Bad theology among traditionalists

SSPX APPEAL TO BISHOP MARCELLO SEMERARO TO ENDORSE VATICAN COUNCIL II WITHOUT THE FALSE PREMISE FOR AN AGREEMENT

But why do the traditionalists condone a modernist teaching?

The SSPX and the St.Benedict Centers do not realize still that the baptism of desire etc are not exceptions to the dogma. They are irrelevant.

The Eucharist is real, so we can see the host with the naked eye.So we can have a theology and an understanding of the Eucharist.
The baptism of desire is not real or tangible like the Eucharist. You can have an intellectual explanation of it but you cannot have a theology which makes it an exception to extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
Similarly there cannot be a theology which says LG 16,LG 8 etc are exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus. There are no concrete cases in our reality for it to be an exception. On the premise of being able to see the dead now in Heaven this year we cannot create a theology.
So how can the baptism of desire or Vatican Council II (LG 16,LG 8 ,UR 3 etc) be an exception to extra ecclesiam nulla salus?
-Lionel Andrades

Kasper the Friendly Liar

This is the ‘official’ heresy of the Letter of the Holy Office and it has been accepted by the SSPX and the magisterium.

Berto Slomovicci
I don’t know what could be done about it.
Everytime I try to bring the subject up I almost always get accused of heresy and/or “Feeneyism
Lionel:
I agree with you.
They mix up Feeneyism and Cushingism.
Feeneyism says that the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance are not explicit. So there is no salvation outside the Church.
Cushingism says that the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance are explicit. So there is salvation outside the Church.
Cushingism is heresy since it rejects the traditional interpretation of the dogma.
It alleges that the dead now saved in Heaven are visible on earth to be exceptions. This is irrational.
The result is fantasy theology based on non existing for us, baptism of desire etc. This is the ‘official’ heresy of the Letter of the Holy Office and it has been accepted by the SSPX and the magisterium.
It is a break with Vatican Council II (Ad Gentes 7), the Council of Forence, extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the Nicene Creed ( I believe in one baptism for the forgiveness of sin and not three or more known baptisms).
-Lionel Andrades

The Bishop of Albano will not like this. But then at least he cannot say that the SSPX has to accept Vatican Council II (with the premise)

They will understand that salvation is in the Catholic Church and not in the Conciliar Church.

Lionel:
Both ‘Churches’ are making a subtle error in the interpretation of salvation doctrine.

Berto Slomovicci:
  • Lionel, as far as I know 99.9999% of “Catholics” are making that error nowdays.
Lionel:
Yes .What can be done about it?
The bishop of Albano wants the SSPX to accept Vatican Council II with this error.
The SSPX instead does not state that Vatican Council II can be interpreted without the error.Neither is Louie , Vennari and Ferrara wanting to admit this in public.
Then there are priests who offer the Novus Ordo Mass who know what I am saying but do not want to affirm extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
    • If the SSPX in some way makes it known that Vatican Council II can be accepted without the premise, they would be saying that Vatican Council II indicates all need to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation and there are no exceptions. This means according to Vatican Council II Jews and Muslims need ‘faith and baptism’ for salvation.
The Bishop of Albano will not like this. But then at least he cannot say that the SSPX has to accept Vatican Council II(with the premise).
      -Lionel Andrades

How can they return to the traditional doctrine of the Church when the SSPX is making the same doctrinal error as Rome ?

A Catholic Thinker:
The return of Rome and the bishops to the traditional doctrine of the Church.
  • Lionel:
How can they return to the traditional doctrine of the Church when the SSPX is making the same doctrinal error as Rome ?

A Catholic Thinker .
I’m short on time, but feel the need to point out for the benefit of the forum that the doctrinal errors lie with Lionel. And, Lionel, no offense, but you’re really proving to be a one-trick pony here.
    Lionel.
If the doctrinal error lies with Lionel then show him precisely what is the error.
I have mentioned precisely what is the doctrinal error being made by the traditionalists.

The traditionalists and Cardinal Kaspar say:
1.Lumen Gentium 16 is an exception to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.2.They both imply that those who are saved in invincible ignorance (LG 16) and without the baptism of water, are visible to us on earth. They would have to be known and visible to be exceptions to the dogma.

  • This is irrational. It is a new doctrine and a non traditional interpretation.
The LG 16 text does not state that being saved in invincible ignorance is explicit and so is an exception to the salvation dogma. It has to be implied. And so it is implied wrongly by traditionalists and liberals.
The Council of Trent and Mystici Corporis does not mention that implicit desire and being saved in invincible ignorance are explicit and so are exceptions to Tardition. This has to be inferred. It is inferred wrongly by SSPX priests and bishops.
Vatican Council II no where says that there are explicit exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus but since it is assumed that the dead are visible in the present times, it is wrongly inferred by the communities of Fr.Leonard Feeney in the USA , that the Council contradicts Tradition.
Similar doctrinal errors can be pointed out with the Catechism of the Catholic Church 1257-1260 and the Letter of the Holy Office 1949.

-Lionel Andrades

The SSPX and the St.Benedict Centers do not realize still that the baptism of desire etc are not exceptions to the dogma. They are irrelevant.

They can only understand this issue theologically and that too based on the false premise.

Ever mindful:
Thank you Lionel.
I shall continue to read, study and reflect.

Lionel:
You will have to be aware.Much of what you read on the Internet on extra ecclesiam nulla salus is leftist propaganda.
There are also Jewish Left groups who threathen Catholics and others who support Fr.Leonard Feeney.
Also most people’s concept of Feeneyism comes from the SSPX and the St.Benedict Centers who do not realize still that the baptism of desire etc are not exceptions to the dogma. They can only understand this issue theologically and that too based on the false premise.
They do not want to admit that all these years they were wrong and there are no known exceptions in Vatican Council II to the dogma.
-Lionel Andrades

But why do the traditionalists condone a modernist teaching?

Barbara:
One Hundred Years of Modernism, Fr. Dominic Bourmaud. (Yes, Lionel it’s from the SSPX but good nevertheless!)
Lionel:
Since 1949 there is modernism in the Catholic Church which has also been accepted by the SSPX and other traditionalists.
The SSPX and the St.Benedict Centers, and also the sedevacantists have the same position on Vatican Council II and salvation, as does Cardinal Walter Kasper.
Kasper I can understand.
But why do the traditionalists condone a modernist teaching?

Couple With 12 Sons are Expecting Baby Number 13, They’ll be “Shocked” to Have a Girl

Couple With 12 Sons are Expecting Baby Number 13, They’ll be “Shocked” to Have a Girl

Michigan couple is a mathematical impossibility. Jay and Kateri Schwandt don’t want to know the sex of their baby before birth because they’ve already got 12 sons and they’re thinking is that lucky number 13 is on the way.
The couple admit they aren’t expecting their streak to be broken, though they are hoping for their first baby girl.
schwandt‘If we were to have a girl, I think we would go into shock,’ Kateri said. ‘It would probably be disbelief.’
Jay said the couple just hopes their baby is health, but he admits he’s done all of the “boy stuff” and is ready for a girl.
‘I’ve experienced all the boy stuff,’ he said. ‘As long as we are having all these children, it would be really neat to experience the other side.’
The couple’s youngest son Tucler was born last August and their oldest son Ty is now 22.
The Grand Rapids Press has the full story:
“The stuff that goes on in this house is all-boy – roughhousing and wrestling,” Jay said. “If there was a little girl in there, I assume it would be different.”
Kateri, after being the sole female in the family for two decades, said she would lean toward having one more boy.
schwandt2“A little girl would be neat to have in the house, but a little boy kind of takes the pressure off,” she said. “We know what we are doing. Why change things up?”
The Schwandt boys are divided about whether they’d prefer a new brother or sister, Jay said.
The parents plan to follow their tradition of not finding out the baby’s sex in advance. They both insisted they would welcome either a boy or a girl.
“We are both super-excited, and obviously we are just hoping for a healthy baby,” Jay said.
After they told their sons and word spread through friends and family members, Kateri said she has encountered much joy and excitement, but few who were surprised.
“People are probably thinking, ‘Better you than me,’” she joked.

War Against the Eucharist - Michael Voris

I Am Present in the Eucharist despite the misinterpretation of My Promise

My dearly beloved daughter, do not worry. You are improving in the way you are setting time aside in prayer to Me. Now it is important that man understands that in order to come closer to My Heart, he must understand the need to receive the Sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist.
Many people, including other Christian groups, deny My Real Presence in the Eucharist. Why they have decided to deny the promises I made at My Last Supper, where I promised I would give My Flesh and Blood as Food and Nourishment for your souls, is unclear. What is clear is that the Miracle of the Holy Eucharist, Present in all Tabernacles all over the world, Exists today, and is there to fill your poor, undernourished and empty souls with My Presence. This Presence will strengthen you in ways, that, were you to miss receiving Me once you get used to this, you will feel lost.
Many Christians ignore one of the most fundamental promises I made during My Crucifixion, where I would be Present in Bread and Wine and leave a permanent mark to help nourish souls. Too much human reasoning has meant that I have been rejected by even well meaning Christians. These same Christians cannot receive the Holy Eucharist in its True Form. The Most Holy Eucharist was given to you all as a great Gift for your redemption and salvation. By rejecting the fact that I Am Present, means that you are forfeiting special graces, which are part of a pact to bring Me even closer into your hearts. Remember, when I died for you, it was to lead you to towards eternal life and salvation. Receive Me as the Living Presence and your souls will alight in ways you would not have believed possible. Turn back to receiving My Body and Blood. Let Me remove your doubts. This is one of the biggest mistakes Christians have made, by denying Me entry to their souls in this way. It greatly offends My Eternal Father because of the Sacrifice involved to save your souls. Let Me bring Light and nourishment into your lives. You will be more inclined to accept the Truth of My Teaching after The Warning takes place.
Remember what I promised during My Last Supper that when you take the bread and wine it will become for you My Body and My Blood.* Any other interpretation has been distorted by human logic and reasoning. Now understand and accept the Truth.
Your loving Saviour, Jesus Christ
*For clarification on the Doctrine of Transubstantiation please refer to the Message given on Friday, June 1, 2012 08:15 PM
“When the antichrist devours all religions the only weapons which he will be powerless against is the Holy Mass and the Transubstantiation of the bread and wine into My Body and Blood, in the Holy Eucharist.”

A Matter of Conscience -Michael Voris

Accept the Truth given to you in the Book of Revelation

My dearly beloved daughter, when prophecies were given to God’s children, from the beginning, they created fear in the hearts of men. This was because of the doubts that existed in the minds of those who did not believe in God and the comfort that man felt in his natural earthly surroundings. It was easier to accept a life of imperfection than to believe in one that existed in the supernatural.
God did not send His prophets to frighten His children. He sent them to warn them of the dangers of creating a deep gulf between man and God. If that gulf became wide enough, so that the majority of souls rejected God, then He always intervened in order to save them. God has always intervened through His prophets and it was through His prophets that God was able to educate His children in the Ways of the Lord. Without God’s prophets man would not have been given the Truth. What God gives His people, through the written Word, let no man pull it asunder.
Man is not worthy to change the Word of God, nor is he fit to change the meaning of the Word, nor does he have the right to do so. If a man takes the Word of God and deliberately misinterprets it, to hurt others, then this is a grave sin. There have been many who have tried to change the meaning of the Word but failed. Yet, there are those who created versions of the Word, which varied from the full Truth, and people were none the wiser. I do not hold these souls accountable because they used the Word only to give glory to God.
When I came to preach the Truth I was feared. All the prophets before Me were also feared. They, just like Me, were hated for bringing humanity the Truth, through the spoken Word. The Book of Revelation, given to John the Evangelist by the Power of the Holy Spirit, has been ignored by My Christian Churches. It is rarely discussed and many in My Church dismiss it as being irrelevant.
The time has now come for the Truth to be finally spoken and for men to make a choice. Accept the Truth, given to you in the Book of Revelation, and prepare so that all will be in place and pleasing to Me on the Great Day. Or, ignore the Word and My Promise to come again. Turn a deaf ear to My Pleas, but remember, I will come like a thief in the night and only those who welcome Me and accept My Mercy will be Mine.
I warn you only because I love you. Were it not for My Love, I would cast the human race into the wilderness, so ungrateful are their souls.
Your Jesus

SSPX APPEAL TO BISHOP MARCELLO SEMERARO TO ENDORSE VATICAN COUNCIL II WITHOUT THE FALSE PREMISE FOR AN AGREEMENT http://eucharistandmission.blogspot.it/2014/10/sspx-appeal-to-bishop-marcello-semeraro.html

We call upon Bishop Semeraro to please do the same. Affirm Vatican Council II as we interpre it http://eucharistandmission.blogspot.it/2014/10/we-call-upon-bishop-semeraro-to-please.html

SSPX can accept the documents of Vatican Council II when the premise is not used in the interpretation http://eucharistandmission.blogspot.it/2014/10/sspx-can-accept-documents-of-vatican.html

Semeraro

FSSPX
Molte cose potremmo chiedere a Mons.

SSPX APPEAL TO BISHOP MARCELLO SEMERARO TO ENDORSE VATICAN COUNCIL II WITHOUT THE FALSE PREMISE FOR AN AGREEMENT

The Society of St.Pius X (SSPX) could announce that they accept Vatican Council II,without the premise( see blue section) and call upon Bishop Marcello Semeraro, the bishop of Albano, to do the same ( see red section). Then the SSPX announces that after the bishop of Albano has accepted Vatican Council without the premise( blue section) they will accept the Council as such( see purple section).
The Society of St.Pius X accepts extra ecclesiam nulla salus without any exceptions as mentioned in the General Chapter Statement 2012 so they endorse Vatican Council II without the irrational premise.

SSPX Accepts

1.We  (SSPX) accept Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II which says all need faith and baptism for salvation and so affirms the traditional interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. We call upon Bishop Marcello Semeraro, the Bishop of Albano to do the same. Affirm Vatican Council II.
2.We accept Vatican Council II in which LG 8,LG 14, LG 16,NA 2,UR 3 are possibilities and do not refer to explicit exceptions to Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II. We call upon Bishop Semeraro to please do the same. Affirm Vatican Council II as we interpret it.
Ad Gentes 7 says all need faith and baptism for salvation. Vatican Council II indicates all Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, Mulsims and others need to convert into the Church, with faith and baptism, for salvation.
3.Bishop Bernard Fellay, the Superior General of the SSPX,  has said that the SSPX accepts Vatican Council II as a historical event and that he accepts 90% of the Council.

SSPX conditions for the Bishop of Albano.

So an appeal is made to the Bishop of Albano to also affirm Vatican Council II in agreement with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus ( with no exceptions) as mentioned in the SSPX General Chapter Statement 2012.The SSPX appeals to the Bishop of Albano to interpret and affirm Vatican Council II as they do ( see above)  and set an example for all.
1.Please accept Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II which says all need faith and baptism for salvation and so affirms the traditional interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
2.Please accept Vatican Council II in which LG 8,LG 14, LG 16,NA 2,UR 3 are only possibilities and do not refer to explicit exceptions to Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II.
Ad Gentes 7 says all need faith and baptism for salvation. Vatican Council II indicates all Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, Muslims and others need to convert into the Church, with faith and baptism, for salvation.
3.Acknowledge that Bishop Bernard Fellay has said that the SSPX accepts Vatican Council II as a historical event and that he approves of 90% of the Council.

Agreement

Bishop Marcello Semeraro announces that he  affirms Vatican Council II in agreement with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus ( with no exceptions) as mentioned in the SSPX General Chapter Statement 2012 and is willing to interpret and affirm Vatican Council II as mentioned above setting an example for all.

After this announcement by the Bishop of Albano endorsing Vatican Council II without the premise the SSPX makes an announcement.

The SSPX announces that since the Bishop of Albano has accepted Vatican Council II in agreement with the interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, they also accept this version.
Since the bishop interprets extra ecclesiam nulla salus according to Fr.Leonard Feeney, the Church Councils, popes and saints and not according to the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 and Cardinal Richard Cushing, this is acceptable to them.
Since the Bishop of Albano interprets Vatican Council II according to Tradition i.e according to Feeneyism and not Cushingism; according to the hermeneutic of continuity and not rupture, they accept Vatican Council II without the premise and they reject Vatican Council II with the premise, which results in a break with Tradition.
Since all sides accept extra ecclesiam nulla salus as it was interpreted over the centuries, there is no change in Church ecclesiology and the traditional teachings on other religions, Christian communities and religious liberty, in Vatican Council II.

The Power of the Rosary : A Diabolical Possession

A Diabolical Possession
When St. Dominic was preaching the Rosary near Carcassone (1) an Albigensian was brought to him who was possessed by the devil. St. Dominic exorcised him in the presence of a great crowd of people; it appears that more than 12,000 had come to hear him preach. The devils who were in possession of this wretched man were forced to answer St. Dominic’s questions in spite of themselves.
They said that:
1. There were 15,000 of them in the body of this poor man, because he had attacked the 15 mysteries of the rosary;
2. They went on to testify that by preaching the Rosary he (Dominic) put fear and horror into the very depths of hell and that he was the man they hated most throughout the whole world, because of the souls which he snatched from them through devotion to the Holy Rosary;
3. They then revealed several other things.
St. Dominic put his rosary around the Albigensian’s neck and asked the devils to tell him who, of all the saints in heaven, was the one they feared the most, and who should therefore be the most loved and revered by men. At this they let out such unearthly screams that most of the people fell to the ground, faint from fear. Then, using all their cunning, so as not to answer, the devils wept and wailed in such a pitiful way that many of the people wept also, out of purely natural pity. The devils spoke through the mouth of the Albigensian, pleading in a heartrending voice:

Dominic, Dominic, have mercy on us—we promise you that we will never hurt you. You have always had compassion for sinners and those in distress; have pity on us, for we are in grievous straits. We are suffering so very much already, so why do you delight in heightening our pains? Can’t you be satisfied with our suffering without adding to it? Have pity on us! Have pity on us!

St. Dominic was not one whit moved by the pathos of these wretched spirits and told them that he would not let them alone until they had answered his question. Then they said they would whisper the answer in such a way that only St. Dominic would be able to hear. The latter firmly insisted upon their answering clearly and out loud. Then the devils kept quiet and refused to say another word, completely disregarding St. Dominic’s orders—so he knelt down and prayed thus to Our Lady: “Oh, all powerful and wonderful Virgin Mary, I implore you by the power of the Most Holy Rosary, order these enemies of the human race to answer me (9).
No sooner had he made this prayer than a glowing flame leaped out of the ears, nostrils and mouth of the Albigensian. Everyone shook with fear, but the fire did not hurt anyone. Then the devils cried:

Dominic, we beseech you, by the passion of Jesus Christ and by the merits of His Holy Mother and of all the saints, let us leave the body of this man without speaking further—for the angels will answer your question whenever you wish. After all, are we not liars? So why should you want to believe us? Please don’t torture us any more; have pity on us.

“Woe unto you wretched spirits, who do not deserve to be heard,” St. Dominic said, and kneeling down he prayed to Our Lady:

Oh most worthy Mother of Wisdom, I am praying for the people assembled here who have already learned how to say the Angelic Salutation properly. Please, I beg of you, force your enemies to proclaim the whole truth and nothing but the truth about this, here and now, before the multitude.

St. Dominic had hardly finished this prayer when he saw the Blessed Virgin near at hand, surrounded by a multitude of angels. She struck the possessed man with a golden rod that she held and said: “Answer my servant Dominic at once.” (Remember, the people neither saw nor heard Our Lady, but only St. Dominic.) Then the devils started screaming:

Oh you who are our enemy, our downfall and our destruction, why have you come from heaven just to torture us so grievously? O Advocate of sinners, you who snatch them from the very jaws of hell, you who are the very sure path to heaven, must we, in spite of ourselves, tell the whole truth and confess before everyone who it is who is the cause of our shame and our ruin? Oh woe unto us, princes of darkness:
Then listen well, you Christians: the Mother of Jesus Christ is all-powerful and she can save her servants from falling into hell. She is the Sun which destroys the darkness of our wiles and subtlety. It is she who uncovers our hidden plots, breaks our snares and makes our temptations useless and ineffectual.
We have to say, however reluctantly, that not a single soul who has really persevered in her service has ever been damned with us: one single sigh that she offers to the Blessed Trinity is worth far more than all the prayers, desires and aspirations of all the saints.
We fear her more than all the other saints in heaven together and we have no success with her faithful servants. Many Christians who call upon her when they are at the hour of death and who really ought to be damned according to our ordinary standards are saved by her intercession.
Oh if only that Mary (it is thus in their fury that they called her) had not pitted her strength against ours and had not upset our plans, we should have conquered the Church and should have destroyed it long before this; and we would have seen to it that all the Orders in the Church fell into error and disorder.
Now that we are forced to speak we must also tell you this: nobody who perseveres in saying the Rosary will be damned, because she obtains for her servants the grace of true contrition for their sins and by means of this they obtain God’s forgiveness and mercy.
Then St. Dominic had them all say the Rosary very slowly and with great devotion, and a wonderful thing happened: at each Hail Mary that he and the people said together a large group of devils issued forth from the wretched man’s body under the guise of red-hot coals.
When the devils had all been expelled and the heretic was at last entirely free of them, Our Lady (who was still invisible) gave her blessing to the assembled company, and they were filled with joy because of this.
A large number of heretics were converted because of this miracle and joined the Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary.

Plotting Revolution

We call upon Bishop Semeraro to please do the same. Affirm Vatican Council II as we interpret it.

If only the SSPX could announce:

1.’We accept Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II which says all need faith abd baptism for salvation and so affirms the traditional interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. We call upon Bishop Marcello Semeraro, the Bishop of Albano to do the same. Affirm Vatican Council II.

2.’We accept Vatican Council II in which LG 8,LG 14, LG 16,NA 2,UR 3 are possibilities and do not refer to explicit exceptions to Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II. We call upon Bishop Semeraro to please do the same. Affirm Vatican Council II as we interpret it.‘Ad Gentes 7 says all need faith and baptism for salvation. Vatican Council II indicates all Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, Mulsims and others need to convert into the Church, with faith and baptism, for salvation.
‘Bishop Fellay has said that the SSPX accepts Vatican Council II as a historical event and that he accepts 90% of the Council.

‘So an appeal is made to the bishop of Albano to also affirm Vatican Council II in agreement with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus ( with no exceptions) as mentioned in the SSPX General Chapter Statement 2012.
We appeal to the Bishop of Albano to interpret and affirm Vatican Council II as we do and set an example for all....

Pope Benedict XVI and the Bishop of Albano made a doctrinal errror with reference to the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 , Catechism of the Catholic Church 1257-1260 and an irrational interpretation of Vatican Council II http://eucharistandmission.blogspot.it/2014/10/pope-benedict-xvi-and-bishop-of-albano.html

Pellegrinaggio Internazionale a Lourdes

Lourdes
