'This is the teaching of the Church'

So when someone tells you that being saved  with the baptism of desire  is a teaching of the Church, say,"Yes!-but it is not an exception to the dogma. Since no  Church text says it is and neither do we know of any such case in 2013".

It's usually said that 'This is the teaching of the Church', when they are  referring to popular opinion. If it is not there in the text of a magisterial document then it is not the teaching of the Catholic Church.

For example no magisterial document states invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire  are exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. They just mention these cases as possibilities. If there was such a case it would be known only to God.Since they are unknown to us reason tells us  that they are not exceptions to the dogma on salvation. We personally cannot see any case in 2013 saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism, of desire.

So there are no exceptions to  the dogma and the dogma is the official teaching of the Catholic  Church. It has not been retracted.

So when I say that all Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, Muslims, Christians and others need to formally enter the Catholic Church (with faith and baptism), I am referring to the official  teaching of the Catholic Church. It's offiical according to magisterial  texts, Scripture and the Magisterium of the past  popes, including that of Pope Benedict XVI (subsistit it).(1)It was supported by Pope Francis when he said that we cannot find Jesus outside the Catholic Church and he cited Pope Paul VI and St. Ignatius of Loyola.

So what is commonly said to be the teaching of the Church is not the teaching of the Church and the offiical teaching of the Church after  Vatican Council II is all need to enter the Church and there are no known exceptions.

So what the liberals, SSPX and sedevacantists consider the teaching of the Church, with reference to  Vatican Council II, is not the teaching of the Church. There are no rational magisterial texts to support their view. They assume Lumen Gentium 16 ( invincible ignorance)  refers to explicitly known cases  in 2013,  who are known exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus. For them this is the teaching of the Catholic Church which is based on an irrationaity i.e visible to us cases saved in invincible ignorance who are exceptions to the dogma.

So when someone tells you that being saved  with the baptism of desire  is a teaching of the Church, say,"Yes!-but it is not an exception to the dogma. Since no  Church text says its is an exception and neither do we know of any such case in 2013".

On June 29, 2007 the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, under the presidency of William Cardinal Levada signed an official document called "Responses to Some Questions Regarding Certain Aspects of the Doctrine on the Church".

IN REBELLION AGAINST POPE JOHN PAUL II A 'THEOLOGY OF RELIGIONS' DEPARTMENT HAS BEEN SET UP AT THE GREGORIAN UNIVERSITY,ROME

Programma degli Studi della Facoltà di MissiologiaThe Rector of the Gregorian University Fr.François-Xavier Dumortier is the pro- Dean of the new Theology of Religions department even though 'the theology of religions' was corrected by Pope John Paul II in the CDF Notification on Fr.Jacques Dupuis S.J (2001). (1)
The Jewish Left have got the 'spirit of Assisi' implemented in this Pontifical College and the Department of Missiology has a separate Department for the Theology of Religions which was being taught in defiance of Pope John Paul II. It is now out in the open .

The Director of the Dpartment of Missiology is Prof.essa Illaria Morali (Tel.: 06.6701.5555 - Fax: 06.6701.5166 E-mail: dip-missiologia@unigre.it  ). The Director of the Department of the Theology of Religions, is Fr.Bryam Lobo S.J Tel.: 06.6701.5508 E-mail: dip-teolrel@unigre.it  - bryanlobo@unigre.it

Non Catholic students can also attend and it is on the pattern of New Age Theology of Religion courses.

In Catholic theology there is no basis for a 'theology of religions' unless one assumes that there is known salvation outside the Catholic Church and so the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus is contradicted. This is the error made by the Secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith Vatican, Cardinal Luiz Ladaria S.J on the website of the International Theological Commission. The theology of religions also contradicts Vatican Council II which says all need faith and baptism for salvation(AG 7).

IV. On the orientation of all human beings to the Church
6. It must be firmly believed that the Church is sign and instrument of salvation for all people.[12] It is contrary to the Catholic faith to consider the different religions of the world as ways of salvation complementary to the Church.[13]
7. According to Catholic doctrine, the followers of other religions are oriented to the Church and are all called to become part of her.[14]
