Classical Catholic Schools Planned for the Archdiocese of Detroit

Intriguing news for Latin Mass-going parents of school-age children: Archdiocese of Detroit Schools Superintendent Kevin Kijewski has announced plans to open a school offering a Classical Catholic curriculum, this coming fall, 2019. He is being advised and assisted in this effort by Oakland County Latin Mass Association Chaplain Msgr. Ronald Browne, who also serves as the Judicial Vicar for the Archdiocese. The schools will be open to Catholic families from our entire region, including those from the Dioceses of Lansing and London, Ontario.





A “Classical Catholic” curriculum consists of an emphasis on Latin, traditional art and sacred music, the classics of literature, Catholic virtue, and philosophy and theology. Our Faith will be taught in its entirety; there will be no concerns over subjects being watered down for political correctness.

Lionel: Since it has to be accredited in Detroit the theology has to be Cushingite and not Feeneyite . So the teachers and pupils will interpret Vatican Council II and extra ecclesiam nulla salus with Cushingism. This is presently approved by the USCCB for all schools.The Jewish Left does not allow any other option.

So this school will be another version of the St. Thomas More College of Liberal Arts in New Hampshire, USA.

The philosophy and theology will not be traditional and neither Catholic.

Professors Robert Fastiggi, Ralph Martin and Phillip Blosser at the Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Detroit, USA agree with me when I say that there are no objective cases  of non Catholics saved outside the Catholic Church in 2019. This is something obvious.Even there has been no contradiction from the Rector of the seminary Msgr.Todd Lajiness,whom I e-mailed these blog posts sometime back. It is the same with canonist Ed Peters and the other professors there.

Even here in Rome, the SSPX Prior, at Albano, Italy agreed that there are no known cases of the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and being saved in invincible ignorance in 2019.He said that this was something obvious.It can only be known to God.

Vatican Council II does not contradict the 'rigorist interpretation' of EENS. So why does the CDF and Bishop Libasci ask Brother Andre Marie to reject the strict interpretation of EENS?

Vatican Council II does not contradict what the secular media calls 'the rigorist interpretation' of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS). So why is the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith(CDF) and the Diocese of Manchester, USA asking Brother Andre Marie MICM, Prior of the St. Benedict Center, New Hampshire, to reject the strict interpretation of EENS?

The Catechism of the Catholic Church(846) mentions Ad Gentes 7 which states all need faith and baptism for salvation.While CCC 847-848 do not mention any objective exceptions to CCC 846 in the present times (2019).BOD, BOB and I.I are not objective exceptions to Feeneyite EENS.1

Vatican Council II was dogmatic and not just pastoral.

Similarly when CCC 846 says all who are saved are saved through Jesus and the Church, it is referring to the hypothetical cases of BOD, BOB and I.I and also the dogma EENS.BOD,BOB and I.I can only be hypothetical cases for us human beings . So they do not contradict EENS or Ad Gentes 7.

Outside the Church there is no known salvation and there are only Catholics in Heaven is the message of the Catechism of the Catholic Church(846) and Vatican Council II(AG 7, LG 14).

Yet the CDF and Bishop Peter Libasci, Bishop of Manchester,USA do not clarify and respond to this issue.Neither do they correct their mistake.

Why should the Curia  and the lay prayer groups and organisations in Manchester or Boston, interpret Vatican Council II as a rupture with the past exclusivist ecclesiology of the Catholic Church ? Why should they be a break with the theology of the popes and saints over the centuries?

No one from the Charismatic Renewal Movement in the Diocese of Manchester, doctrinally and theologically, supports Bishop Libasci and his Judical Vicar.

They are all really saying that in Heaven there are only Catholics according to Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

BOD, BOB and I.I were only theoretical and speculative cases for the popes and saints over the centuries.

They could not be objective people . This is common sense. It is something obvious.

Instead of seeing through this error, a New Theology was unfortunately created in 1949 and it was repeated in 1965. The New Theology suggests there is salvation outside the Church. It assumes there are personally known people saved outside the Church. This is also the mistake the traditionalists make when they interpret Vatican Council II.

So the understanding of the Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed and the Athanasius Creed has changed.The old catechisms contradict each other , The Syllabus of Errors has become obsolete.Yet this new understanding and interpretation of Magisterial documents was the false narrative maintained by the popes, cardinals and bishops after 1949.It is an objective mistake and so cannot be magisterial.The Holy Spirit cannot make a mistake.
Even Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre  and the traditionalists of his time,  made the same mistake.
The Society of St. Pius X(SSPX) and the SSPX(Resistance) today use the New Theology to interpret Vatican Council II as a rupture with EENS.They can now simply announce that the Council does not contradict extra ecclesiam nulla salus and that Fr.Leonard Feeney was correct and the popes and cardinals were wrong.
The same announcement can be made by the sedevacantist communities of Bishop Donald Sanborn and Mark Pivarunas. They can also admit that they slandered Fr. Leonard Feeney of Boston.

Both Archbishop Morandi and  Archbishop Di Noia, Secretaries of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF), Vatican, agree that they do not know any one saved in 2019 saved with the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood (BOB) and invincible ignorance(I.I). They personally do not know any one already saved outside the Catholic Church nor someone who will be saved as such.This can only be known to God. So there are no exceptions to Ad Gentes 7 and Lumen Gentium 14 saying all need faith and baptisms for salvation. There are also no exceptions mentioned to the dogma EENS and the Catechism of Pope Pius X which tells us that all need to be members of the Catholic Church for salvation.

We all now know that LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc do not refer to personally known non Catholics in 2019 saved outside the Catholic Church,without 'faith and baptism'(AG 7, LG 14).

So the CDF can announce that personally invisible cases of BOD, BOB and I.I in the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 do not contradict Feeneyite EENS. The New Theology is created upon this mistake.

BOD, BOB and I.I  should not have been mentioned in Vatican Council II (AG 7, LG  14) with reference  to all needing  faith and baptism for salvation.

Now after 50 years the CDF and the cardinals and bishops  can change the narrative on Vatican Council II. The Polish Bishops's Conference could announce that they affirm the strict interpretation of the dogma EENS in harmony with Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. So there is no new ecumenisn, new evangelisation and new ecclesiology based upon personally known non Catholics saved  without Catholic Faith, which include the Sacraments and the Church's traditional teachings on faith and morals.There can be no known salvation outside the Church for us human beings and so LG 8, LG 16, UR 3, GS 22 and BOD, BOB and I.I are not exceptions to the traditional interpretation of EENS as it was known to the missionaries and Magisterium of the 16th century.They must be read as just being hypothetical and speculative cases.

March 19 is the anniversary of a time when Catholic women of Brazil picked up their most powerful weapon—the rosary—and drove communism from their country.  

In 1964, the oppressive President Joao Goulart had appointed many communists to positions of leadership. Humble, faithful women understood the power of the Blessed Mother’s intercession and formed rosary groups. They showed up at political rallies and drown out speakers by loudly praying the rosary. 

The event which took place on March 13 in the city of Belo Horizonte during a communist rally was written about in Father Donald Calloway’s newest book,  10 Wonders of the Rosary. President Goulart had orchestrated a rally there, calling for a communist revolution in Brazil. The archbishop of Rio de Janeiro, Cardinal de Barros Camara, went on national radio pleading with people to live the Fatima message in order to overcome the communist threat.  

“President Goulart was so enraged by the archbishop’s message that he insulted the people of Brazil in a public speech and ridiculed the rosary, saying that it was the communist ideas that would reform and save Brazil, not the rosaries of simple women,” Father Calloway explained.

Those were fighting words that fired up the prayer warriors. They showed up to the rally in Belo Horizonte which was led by the president’s brother-in-law and expected to be the biggest one yet,  

Father Calloway wrote: “As it was taking place, more than 20,000 women marched into the streets with rosaries in their hands to engage in spiritual battle! The marched right into the midst of the communist rally and prayed the rosary so loudly that they shut it down.”

Six days later, on March 19, more than 600,000 people marched through the streets of Sao Paolo praying the rosary. It was called the “March of the Family with God toward Freedom.” Even non-Catholics joined in. 

Within two weeks on April 1, a military coup deposed President Goulart who then fled the country. In thanksgiving for the victory, the people of Brazil organized another march in gratitude to Our Lady and her rosary. It was held the very next day, April 2, through the streets of Rio de Janeiro and called the “March of Thanksgiving to God.” Over one million people participated.

POLISH BISHOPS REJECT LGBT+ DECLARATION

WARSAW, Poland (ChurchMilitant.com) - The Polish bishops are condemning a charter that claims to introduce protections for "LGBT rights" but instead proposes discrimination against those that are not supportive of it, pushing immoral and unchaste sexual education to children.

Aimed at implementing anti-discrimination measures and introducing sexual education that complies with the World Health Organization (WHO) standards, Warsaw's mayor, Rafał Trzaskowski, signed the "LGBT+ Declaration," in February.

In 2016, Poland has been accused by the European Union's Commission for Human Rights of violating women's human rights. A report by Nils Muižnieks, the commissioner of the European Council for Human Rights, focused mainly on Poland's limits on abortion and access to contraception. The report also demanded compulsory sexual education, in accordance with EU standards. 

The WHO's sex-ed program is a "comprehensive sexuality education," and it describes it as a "continuing education process that starts at an early age." Not only is this program aimed at educating children on all aspects of sexuality and sexual behavior, but they also include lessons that analyze how well abortion and gender identity are accepted legally and culturally.

The entire program presupposes abortion and contraception as basic human rights. 

In response to the declaration, the Polish Bishops' Conference released a lengthy statement of 11 points blasting the "so-called LGBT Charter" and calling for its withdrawal.

Church Militant spoke with Jan Franczak, a Catholic and translator of numerous books, who said Warsaw's mayor has promised to make Warsaw "tolerant" and noted, "He's doing it." 

Trzaskowski's deputy mayor, Pawel Rabiej, is an active homosexual living in a same-sex "marriage" with Michał Cessanis. Franczak noted that the homosexual lobby is very active and keeps attacking from all sides and perspectives. A new pro-homosexual political party, Wiosna, was recently started in Poland.

The opposition to the LGBT+ Declaration was painted by the U.S. News as a political move by Poland's Law and Justice Party (PiS) to retain their popularity.

"PiS has targeted LGBT rights as it strives to reverse a decline in popularity amid corruption allegations against financial regulators and questions about party chief Jaroslaw Kaczynski's business dealings, among other things," according to the U.S. News report.

Franczak disagreed with the U.S. Newsreport saying, "It was the parents and pro-family organizations that reacted first to the 'LBGT+ Declaration.'"

It was only after that the PiS Party and the Polish Bishops' Conference spoke out against it. 

"The most dangerous aspect of the declaration is spoiling the children," Franczak said.

In the bishops' statement, they first acknowledged their position is not a "lack of respect for the dignity" of LGBT people, but borne out of concern "for the common good of the whole society, and especially for the respect of the rights of parents and children."

The Church does not use the name LGBT.

In a move that is likely to raise the ire of the pro-homosexual lobby, the bishops refused to use the term "LGBT."

"The Church does not use the name LGBT, because in it itself is contained in the questioning the Christian vision of man," the bishops stated. 

They explained that the proposed alternative vision does not agree with the truth about human nature and refers only to "imaginary ideological ideas."

Further, they caution against the acceptance of gender ideology as a society, saying, "Not only are they completely alien to European civilization, but if they were to become the basis of social norms, they would be a threat to the future of our continent."
