of Turin, Italy,' for the most adulatory Ramadan or Eid-al-Fitr greeting card'.I  think the good Monsignore , in a sense, is as adulatory as New Catholic.
Rorate writes:The members of the religion of Mohammed can sense more than any other adherent of any faith the weakness in others. It is not due to any inherent evil in them as human beings (they are as noble and precious and as unworthy of the redemption bought by the Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ as any human being)...1

Neither is Rorate or the Archbishop of Turin saying that all Muslims according to Vatican Council II and pre Vatican Council II Church- teachings, are oriented to Hell unless they convert into the Catholic Church. They need 'faith and baptism' for salvation (AG 7,CCC 846).The Muslims in Mosul need Catholic Faith and the baptism of water to avoid Hell according to the official magisterial texts of the Catholic Church.(AG 7,CCC 845,846,Dominus Iesus etc).
Rorate will not state this since New Catholic like the Society of St.Pius (SSPX)  interpret Vatican Council II with an irrational premise. They asssume that all salvation mentioned in the Council texts (NA 2,LG 16 etc) refer to not invisible for us cases, but to persons seen in the flesh, in the present times. So they are exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. They are examples of non Catholics saved outside the Church.
If New Catholic interprets Vatican Council II without this irrational premise of being able to see the dead who are exceptions to Tradition, then Vatican Council II would not be in conflict with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. The Council would be traditional on other religions and ecumenism.
This is a subject Rorate does not mention.
According to Vatican Council II (AG 7) Muslims in Mosul are not informed that they are going to the same place where the Catholic Church teaches, Mohammad went. According to Lumen Gentium 14 they cannot be saved who knowing  about Jesus and the Church do not enter the Church. The Quran shows that Mohammad knew.

This is the teaching of Vatican Council II and not a pre Vatican Council II document on Islam.Vatican Council II (AG 7) says all need faith and baptism and none of the founders of the religion of Mohammad had faith and baptism.
We appreciate the 'good and holy'(Nostra Aetate) things in Islam. We love Muslims and other non Catholics since Jesus asks this of us.We also know that they are all going to Hell with no known exception in 2014.Those saved in invincible ignorance (LG 16), a ray of the Truth(NA 2) etc are posibilities only. They are known to God only. They are not known exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and Ad Gentes 7.We cannot meet someone in Mosul or elsewhere who is saved or will be saved, in invincible ignorance, the seeds of the Word(AG 11), elements of sanctification and truth(LG 8) etc. We cannot  shake hands with any one on the street who does not need faith and baptism for salvation.Vatican Council II is in agreement with the Syllabus of Errors when there is no irrational premise used in the interpretation.
But who is going to tell all this to the Muslims in Mosul or Italy? It is not going to be New Catholic or the Bishop of Turin.Rorate is free to fill in the blanks left empty by Monsignore Cesare Nosiglia. What's stopping him?
New Catholic will not tell Muslims that Jesus said those who do not believe will be condemned (Mk.3:5) and so they need the baptism of water, with Catholic Faith, for salvation (John 3:5).Both are protecting their interests, one is in the USA and the other in Turin.

On Rorate Caeili there are so many reports on Vatican Council II.It is always, Vatican Council II with the dead man walking and visible inference. This is the politically correct version of the Council accepted by the liberals, too.No one will complain.
Rorate is not going to say that Vatican Council II is in agreement with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
The politically safe, looking after n.1 policy is part of the general dhimmitude we see today. It is not restricted to Turin.-Lionel Andrades

1.

And the 2014 Dhimmi Award goes to...

...Monsignore Cesare Nosiglia, the Archbishop of Turin, Italy, for the most adulatory Ramadan or Eid-al-Fitr greeting card or letter ever published south of the Alps. Or north of them.

When sending greetings to members of another faith, there is courtesy and politeness, when circumstances absolutely demand the greeting. Then there is flattery. And then there is just plain sycophancy.

Islam is not a religion of "nice". Islam is a religion of Law and Power. Law, Polity, Faith are inseparable, and the faithful Muslim is (and in this he should be praised for acting upon what he wrongly believes) always seeking the accomplishment of the three realities in one, whenever circumstances allow them.

The following displaced Christian woman, interviewed by Assyrian-owned Ishtar TV this week shows this well. Remember that her family has been in what is now Northern Iraq forever, that there were Christians in her city of Mosul (Nineveh) certainly days or weeks after Pentecost, Jewish or Proselyte pilgrims who had been in Jerusalem for the Feast of Shavuot and, probably by way of Damascus, returned to their land filled with the Spirit and the Good News of the Resurrected Messiah. Then, six centuries later came the invading Arab hordes and, with time and pressure, and new populations, a Christian population became a Muslim-majority population.

Now, one can only imagine how many millions of times the lady and her ancestors had greetings of Muslim feasts for their neighbors. But, with the most brutal regime for centuries in town, most Muslims (not all, of course, but almost all, other than one or other heroic Muslim), sensing the times, turned on their Christian neighbors -- that is how centuries of polite greetings from Christians were returned: "Ordinary Muslim citizens are treating us like this in Mosul." Please, take a look -- she knows the Koran well, but that was not enough to save her family from expulsion and expropriation:

The members of the religion of Mohammed can sense more than any other adherent of any faith the weakness in others. It is not due to any inherent evil in them as human beings (they are as noble and precious and as unworthy of the redemption bought by the Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ as any human being); it is, as we said above, the way the structure Polity-Law-Creed that is their faith functions. When they sense they can advance, they will. Therefore, a polite greeting can be interpreted as mere courtesy. But bishops in particular, who are the leaders of the Catholic faithful and who are, for this reason, usually treated as the political leaders of Christian minorities in Muslim lands (because that is the way Muslims view matters), must be careful not to send messages of lavish adulation, which are rightly interpreted by most Muslims as submission -- which is, after all, the very name of Islam.

So, yes, by all means, dear Lord Bishops, if you wish to be courteous, limit yourselves to greeting cards with a couple of words. More than that, and, even if you are not aware of it, you are calling for much, much more than you can handle.

Cristina Siccardi has not cited Vatican Council II itself in her criticism of Enzo Bianchi and the Monastery of Bose

 Linverno_della_Chiesa1
Cristina Siccardi in L'Inverno della Chiesa dopo il Concilio Vaticano II has exposed the doctrinal errors in the Ecumenism of the Monastery of Bose, Italy whose Prior Enzo Bianchi has been appointed to the Pontifical Council for Christian Unity. However she has not pointed out that Vatican Council II ( Ad Gentes 7) says all need faith and baptism for salvation. Ad Gentes 7 is placed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church under the title Outside the Church No Salvation (CCC 846).
Città del vaticano, 20 marzo 2013 - © Servizio Fotografico de “L’O.R.”All the non Catholics at the Monastery of Bose need Catholic Faith and the Baptism of water for salvation. They do not have Catholic Faith, which includes the faith and moral teachings. They do not have  access to the Sacraments through which Jesus saves. In their present condition they are all oriented to Hell according to Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
In Ut Unum Sint Pope John Paul II mentions that other Christians need to accept the pope and the teachings of the Church for unity. While in Ecclesia di Eucarestia he supported the ecclesiology of outside the Catholic Church, which has the Eucharist, there is no salvation.Every one needs the Eucharist for salvation.
Dominus Iesus contradicted the leftist policies of Enzo Bianchi, when it stated that though Jesus died for all and salvation is open to all in potential, all need to enter the Church for salvation.
The heretical Monastery of Bianchi  has been criticized by Cristina Siccardi using pre -Vatican Council II documents. She has not cited Vatican Council II itself.
She has not realized that Enzo Bianchi interprets Vatican Council II using an irrational inference. He assumes that all salvation mentioned in the Council, is visible to us, physically. So these personally known cases saved in invincible ignorance(LG ), a ray of the Truth(NA 2) elements of sanctification and Truth(LG 8) are explicit exceptions, for him,  to extra ecclesiam nulla salus. In other words these deceased now in Heaven are examples on earth of there being salvation outside the Church.
This is also the interpretation of Vatican Council II by Cristina Siccardi, the SSPX and Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre.

Cristina is the author of 52 books. She should write  book number 53,showing Bianchi, how there is no rational  citation in Vatican Council II for his heretical teachings approved by the political left.  -Lionel Andrades

"False Prophet" Enzo Bianchi is Appointed to Ecumenical Council

Enzo Bianchi und das horizontale Christentum

(Vatikan) Pope Francis named a new member and Consultant of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of Unity Among Christians. No one would have seriously considered that the Argentine Pope would have also called traditional Catholics to such an important board. That Enzo Bianchi the non-clerical Prior of the ecumenical based group he founded "Monastery of Bose", would be shown the Pope's special favor is truly astonishing.

Bianchi belongs to the progressive a-dogmatic part of the Church, who interpret the Second Vatican Council and the popes after it according to their own fancy. Msgr. Antonio Livi, who has criticized Bianchi's theology in several essays did not hesitate to call the Prior of Bose a "false prophet." For Bianchi as the member of a horizontal, anthropocentric, Christendom, the only way to salvation "is imposed by by a demagogic quest for peace, an illusory universal friendship, and laicistic solidarity", so says Catholic historian Cristina Siccardi. One part of the Church which appears to have been neglected by Pope Francis. Under Pope Francis the Cardinal Martini-friend and Left wing media darling Bianchi is accordingly made a Consultant for Ecumenism.
