Rorate Caeili’s
interpretation of Vatican Council II is approved by the liberals. Don Pietro
Leone’s book on Vatican Council II will be allowed to be published by the Masons.
It is in the same line as those written by Roberto dei Mattei, Christopher
Ferrara and Peter Kwasniewski. All approved by the Left.
Kwasniewski is on their
approved-list and he is allowed to speak at conferences. Like them he
interprets the Council as a break with Tradition.
Even Archbishop Carlo
Vigano is no threat since he interprets LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA ,2 GS 22
etc as being objective and not non objective cases in 2023. So there is a break
with the Athanasius Creed and the rest of Tradition.
Some two year back Rorate
Caeili (web blog) and Don Pietro Leone, in a report/installment on Ecumenism,
made the common error. They interpreted UR 3 irrationally.
This was political. They
were forced to interpret UR 3 irrationally.
If they made the change
them Leone’s book would take a different direction. He would not be supporting
the New Ecumenism. But then they would not allow him to be published.
Now he is a liberal- trad on
Vatican Council II. He interprets the Council like the liberals. Liberal trads
desert Tradition with their politically correct interpretation of the Council.
They are satisfied with the comfortable status quo and do not want to be
suspended or laicized.
They will not interpret LG
8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc as being in harmony with Tradition and
then ask Pope Francis to accept Vatican Council II and interpret it only
rationally.
The issue no more is
Vatican Council II per se.It is the Council being interpreted with the Rational
Premise (invisible people are invisible) or Irrational Premise (invisible people
are visible). So LG 8 etc are hypothetical cases only in 2023 or they are
objective cases, personally known non Catholics saved outside the Church,
without faith and the baptism of water in the present times. With this
irrationality LG 8 etcbecome practical exceptions for EENS and the rest of
Tradition.
Do we interpret the
baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance like Archbishop
Marcel Lefebvre or like Archbishop Thomas e Gullickson?
Are we Feeneyite like
Brother Thomas Augustine micm or Brother Andre Marie micm?
Are we liberal and
political apologists like Scott Hahn or rational and traditional apologists
like John Martignoni. The former is welcomed on liberal EWTN.- Lionel Andrades
