Wikipedia’s entries cause confusion

 

Wikipedia’s entries on extra ecclesiam nulla salus, Fr. Leonard Feeney, Vatican Council II etc are causing a lot of confusion for the Catholic Church. Since Wikipedia interprets Vatican Council II with Cushingism and not Feeneyism, with the irrational and not rational premise. In the same way they interpret the baptism of desire and invincible ignorance irrationally and not rationally. This is political. It is also unethical.- Lionel Andrades

The Latin Mass does not unite. We can interpret Vatican Council II like Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre or Archbishop Thomas E. Gullickson, like traditionalist Brother Thomas Augustine micm or Brother Andre Marie micm.

Neither does Holy Mass in the vernacular unite. We can interpret Lumen Gentium 14 (baptism of desire) and Lumen Gentium 16 (invincible ignorance) like Scott Hahn or John Martignoni and the conclusion will be non-traditional or traditional respectively.Both attend the same Mass in English.

 We can interpret Vatican Council II ( LG 14, LG 16 etc) like the Benedictine Fr.Stephen Visintin osb, former Rector and Dean of Theology at the University of St. Thomas Aquinas, or , like Cardinal Arthur Roche, Andrea Grillo and the present rector and dean of theology at St. Anselm and the conclusion will be radically different.- Lionel Andrades

Brother Thomas Augustine micm, Superior of the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, St. Benedict Center, Still River, MA, USA will apply to the Dicastery for Divine Worship, Vatican. He will ask for permission for his religious community, to offer the Latin Mass. He affirms the strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) but at the same time contradicts EENS with Vatican Council II interpreted irrationally. He interprets the Council like the main line Church in Massachusetts.

The bishop of Worcester, where the St. Benedict Center is situated does not affirm the strict interpretation of EENS, like Brother Thomas Augustine. The bishop also accepts Vatican Council II interpreted irrationally.

So far there has been no problem with the Latin Mass.

The other St. Benedict Center, in Richmond, New Hampshire has its chapel closed. The  the Latin Mass is not permitted there.

The priests at the SBC in Still River, MA, do not affirm Vatican Council II, rational. So for Brother Thomas Augustine the SBC could be permitted to have the Latin Mass at their community chapel, as normal.

If Brother Thomas Augustine interpreted the baptism of desire (BOD) and being saved in invincible ignorance(I.I) irrationally they would be denying the traditional, strict interpretation of EENS. Then there would be no Decree of Prohibitions issued against them. They could have the Latin Mass with no objections. They would be Cushingites and not Feeneyites and this is politically correct with the Dicastery.- Lionel Andrades

Sedevacantist priests with Bishop Donald Sanborn and Bishop Mark Pivarunas’ traditionalist communities can apply to the Dicastery for Divine Worship for permission to offer Mass in Latin, if they accept Pope Francis  as the pope and leave their sedevacantist communities. Since Vatican Council II is not an issue. They already interpret the Council irrationally like the FSSP and the ICKSP priests who offer the Latin Mass. If they were to interpret the Council rationally, permission would not be given to offer the Latin Mass.- Lionel Andrades

Fr.Francesco Giordano, the Director of the Human Life International Office, Rome, and professor of theology at the University of St.Thomas Aquinas, Rome, can apply to the Dicastery of Divine Worship  for permission to offer the Latin Mass . Since he interprets Vatican Council II irrationally and not rationally. So he changes the understanding of the Creeds, Catechisms and the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. In such a condition, in the 16th century, he would be excommunicated or considered an apostate and not allowed to offer Mass.-Lionel Andrades

Those communities/ priests who interpret  Vatican Council II rationally i.e. LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc  refer to only hypothetical cases, must not apply to the Dicastery for Divine Worship, Vatican, asking permission to offer the Latin Mass. It will not be granted.

Bishop Dominique Rey and Don Pietro Leone will be granted permission since they will interpret Vatican Council II irrationally like the liberals i.e. LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc refer to known non Catholics in 2023,  saved outside the Catholic Church, without faith and the baptism of water.

It is the same for being incardinated in Rome. If a priest affirms the strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and also Vatican Council II interpreted rationally i.e. LG 8, 14, 16 , UR 3 etc, are only hypothetical cases, then he will not be granted permission by the Rome Vicariate, to offer Holy Mass in Rome,

The issue is extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) which is not contradicted by invisible cases of LG 8, 14, 16 etc.Now the problem has been extended to Vatican Council II. The Council can be interpreted in harmony or as a rupture with EENS.

So think of many of the priests who will ask Cardinal Arthur Roche and his Dicastery, permission to offer the Latin Mass and this will be granted to them since they will interpret the Creeds irrationally. Thousands of priests are already doing this at Mass in the vernacular.This is even though they can interpret the Council rationally at Mass in French for example.This was the situation in Dijon, France when Bishop Minnerath asked the FSSP to leave. No one asked the bishop and the diocesan priests in Dijon to interpret the Council rationally at the Novus Ordo Mass. This was the ethical thing to do.

Cardinal Raymond Burke offers the Latin Mass with Vatican Council II and the Creeds interpreted irrationally and Cardinal Walter Kasper does the same in German.

If Bishop Georg Batzing interpreted Vatican Council II and EENS rationally it would mean the has resigned from the German Synodal Way. There would be no development of doctrine and dogma. Since the theology would not be there any more for the change.It is only with the False Premise ( invisible cases of LG 8, 14 and 16 etc are physically visible in 2023), there can be a New Theology. It says outside the Catholic Church there is known salvation in the present times and so the dogma EENS, the Athanasius Creed and the Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius IX are obsolete.

The Latin Mass Societies and the Federation International Una Voce (FIUV) officially interpret Vatican Council II irrationally like the English bishops. They are liberals. So they will be granted permission by the Dicastery.

The Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate will have to interpret Vatican Council II irrationally and accept the non-traditional conclusion. They may not be given permission by the Dicastery to offer Mass in Latin. The community of Fr. Stefano Manelli fi, may not even be given permission by the local bishops to offer Mass in the vernacular.

The religious communities can affirm Vatican Council II and Tradition. While the cardinals and bishops will not be rejecting the Athanasius Creed, the Syllabus of Errors and put Catechisms contravening Canon Law.

The Franciscans of the Immaculate and the Comitato dell Immaculata could ask Bishop Gino Reali, the bishop of Porta Santa Rufina, Rome, where the Franciscan seminary and former parish  is located in Boccea, Rome, to interpret Vatican Council II ethically, interpret the Creeds and Catechisms honestly and permit the Latin Mass  there, as before. Also the popes must be told that at Mass in Italian, Church Documents (Creeds, Catechisms etc) to interpret rationally. I would like to assist the Comitato dell Immaculata as a resource person, free of charge. The Vatican must be reminded of their moral responsibility. The Council must be interpreted correctly and not politically. Then the Latin Mass is not the same. It has the same ecclesiology as the Novus Ordo Mass. -Lionel Andrades
