There is a fundamental mistake in the theology of Vatican Council II. We have to reconcile ourselves with this.The Council Fathers blew it.They made an elementary mistake violating the laws of physics.Upon a false premise and inference they created a new theology. Then the periti, after 1965, upheld the false narrative.Until today, it's all a secret for them, especially for Pope Benedict.
Pope Benedict is still hiding the truth.
This is another one of those stories, but a true one, whispered in the corridors of the Vatican.
Pope Benedict winked at his friends who pretended LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc in Vatican Council II, were objective exceptions, to the traditional teaching on exclusive salvation in the Church. They praised Pope Pius XII for criticizing Fr. Leonard Feeney's traditional interpretation of EENS. Even Cardinal Ottaviani and Archbishop Lefebvre were against the Jesuit priest- and so was Pope Paul VI.
But 50 years later, things don't seem so simple. It's a fact of life that there are no physically visible cases of the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and being saved in 'invincible ignorance through no fault of ones own'(I.I).
It is also a fact of life that there are no physically visible cases of LG 8, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc saved outside the Church in 2019.

Someone made a mistake.
Pope Paul VI was telling us that there was a New Theology which considered unknown cases of LG 8, LG 14,LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc as being known exceptions to traditional EENS. So EENS was made obsolete.The New Theology said outside the Church there is salvation. There were personally known non Catholics saved outside the Church.People allegedly saw them in Heaven without the baptism of water - and may even without Catholic faith!?This is how it was known on earth for those who saw people in Heaven, it was implied..
This is irrational but this was the official reasoning also of the popes.
Fr. Leonard Feeney's excommunication was still not lifted in 1965.He was saying that there are no practical exceptions to EENS. There were none in Boston, for him.
We now know that Pope Pius VI violated Newton's Laws on 'physical bodies'; matter, force etc by assuming there were physical bodies,real people, visible in time and space, saved outside the Church, as referred to in LG 8, LG 14, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc.
Duh!
This was wrong.There is no evidence for this observation of his.
Yet upon this irrationality the New Theology was created with its sisters New Ecclesiology, New Ecumenism, New Evangelisation etc, and Pope Benedict kept this all a secret.
So all those books you read on Vatican Council II make the same mistake as Pope Benedict.
Now before he dies, Pope Benedict is being called to confess his mistake and correct the error.Instead in an interview in Avvenire in 2016 he confirmed the mistake and blocked the truth being made public.
He announced that EENS today was no more like it was for the missionaries in the 16th century.In other words invisible cases of BOD, BOB and I.I were visible.He said there was ' a development' with Vatican Council II. In other words, unknown cases of LG 8, UR 3 etc were known and visible exceptions to EENS. There were 'physical bodies' in time(2016) and space for the popes since Paul VI,after Vatican Council.
So in the interview, he questioned the need for mission .Since there were visible cases of non Catholics saved outside the Church for him, people in Heaven without 'faith and baptism'(AG 7, LG 14).Why should non Catholics enter the Church was his reasoning.
This was the false interpretation of the Council he was still trying to sell to Catholics. He never gives up.
Now the writings on the wall.
He was no Catholic theologian.He mixed up what was not there was being there and made an objective mistake, contradicting fundamental laws of physics and reason.
Their mistake is all over the Council-text.
Why has Ad Gentes 7 to mention BOD and I.I with reference to all needing faith and baptism for salvation(AG 7) ?
Since for the periti BOD, BOB and I.I were exceptions to Feeneyite EENS. Practical exceptions- examples of salvation outside the Church. Literal cases on earth, known to people. Physical bodies in time and space.
Along with orthodox passages which support an ecumenism of return why does Unitatis Redintigratio mention being saved in 'imperfect communion with the Church' ?
Who are these Christians saved outside the Church? We do not know any one who is saved as such.We do not know any particular case.Again, 'physical bodies' in time and space , who are also allegedly in Heaven without Catholic faith.
See the pattern ?
Hypotheticals are confused as real people.Then they are projected as exceptions to the traditional ecclesiology. It is the same with Lumen Gentium, Gaudium et Specs etc.
Now with this big elephant in the living room what are Catholics to do?
Simple. Interpret LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc as hypothetical cases.They cannot be anything else.So there is no rupture with EENS according to the Magisterium of the 16th century.
So when the Jesuits in the Middle Ages affirmed the strict interpretation of EENS along with BOD, BOB and I.I , they knew that BOD, BOB and I.I were not exceptions to EENS.
So Vatican Council II today, with BOD, BOB and I.I would not contradict the strict interpretation of EENS.
But we have to concede that the experts at Vatican Council II, made an objective mistake. The New Theology is wet. It has holes.
Pope Benedict made a mistake in his theology and de railed theology in the Catholic Church. He needs to acknowledge it in public before he dies.-Lionel Andrades

Such a staggering thought.All those thousands of books, numerous, written on Vatican Council II have a major theological error. They should be thrown into the dustbin- O'Malley, Kasper, Faggioli,Gherardini,Mattei, Ferrara.They violate Newton's laws of physics and Aristotle's Principle of Non Contradiction.

The 16 books of Vatican Council II have an error. They violate the Principle of Non Contradiction. The Council Fathers misunderstood the laws of physics. They wrongly assumed the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and being saved in invincible ignorance(I.I) referred to physical bodies in time and space. They they created a new false theology based upon this irrationality. This cannot be magisterial but is human error. Since the Holy Spirit cannot make a factual and objective error.
