There is a rupture between faith and reaoson at the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, New Hampshire : the President does not deny it in specific points

A Message from the President of the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts (with comments).
  illuminat hominem, ut seipsum agnoscat.
Wisdom illuminates man so that he may recognize himself.
So wrote Hugh of St. Victor in his twelfth-century guide to learning, the Didascalicon. Thus, wisdom is sought in every discipline and through every discipline so that man might know not simply the art which he studies but, through the art, himself. To attain wisdom is the goal of all disciplined education. This remark, of course, echoes down the centuries the adage written on the tripod of the oracle at Delphi: “know thyself.” When we read Hugh and think about this more ancient saying, we are left with further questions: how does man know himself? Why does he wish to know? How does he know himself or his world with surety? How can he take rest that any of his knowledge is free from error, false opinion or change?
A liberal education aims to free men and women from the constraints of error, false opinion, and—as much as possible—the flux and change of the age. This was at the heart of the great Greek educational system—paideia—the education that freed the minds of the young by giving them a sense of the order that the mind could attain and the principles by which ideas could be presented and shared. Wisdom and eloquence in this sense remain the heart of a Thomas More education.
From pagan antiquity we learn the care with which we must examine all of our knowledge, not merely as it relates to the world around us, but as it relates to us, to our own lives. Without careful examination, we do not know the origins of our own thoughts. Without the knowledge that comes from such an examination, we have no hope of self-mastery; we remain slaves of the thoughts of others.
Thomas More College gazes with confidence at the heights which reason can ascend. Yet it understands too that the climb is arduous and requires something more than mere status or talent. It requires a path, a path-finder, companions, and—crucially—the desire to make the journey.
The path is the Catholic tradition. At Thomas More College, student and teacher strive together within a single tradition—the great intellectual tradition of the West, of the Catholic Church, of our civilization.
Lionel:Catholic Tradition affirmed the strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).It is deception now to suggest that invisible cases of the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and being saved in invincible ignorance(I.I) are objective exceptions. To continue to do so even after being informed would be unethical.
The President and the Faculty at TMC have not affirmed the strict interpretation of the dogma EENS and nor have they said that BOD, BOB and I.I refer to only hypothetical cases and so are not practical exceptions to the traditional teaching on all needing to be members of the Catholic Church for salvation.(Catechism of Pope Pius X, Vatican Council II(Ad Gentes 7),Catechism of the Catholic Church ( CCC 846 citing Ad Gentes 7 on Outside the Church No Salvation etc.)
So TMC rejects Catholic Tradition even after being informed, students must know. There is no denial from them on this point.

In a poem on fallen Spartan warriors, the poet Simonides wrote,
These were men, and though they crown their
Homeland with an imperishable crown,
They entered the dark cloud of death.
Though dead, they are not dead;
From on high their virtues raise
Them from the dead, from out of the depth.
“Though dead, they are not dead…” Like all powerful literature, this remark casts light upon our own experience making it more intelligible to us. Who has not lost a friend or a family member? Yet we know the lasting impact that these fallen have. Though absent their presence abides, and often becomes more vivid. Spiritually, we see this in the communion of the saints. In literature and history, we know that our hearts are moved upon hearing or remembering the graces, virtues, and sacrifices of the “fallen.” This is what a tradition brings us to encounter: those who are past and gone, yet not gone. It does not turn from the dark and deeper questions of our humanity, but it always reminds us that there on the heights is greatness to be met for our guidance and inspiration.
As a Catholic institution, Thomas More College is able to participate in a tradition which does not leave reason to stand cold and alone.
Lionel: A Catholic institution cannot interpret BOD, BOB and I.I as referring to known non Catholics saved outside the Church. For them the Catechism of Pope Pius X ( invincible ignorance) would contradict the Syllabus of Errors( ecumenism of return). This is not Catholic.
Also invisible cases of LG 8, LG 16 etc mentioned in Vatican Council II, would wrongly be considered a rupture with the Syllabus of Errors on no salvation outside the Church. This is doctrinal chaos.

“The Church’s mission, in fact, involves her in humanity’s struggle to arrive at truth. In articulating revealed truth she serves all members of society by purifying reason, ensuring that it remains open to the considerations of ultimate truths.”
Lionel: Truth is not served when the Nicene Creed is changed with a false premise (invisible people are visible) and false inference( I believe in more then one known baptism for the forgiveness of sins, they are desire, blood and invincible ignorance and they exclude the baptism of water in the Catholic Church).
It is not the truth when the Athanasius Creed which says outside the Church there is no salvation, is not affirmed.Instead the teaching at TMC is outside the Church there is salvation.
It is not the truth when the faulty teach that the Holy Spirit guides the Catholic Church ( Apostles Creed) to say that there is salvation outside the Church, there is known salvation outside the Church. So this is the reasoning to reject the traditional exclusivist understanding of salvation.

Thus, Pope Benedict reminded Catholic educators in America: the Church has a mission unique unto Her, but the scholar and student at a Catholic college participate in the larger ministry of truth (the diakonia of truth). The world suffers in the darkness of anxiety and grows weary or numb. For it does not know if it can speak of true things, of good things, of beauty. It fears that these are merely matters of perspective and taste. If that were to be true, then all would be illusion, a veil behind which lies only an eternal night.
Our great intellectual tradition anchored in revealed truth allows us to move forward toward all our questions and to provide an answer. The answer is the great love of God, the love for man and for all creation, the love that brought order to all and provokes the desire to ask and search for the truth. This is true wisdom. This is an intellectual love, a love that allows us to uphold an essential unity of knowledge against any attempts to shatter learning. Such a fragmentation is all too common amongst those who leave reason to move in darkness and without hope of an abiding truth and goodness in things.
Lionel: There is no new revealed truth. There is no new revelation in the Catholic Church. Yet the faculty at TMC will not interpret Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church(1994) in harmony with the Feeneyite interpretation of the dogma EENS. This is heretical as are the changes in the Creed. To offer/attend Holy Mass in this state is a sin, a mortal sin of faith. To knowingly do it after being informed is continuing the sacrilege.
Mass at TMC would in general be offered in sacrilege?
__________________________
In our tradition, faith comes forth to a great partnership with reason. It respects reason and often listens to reason. This is a great love between the two: reason sharpening the understanding of the faith, and faith providing the desire reason needs at times to move on towards what is unknown or unseen.
Lionel: How can TMC teach that unknown cases of BOD, BOB and I.I are known exceptions to EENS and the past exclusivist ecclesiology. This is rupture between faith and reason.Where are the practical exceptions to EENS in 2018 ? Who can see people in Heaven saved in invincible ignorance outside the Church ? This is a new faith. It is also irrational.

The Thomas More College of Liberal Arts was founded to provide on the undergraduate level a solid education in the liberal arts, a Catholic education for students of all faiths united in the quest for what is true, good, and beautiful. It pursues this mission by seeking wisdom and sharing it joyfully with the world.
Lionel: It may provide education for all faith and this is commendable how it needs to affirm the Catholic faith without a rupture between faith and reason, without a denial of faith-teachings which are obligatory for all Catholics to believe in, and without encouraging public heresy and sacrilege among Catholic students and faculty.

I encourage you to read through the sections of our website with leisure. I hope that what you find here provokes you to write to us and to visit. I hope most of all that your desire to know leads you to a deeper desire to know the Truth that is Jesus Christ, the eternal word of God and the source of all wisdom.
Lionel: Jesus Christ cannot be separated from the necessity of the Catholic Church for salvation(Dominus Iesus 20).Membership in the Catholic Church  is necessary for salvation and it must be proclaimed ( Ad Gentes 7). This is not being done at TMC and it does not show on the website too. This is not Catholic.

Summorum Pontificum was bait for the SSPX : they had to accept Vatican Council II with there being known salvation outside the Church

Summorum Pontificum was bait for the SSPX : they had to accept Vatican Council II with there being known salvation outside the Church

Pope Benedict issued Summorim Pontificum as bait for the Society of the St. Pius X(SSPX). He wanted them to accept Vatican Council II by wrongly assuming there was known salvation outside the Church.
He has been plugging this bad philosophy and theology for political reasons, since he was a young man.
He could have told the SSPX to come into the Church, accepting Vatican Council II without implying that there were people saved outside the Church who were nameable, see able and very real in the present times, since 1965.If he did so it would be the end of a life time's work in error and the Masons would come for him.
They  could have put pressure on him in March 2016( Avvenire), when he came out of the blues, saying that EENS today was no more like it was for the missionaries in the 16th century. He was trying to dupe us by saying that Vatican Council II (with known salvation outside the Church) created 'the development'( rupture with traditional EENS).
He was updating and consolidating his bad work in March 2016 by also saying there could no more be mission after Vatican Council II.Since if there was known salvation outside the Church why have Mission?

He was also still telling us that  every one had to interpret Vatican Council II as saying there is salvation outside the Church, even if this is the precise cause, of what he calls, 'the hermeneutic of rupture' with the past.
In other words hypothetical cases and speculative possibilities are examples of known salvation in the present times(2018).They are objectively seen Catholics saved outside the Church.
The irony is that even though the SSPX bishops and priests, generally, believe there is salvation outside the Church and they wrongly interpret Vatican Council II as a rupture with EENS, they did not fall for the ruse
However the traditionalists at the St. Benedict Center(SBC), and FSSP, caved in, in  exchange for official recognition.
The SBC condones the interpretation of Vatican Council II with known salvation outside the Church by their bishops in Worcester and Manchester, USA.
All the bishops in New England say there is salvation outside the Church even if they there are no such cases in real life and they know of no practical exceptions to EENS.
The SBC will still not interpret Vatican Council II knowing there is no salvation outside the Church.LG 8, LG 16 etc are examples of known non Catholics saved outside the Church, for these communities of Fr. Leonard Feeney. So in a vague way they reject and accept Vatican Council II.
The on line articles by Bro.Andre Marie MICM do not state that Vatican Council II is in harmony with EENS. Nor do they call the Council Feeneyite, since his theology is Cushingite.
All this has been a big help for Popes Benedict and Francis and the Prefect of the CDF, Cardinal Luiz Ladaria, since there is no one to tell them that Vatican Council II says there is no salvation outside the Church.
Fr. John Zuhlsdorf praises Summorum Pontificum and says BOD, BOB and I.I are exceptions to EENS.So he maintains that there is salvation outside the Church and offers the Latin Mass. His theology is a rupture with the 16th century.
So the Latin Mass today is not the Tridentine Latin Mass of the 16th century.
So Summorum Pontificum has given as the Latin Mass, which is a Novus Ordo Mass.It is not the 'Mass of the Ages'.The Mass of the Ages was Feeneyite. There was no salvation outside the Church for the Magisterium and missionaries in the 16th century.

Summorum Pontificum guaranteed that with the New Theology and New Ecclesiology intact, there would no more be  a Tridentine Rite Mass. The rubrics would be there but the theology and doctrines would be as heretical and non traditional, as Mass today in English or Italian.
So Catholics falsely project the Latin Mass today as being traditional. The Thomas More College of Liberal Arts in New Hampshire, USA has a traditio and Restoration section. At the same time they are associated with the liberal left at St.Benet's Hall,Oxford which supports the Latin Mass offered with Vatican Council II interpreted as a rupture with Tradition.

Fr.John Zuhlsdorf projects the vestments and rubrics of the Latin Mass but will not support the strict interpretation of EENS.He interprets Vatican Council II like the liberal Bologna School, with BOD, BOB and I.I being exceptions to Feeneyite EENS.

Rorate Caeli,  Angelus Press, Michael Matt, Chris Ferrara and others project the Latin Mass as if today it is the same Mass as in the 16th century. So in BOD, BOB and I.I there are practical exceptions to EENS for them, as it was for Archbishop Lefebvre when he offered the Mass in Latin and as it is for Pope Benedict when he offers Mass in Italian.- Lionel Andrades
