Holy Office 1949 made a mistake : good Catholics are finding this hard to accept

We have to remember that we human beings cannot see the dead who are now in Heaven or Hell. The dead are not physically visible to us on earth.
So if your brother, sister, uncle, aunt, faither or mother said that they could see the dead who are in heaven and that all of us can do the same of course you would not believe them.
Similarly if a cardinal or pope said that we humans can see the dead who are now saved in heaven you would reject it.
If a priest or bishop said he and all humans could physically see the dead in Heaven it would have to be rejected.
So when the Holy Office 1949 inferred in the Letter to the Archbishop of Boston relative to Fr.Leonard Feeney that the deceased-saved were visible and these visible cases were exceptions to all needing the baptism of water for salvation- you reject it.
Since we cannot see the dead-saved in Heaven.
Similarly if Pope Pius XII or Pope Francis made this irrational statement it would br rejected. Since it is common knolwedge that the deceased are not visible on earth.
When  Roberto de Mattei says the deceasd non Catholic, saved with ' a ray of the Truth'(NA 2) etc is an exception to extra ecclesiam nulla salus-you reject it.We do not know any suh case in 2014 saved with 'a ray of the Truth'.This is common knowledge and not an opinion or theology.
So where is the exception in Vatican Counhcil II to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the Syllabus of Errors and the Catechism of Pope Pius XII ? Unless of course you can see the dead saved in invincible ignorance(LG 16) there are no exceptions.Unless you assume invisible for us cases are visible in real life, Vatican Council II does not contradict Tradition.
The Vatican Council II criticized by the traditionalists is the one in which it is assumed that the deceased- saved are visible to us on earth. Many traditionalists know Vatican Council II ( with the false premise)  is a break with Tradition but they do not know that the exact cause is.It is using the false premise. It is  assuming that the dead- saved are visible exceptions to Tradition.
Roberto de Mattei, the SSPX bishops and priests do not want to say that they were always wrong about Vatican Council .Neither do they want to affirm the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. They would rather say like the liberals that Vatican Council II is a break with extra ecclesiam nulla salus. On Vatican Council II they use the same reasoning as the progressivists.
The Holy Office 1949 made a mistake. Cardinal Marchetti-Selvaggiani who issued the Letter of the Holy Office assumed we could see the dead saved in invincible ignorance or implicit desire. Then he assumed that these visible cases were defacto exceptions to the literal interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus according to Fr.Leonard Feeney.
Good Cathollics are finding it hard to accept that the Holy Office made a mistake.

COLONNA DELLA MANO SINISTRA    o COLLONA DELLA MANO DESTRA
implicita                                                  o esplicita per noi.
ipotetica                                                  o conosciuto nella realtà.
invisibile                                                  o visibile nella carne.
de jure (in linea di principio)                    o de facto (di fatto).
soggettivo                                                o oggettivo.

COLONNA DELLA MANO SINISTRA o COLLONA DELLA MANO DESTRA
implicita                                                o esplicita per noi.
ipotetica                                                o conosciuto nella realtà.
invisibile                                                o visibile nella carne.
de jure (in linea di principio)                  o de facto (di fatto).
soggettivo                                              o oggettivo.
Provare!

USCCB Secretariate for Divine Worship statement is heresy

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB)Secretariate for Divine Worship Associate Director issued a statement yesterday being unaware that it is was heresy, irrational and a new doctrine. It is a common error made by most Catholics. They are unaware of it. I don't think there is any  ill will intended.
Fr.Dan Merz, Associate Director, Secretariate of Divine Worship,USCCB in a letter issued yesterday implies that being saved in invincible ignorance or the baptism of desire is physically visible in the present times. So all people defacto do not have to enter the Catholic Church for salvation.

This was the error made by Jem Sullivan's video reflection on the USCCB  Daily Mass Readings. She presented Jesus without the necessity of entering the Catholic Church formally for salvation. This is the standard policy of the USCCB and the Vatican. It is a rejection of extra ecclesiam nulla salus because of alleged visibly known cases in the present time who do not defacto need the baptism of water.
Fr.Dan Merz cites the Catechism of the Catholic Church 1260 and infers that the person saved in invincible ignorance, who has not heard the Gospel through no fault of his own, is not a hypothetical posibility but an actual defacto known case in 2014. So for him too this is an exception to all needing the baptism of water for salvation in 2014.This case would have to be visible and known to him, to be an exception.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church  says that the Church knows of no means to eternal beatitude other than the baptism of water (1257) and also mentions that God is not limited to the Sacraments. Fr.Dan Merz implies that those who are saved without Sacramental Baptism ( if this is possible) are explicit, known in the flesh exceptions to all needing the baptism of water in the present times. This is irrational. These cases are known only to God.The deceased-saved are not visible to us.They cannot be objective exceptions to the literal and traditional interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus which the USCCB does not affirm.

This is not only a factual error of the Secretariate for Divine Worship it is also a first class heresy in the hierarchy of truths of Pope John Paul II. The meaning of the Nicene Creed has been changed. The prayer refers to ' one baptism for the forgiveness of sin' and not three. For the USCCB it is ' I believe in three known baptisms for the forgiveness of sin ( water, desire and blood)'.This is false. Since there is only one known baptism for the forgivness of sins for us humans. It is the baptism of water. The baptism of desire is not visible to us and the baptism of blood can only be judged by God. The baptism of desire and blood are not defacto, known baptisms. We cannot meet someone on the street who we know has been saved or will be saved with the baptism of desire or blood. We cannot meet any 'exception'.We cannot name any one who is an 'exception'  to all needing the baptism of water to go to Heaven and to avoid Hell.

This is also heresy because  it is a denial of the thrice defined dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus which Pope Pius XII called an 'infallible teaching'. It was a teaching of the Extraordinary Magisterium of three Church Councils and is de fide and binding on all Catholics.

IWe have here also a rejection of Vatican Council II ( Ad Gentes 7) which says all need faith and baptism for salvation.Fr.Dan Merz implies some people do not need faith and baptism in the present times. He also implies that there is known salvation outside the visible limits of the Church.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church (846) cites Ad Gentes 7 under the sub title Outside the Church No Salvation. The USCCB instead is saying outside the Church there is salvation and infers that there are such cases known to them in the present times. This is a contradiiction of Dominus Iesus 20 which says even though there is universal salvation, which is available for all people, in potential, all need to enter the Church for salvation. The USCCB is saying that this is not true.

St. Catherine of Siena on the Indwelling of the Holy Trinity in our souls

This if from day 222, The Trinity Within Us:

O Eternal Trinity, One God, One in essence and Three in Persons, You created man to Your image, so that by the three powers of his own soul he would resemble Your Trinity and Unity. [St. Gemma Galgani said that she could not imagine that a God Who created us in His Image would not want us to have Him for our highest end] Through this likeness he is united with You; that is, by His memory, he is joined to and resembles the Father, to whom power is attributed; by his intellect, he resembles and is united to the Son, to whom wisdom is attributed; by his will, he resembles and becomes one with the Holy Ghost, the love of the the Father and the Son, to whom mercy is attributed. [I tell you, one could meditate on the nature of the Holy Ghost for a lifetime and not begin to plumb the depths of the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity]
thCAFYZ8Z3O Father, grant that I may unite my memory to You by always remembering that You are the beginning from which all things proceed. O Son, unite my intellect to Yours and grant that I may perfectly judge all things according to the order established by Your wisdom. O Holy Spirit, grant that I may unite my will to You by loving perfectly that mercy and love which are the reason for my creation and for every Grace given to me, without any merit on my part. [All we can do is cooperate with Grace. As Our Blessed Lord said, "Without Me, you can do nothing." (St. John, XV:15) And, "when you have done all you are required to do, say, we are unprofitable servants." (St. Luke XVII:10)]
O mighty, Eternal Trinity, may You be thanked for all the love You have shown us in forming and sweetly endowing our soul with its powers; an intellect to know You, a memory to remember You, a will to love You above all things! saint catherine of sienna small It is reasonable that knowing You, O Infinite Goodness, I would love You; and this love is so strong that neither the devil nor any other creature can take it from me against my will.
O power of the Eternal Father, help me; wisdom of the Son, illumine the eye of my intellect; sweet mercy and love of the Holy Ghost, inflame my heart and unite it to Yourself.
O Eternal Trinity, my sweet Love, You Who are Light, give me light; You Who are Wisdom, give me wisdom; O supreme Fortitude, give me strength. O Eternal God, You are the calm ocean where souls dwell and are nourished, and where they find their rest in the union of love.
————–End Quote————–
I really need to study St. Catherine more. I’ve read several good biographies of the Saint, but I have only slightly delved into her voluminous writings. Her Dialogue is very deep, I can say that much.
Oh St. Catherine, pray for us poor, timid, weak souls! We are so easily lost and distracted! We continually place our will before God’s! Pray that the Lord have mercy on us, and that your prayers above may truly always be on our lips and in our heart!
