All the Vatican websites which refer to Vatican Council II are obsolete now. They require an overhauling. They have interpreted LG 8,14,15,16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22, as referring to physically visible cases, examples of salvation outside the Catholic Church in the present times (1965-2023) so the past ecclesiocentrism was made obsolete.

There was ‘a development of doctrine’ with the irrational interpretation of LG 8, 14, 15, 16 etc. Now we know that LG 8 etc refer to only hypothetical cases. So Vatican Council II is not a break with Tradition. The 1949 Letter of the Holy Office to the Archbishop of Boston made an objective mistake and the popes overlooked it and so did the Council Fathers at Vatican Council II (1965).   - Lionel Andrades
