Indian delegate at CDF-FABC meeting in Thailand said non Christian religions are not paths to salvation

For Fr.Felix Machado the Catholic Church teaches that Judaism, Islam etc are not paths to salvation and their members need Catholic Faith and the Baptism of water to go to Heaven an avoid Hell, except for the exceptions, those in invincible ignorance etc. 1
Fr.Machado was the Indian delegate at the CDF-FABC conference held this month at the Bangkok Pastoral Center.Fr.Machado has served from 1999 to 2008 as Undersecretary in the Pontifical Council for Interreligious DialogueVatican. He chairs the of Office for Interreligious Dialogue of the Federation of Asian (Catholic) Bishops' Conferences (FABC); and Office for Interreligious Dialogue of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI) 2 He is now Archbishop Machado.

It was the first time ever that I walked into the new office of the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Inter Religious Dialogue (PCID) on the Via Cancelleria in front of St. Peter’s Basilica. It was a long time back.  I would meet an Indian priest and ask him two questions.3 This priest was Fr.Machado.He is now the Archbishop of Vasai, India. It was then that he told me that the Church teaches that other religions are not paths to salvation.

CDF- Asian Bishops conference in Thailand on new salvation doctrine and theology : implications for the SSPX

 https://eucharistandmission.blogspot.com/2019/01/cdf-asian-bishops-conference-in.html

How can we legally not be Catholic( for the leftist CDF) and still support traditional Catholic mission?

How can we legally not be Catholic( for the leftist CDF) and still support traditional Catholic mission?

It would be simple.Since the teachings of the Church on faith and morals have not changed. They cannot change.
Even if the present two popes are politically influenced(threathened) by the Left, Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church support the strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla  salus(EENS).The red passages are not exceptions to the blue. 1
So there is no change in magisterial documents. There is no new revelation in Vatican Council II when the red is not  an exception to the blue.
So we still invite people into the Catholic Church and tell them that membership in the Church is necessary; all need Catholic faith and the baptism of water.
But when they are in the Catholic Church they must interpret magisterial documents with the red not being an exception to the blue, even though the two popes do the opposite.
We are still Catholic and we support the hierarchical Church, the institution,  but avoid heresy and sacrilege.Even with the errors, the change in salvation theology and the new moral theology, this still is Jesus' Church. The Eucharist is valid, the Sacraments are valid, the Holy Mass is still the un-bloody Sacrifice of Jesus , re-enacted.
Tomorrow the Church may be forced to accept gay marriages in church and also abortion. We do not accept it , but we still stay in the Church.
Even when there is a schism, we still stay and support the Church, and personally affirm the traditional teachings on faith and morals, always interpreted with the red not being an excepton to the blue.
We know that Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow and so the teachings of the Catholic Church do not change. So even when there is a schism there is no change in our traditional beliefs, supported by Vatican Council II, the Catechism of the Catholic Church and Sacred Tradition.
So even when we are excommunicated for really being a Catholic, in our heart and actions, we still choose to remanin Catholic.
Since if we are legally not Catholics, for the CDF, then neither were the majority of the past popes and saints. Then neither were the Council Fathers, Catholic at Vatican Council II, when the Council is interpreted with the red not being an exception to the blue.
We know that the popes and saints are part of the Church Triumphant, even if they are not Catholic for the CDF. In Heaven there are only Catholics, who are there with faith and baptism(Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II).
Today the CDF has approved mission assuming there is known salvation outside the Church.
Those Catholics who say that there is no known salvation outside the Church, which is something obvious-it is common sense since we cannot see people in Heaven - will be legally told by the CDF, not to call themselves Catholic.
They will be called traditionalists even though many of them affirm Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church which also say that all need faith and baptism for salvation and so there are only Catholics in Heaven.

In Magisterial documents the red is not an exception to the blue, the red does not contradict the blue : with the blue there is a hermeneutic of continuity with Tradition (16th - century extra ecclesium nulla salus, the Syllabus of Errors, ecumenism of return, past exclusivist ecclesiology etc)

CDF- Asian Bishops conference in Thailand on new salvation doctrine and theology : implications for the SSPX

The Congregation for the the Doctrine of the Faith(CDF)  delegation at the meeting with the Asian Bishops this month in Thailand, has re-interpreted Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. So Catholic salvation theology has been changed. They have created a new Christian theology of religious pluralism and salvation. The Society of St.Pius X(SSPX) will have to accept all this. Then they can get canonical recognition or legally be declared not being Catholic.
The SSPX will have to continue to interpret the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and invincible ignorance(I.I) as referring to personally known non Catholics saved outside the Church and so they are practical examples  of exceptions to the strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS). They are already doing this.
They will also have to continue to interpret invisible and hypothetical cases,in Vatican Council II (LG 8 etc) as referring to personally known non Catholics saved outside the Church in 2019. So Vatican Council II emerges as a rupture with EENS, as it was known in the 16th century.Generally the SSPX bishops and priests  are already doing this.
The SSPX Superior General Fr. Davide Pagliarani, is not allowed to affirm Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church as I do.Since then the Council and Catechism would be in harmony with the past ecclesiology. This can be done simply by avoiding the irrational premise. But they do not interpret magisterial documents as I do. So this is another positive point in the SSPX, for the CDF.
However since they interpret hypothetical cases ( BOD, BOB and I.I/LG 8,LG 16, UR 3 etc) as being objective exceptions to EENS they will have changed the interpretation of the Catechism of Pope Pius X.They will be irrationally interpreting the Catechism of Pope Pius X.Number 16 Q would be contradicted by 29Q ( visible cases of non Catholics saved in invincible ignorance).
Also 29Q would contradict 27Q.
It would be in conflict with 8 and 9 Q ( see below).
But if 29Q refers to only hypothetical cases, theoretical possibilities only and not objectively known people, there is no conflict. There is no confusion.

FROM THE CATECHISM OF POPE PIUS X

16 Q. Is Baptism necessary to salvation?
A. Baptism is absolutely necessary to salvation, for our Lord has expressly said:
"Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into
the Kingdom of God."

29 Q. But if a man through no fault of his own is outside the Church, can he be saved?
 A. If he is outside the Church through no fault of his, that is, if he is in good faith, and if he has received Baptism, or at least has the implicit desire of Baptism; and if, moreover, he sincerely seeks the truth and does God's will as best he can such a man is indeed separated from the body of the Church, but is united to the soul of the Church and consequently is on the way of salvation.

27 Q. Can one be saved outside the Catholic, Apostolic and Roman Church?
A. No, no one can be saved outside the Catholic, Apostolic Roman Church,
just as no one could be saved from the flood outside the Ark of Noah,
which was a figure of the Church.

Q. What is the Catholic Church?
A. The Catholic Church is the Union or Congregation of all the baptised who, still living on earth, profess the same Faith and the same Law of Jesus Christ, participate in the same Sacraments, and obey their lawful Pastors, particularly the Roman Pontiff.

Q. State distinctly what is necessary to be a member of the Church?
A. To be a member of the Church it is necessary to be baptised, to believe and
profess the teaching of Jesus Christ, to participate in the same Sacraments, and
to acknowledge the Pope and the other lawful pastors of the Church.  1

Also the Nicene and Apostles Creed will have been changed and this is first class heresy.2 Priests would be in heresy at Holy Mass.
The Athanasius Creed  would be rejected since the new doctrine now is outside the Church there is known salvation.3
All the old Catechisms would contradict the past exclusive ecclesiology of the Church. The popes of old would contradict each other. The Catechism of Pope Pius X would contradict the Syllabus of Errors of Pius IX, for the SSPX.
So theologically, no more could there be an ecumenism of return for the SSPX.Since now there is salvation outside the Church with invisible cases being visible.4
With the rejection of the strict interpretation of the dogma EENS, the SSPX will have to accept inter faith marriages as not being adultery.
They will also have to be open to joint mission programs with the Protestants.
RATIONAL ALTERNATIVE
However if the SSPX accepts hypothetical cases ( BOD, BOB and I.I  and LG 8, LG 16, etc ) as being only hypothetical there will no more be exceptions to the strict interpretation of EENS.
They can affirm Vatican Council II and all the Catechisms, including the Catechism of the Catholic Church (1994), without them being in conflict with EENS.
They can affirm the Creeds with no heretical change.
They can affirm the past ecclesiology,Syllabus of Errors, ecumenism of return and the strict interpretation of EENS which would not be contradicted by hypothetical cases of BOD,BOB and I.I.
So there would be a harmony in the theology of the Catholic Church before and after  Vatican Council II and there would be no rupture with Tradition( Syllabus of Errors etc).

CDF AND THE LEFT WANT A RUPTURE WITH TRADITION
But all this would not be acceptable to the CDF who want a hermeneutic of rupture with Sacred Tradition to appease the Left.
The SSPX is still living in the past. They are 50 years behind time. They need to re-interpret Vatican Council II and all magisterial documents in harmony with EENS, Syllabus of Errors etc and then ask the CDF to do the same.
They must demand that Rome come back to the Faith.
Rome must leave new doctrines on salvation created  with an irrational premise.
The deception is over. The red does not contradict the blue.
We now know what makes Vatican Council II a rupture with Tradition and so can re-interpret the Council, rationally. This should have been done in 1965.

The Catechism of Pope Pius X does not say that invincible ignorance is an exception to the dogma extra ecclesiaam nulla salus(EENS). This has to be wrongly inferred by sedevacantists (Graphics)

I even interpret the Catechism of the Catholic Church(1995) as being Feeneyite. I use the same reasoning : hypothetical cases are not explicit in the present times.

CDF delegation meet Asian Bishops in Thailand : new doctrines on salvation presented

A delegation of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith(CDF) met in Thailand from Jan. 15-18 with representatives of the Asian bishops conference(Fabc). It was organized by the Fabc 'office for theological questions'.The Vatican delegation included the cardinal-prefect Luiz Ladaria,Archbishop Joseph Augustine di Noia, the Adjunct Secretary of the CDF, Fr. Herman Geissler,E.S.O  the head of the CDF office for doctrine and other  officials of the CDF.According to L'Osservatore Romano 1   Archbishop Di Noia spoke on the recent letter Placquet Deo 2 and some aspects of 'Christian salvation' and its implications in Asia.
At various sessions of the conference, the bishops of Asia at the Bangkok Pastoral Center, discussed  the functions of the doctrinal commission in the service of the faith with Cardinal Ladaria.Cardinal Tagle and Archbishop Di Noia spoke on the significance of 'Christian salvation' in the midst of new challenges in Asia. There was also a talk on evangelisation in the Asian context.
For me it is clear that the Asian bishops were informed that the Church has rejected the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) after Vatican Council II.Since invisible and hypothetical cases mentioned in Vatican Council II's LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc were interpreted as objective and known non Christians saved outside the Church. This was confirmed at the Placquet Deo Press Conference when Cardinal Ladaria saw LG 8( subsists in / elements of sanctification and truth) as referring to personally known non Catholics saved outside the Church. In this way LG 8 becomes an  exception to EENS.
The Asian bishops were told that they all had to continue to accept the Letter of the Holy Office 1949(LOHO) as being magisterial.Even though LOHO assumed invisible cases of the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOD),  and being saved in invincible ignorance(I.I) are visible exceptions to traditional EENS. So this is the new doctrine approved at the Placquet Deo Press Conference.
About a week before the conference, Archbishop Di Noia  and the Curia in the Diocese of Manchester,USA informed the St. Benedict Center(SBC), in New Hampshire, that when they interpret Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church in harmony  with the strict interpretation of EENS,it  was unacceptable.
Brother Andre Marie MICM,Prior, at the SBC had quoted  the past popes and Church Councils, the Church Fathers, Vatican Council II(AG 7), Catechism of Catholic Church(846) and Dominus Iesus(20) in support of the centuries-old interpretation of EENS, which his community holds.3
He was saying that the blue passages in Magisterial documents are in harmony with the strict interpretatiion of EENS and the past exclusive ecclesiology and the red passages do not contradict the blue passages  but they refer to hypothetical and theoretical possibilities only and not practical and literal exceptions to EENS.4
The Asian bishops are already interpreting the red passages in magisterial documents as being exceptions to the orthodox blue passages, which affirm exclusive salvation, there being only Catholics in Heaven and most people on earth being oriented to Hell, since they lack faith and baptism (AG 7).
The Vatican delegation was creating new doctrines on salvation with an irrational and heretical theology, which is politically correct with the Left-who represent Satan.

Pope Francis' ecumenism and inter-religious dialogue, like that of popes Benedict, John Paul II and Paul VI, is based on 'the red being an exception to the blue'.This is the new theology also used by the CMRI in the Diocese of Manchester

Pope Francis' ecumenism and inter-religious dialogue, like that of popes Benedict, John Paul II and Paul VI, is based on 'the red being an exception to the blue'.This is the new theology.
The St. Benedict Center's ecumenism of return and inter-religious dialogue, to create new members in the Catholic Church, is based on 'the red  is  not being an exception to the blue'.

The issue gets complicated when the sedevacantist Bishop Mark Pivarunas of the Congregatio Mariae  Reginae Immaculatae(CMRI), also in the Diocese of Manchester,USA, supports an ecumenism of return and inter-religious dialogue, with the need for non Catholics to enter the Catholic Church to avoid Hell- but for them too, like for Bishop Peter Libasci, , ' the red is an exception to the blue'.
Image result for Photo of Bishop Peter LibasciImage result for Photo of Bishop Mark Pivarunas
The CMRI are also traditionalists like the St. Benedict Center(SBC).But for the SBC, 'the red is not an exception to the blue'.So they are called Feeneyites.
To be a Feeneyite is to say that 'the red is not an exception to the blue'.
For the Feeneyite the blue passages in magisterial documents support exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church and the red passages are not exceptions.

But for  the ecclesiastics at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith(CDF) and the CMRI and the SSPX it is the opposite. These traditionalists use the New Theology, of the liberals.
So the diocese of Madison,on their website, have cautioned Catholics not to attend Holy Mass at the CMRI  chapel, since (even though they accept that 'the red is an exception to the blue' and they are not aware of it) they do not accept Pope Francis as the pope.
The pope affirms the New Ecumenism, New Ecclesiology, New Theology. For him there is no ecumenism of return and the need for non Catholics to enter the Catholic Church, for salvation(to avoid Hell).
Like the CMRI, for Pope Francis, 'the red is an exception to the blue'.However the pope accepts the non traditional conclusion and they reject it and so go into sedevacantism.

What is the status of “The Religious Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen” and “Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Mission” in Salem?
A group which calls itself “The Religious Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen” (“CMRI”) has established a church in Salem by the name of “Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Mission.” On its website, this group indicates that it offers the Tridentine Rite Mass (sometimes referred to as the “Traditional” or “Latin” Mass), Catechism classes for children, and Confessions and other sacraments.
This group and this church are not Catholic, and do not have the right to call themselves Catholic. CMRI is not in communion with the Roman Catholic Church, and the sacraments they claim to offer have no validity in the Roman Catholic Church. Catholics are not permitted to receive the sacraments from CMRI ministers under any circumstances, nor should they participate in any activity provided by this group.
The members of CMRI are what are called “sedevacantists,” meaning that they believe that the current pope is not truly the pope and that the See of St. Peter is vacant. They believe that there has not been a pope in the Catholic Church since the death of Saint John XXIII, and therefore do not recognize any subsequent pope, including Pope Francis, as head of the Church.
For those who have a desire to attend a celebration of the Tridentine Rite Mass within the Church in union with the Holy See, visit our online directory for a listing of our Latin Masses.
If you have any questions about the relationship between CMRI and the Roman Catholic Church, please contact your pastor, or the diocese.
