Mic'd up contradictions

On Mic'd up-The Catholic Internet Michael Voris and Christine Niles mention the influence of the Protestant heresy. Otherwise too, Michael Voris speaks about outside the Church there being no salvation and that Protestants need to become Catholic to go to Heaven. In the same program Michael asks Steve Jalsevac , co-founder of LifeSites.com, his views on the present conditions in the Church. He does not ask Steve, a Protestant to convert for salvation. LifeSites is a sponsor of Voris' media.
This is similar to the secular, liberal media who do not want to rock the boat and so they  mention only positive things which would be appealing to all.Often it is in opposition to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
So when Voris does not crticize the magisterium/ Pope Francis as do the 'reactionary Catholic media', he could be making a virtue out of a necessity. He critcizes the Society of St.Pius X (SSPX) for not having 'jurisdiction' but forgets his diocese does not consider him Catholic and he cannot speak at parishes in Detroit.
The SSPX is not accepting Vatican Council II since Pope Francis interprets the Council with the Marchetti Inference and wants the SSPX to do the same. So they remain in an irregular situation. The magisterium continues to make a mistake on this issue.Michael Voris, for whatever reason, does not point it out.
Michael Voris and Simon Rafe are not familiar with theology on the issue of exclusive salvation in the Church. There has been no program on the  teachings of the dogma in relationship with Vatican Council II i.e a Council II without the Marchetti Inference. The liberals have used theology to change Church doctrines on salvation. They have used the Marchetti Theory to interpret magisterial documents. The ambigous result has been accepted by Michael Voris. It is theology based on  an irrational premise which produces an irrational and non traditional conclusion.Michael stays clear of this issue. He avoids further trouble, with his liberal bishop in Detroit.
Remember the Left in Boston excommunicated Fr.Leonard Feeney for being faithful to the teachings of the Church. They wanted to take the Church in the direction Pope Francis is leading all.
Michael cannot tell his bishop that he would ask Steve Jalsevac to become a Catholic based on Vatican Council II interpreted without the Marchetti Inference  i.e salvation in Heaven is visible on earth. His bishop would not understand and Michael still seems unfamiliar with this subject.
So he has to say outside the Church there is no salvation and Protestants need to convert based on the salvation- dogma, the Syllabus of Errors and the Catechism of the Pope Pius XI - and excluding  Vatican Council II (with the premise) . His bishop would  assume this is not Catholic . He would be rejecting Vatican Council II like the SSPX. Or, he would hold the contradictory position of the St.Benedict Centers in the USA who say they affirm the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and Vatican Council II. Or equally contradictory is the position of the SSPX. They say they affirm the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the baptism of desire is a known exception to the dogma.
If Michael and Simon understood that the magisterium made a mistake in assuming that the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible (and other forms of salvation in heaven) were known exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus, they could then explain away  traditional teaching, in agreement with Vatican Council II ( without the inference). He could then ask the bishop of Detroit to affirm Vatican Council II rationally.
Mic'd up's present position is as contradictory as that of the the SSPX and the liberals. It is Vatican Council II along with the strict interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus and extra ecclesiam nulla salus along with the baptism of desire being exceptions. It should make any rational Catholic's head spin.

LETTER OF THE HOLY OFFICE
Therefore, no one will be saved who, knowing the Church to have been divinely established by Christ, nevertheless refuses to submit to the Church or withholds obedience from the Roman Pontiff, the Vicar of Christ on earth.-Letter of the Holy Office.

In His infinite mercy God has willed that the effects, necessary for one to be saved, of those helps to salvation which are directed toward man's final end, not by intrinsic necessity, but only by divine institution, can also be obtained in certain circumstances when those helps are used only in desire and longing.-Letter of the Holy Office 1949.

This we see clearly stated in the Sacred Council of Trent, both in reference to the sacrament of regeneration and in reference to the sacrament of penance (, nn. 797, 807).-Letter of the Holy Office 1949.
(Lionel. )

Therefore, that one may obtain eternal salvation, it is not always required that he be incorporated into the Church actually as a member, but it is necessary that at least he be united to her by desire and longing.-Letter of the Holy Office 1949.

However, this desire need not always be explicit, as it is in catechumens; but when a person is involved in invincible ignorance God accepts also an implicit desire, so called because it is included in that good disposition of soul whereby a person wishes his will to be conformed to the will of God.-Letter of the Holy Office 1949.

These things are clearly taught in that dogmatic letter which was issued by the Sovereign Pontiff, Pope Pius XII, on June 29, 1943, (AAS, Vol. 35, an. 1943, p. 193 ff.). For in this letter the Sovereign Pontiff clearly distinguishes between those who are actually incorporated into the Church as members, and those who are united to the Church only by desire.-Letter of the Holy Office 1949.
Come ?

From what has been said it is evident that those things which are proposed in the periodical , fascicle 3, as the genuine teaching of the Catholic Church are far from being such and are very harmful both to those within the Church and those without.-Letter of the Holy Office.
(Lionel: From the Housetops stava dicendo non ci sono eccezioni conosciuto al dogma.)

Hence, one cannot understand how the St. Benedict Center can consistently claim to be a Catholic school and wish to be accounted such, and yet not conform to the prescriptions of canons 1381 and 1382 of the Code of Canon Law, and continue to exist as a source of discord and rebellion against ecclesiastical authority and as a source of the disturbance of many consciences.-Letter of the Holy Office 1949

Furthermore, it is beyond understanding how a member of a religious Institute, namely Father Feeney, presents himself as a "Defender of the Faith," and at the same time does not hesitate to attack the catechetical instruction proposed by lawful authorities, and has not even feared to incur grave sanctions threatened by the sacred canons because of his serious violations of his duties as a religious, a priest, and an ordinary member of the Church.-Letter of the Holy Office 1949
Finally, it is in no wise to be tolerated that certain Catholics shall claim for themselves the right to publish a periodical, for the purpose of spreading theological doctrines, without the permission of competent Church authority, called the "" which is prescribed by the sacred canons.-Letter of the Holy Office 1949
Therefore, let them who in grave peril are ranged against the Church seriously bear in mind that after "Rome has spoken" they cannot be excused even by reasons of good faith. Certainly, their bond and duty of obedience toward the Church is much graver than that of those who as yet are related to the Church "only by an unconscious desire." Let them realize that they are children of the Church, lovingly nourished by her with the milk of doctrine and the sacraments, and hence, having heard the clear voice of their Mother, they cannot be excused from culpable ignorance, and therefore to them apply without any restriction that principle: submission to the Catholic Church and to the Sovereign Pontiff is required as necessary for salvation.-Letter of the Holy Office 1949

Therefore, no one will be saved who, knowing the Church to have been divinely established by Christ, nevertheless refuses to submit to the Church or withholds obedience from the Roman Pontiff, the Vicar of Christ on earth.-Letter of the Holy Office
(Lionel: We do not know any one in 2015 who is saved or will be saved with implicit desire or in invincible ignorance. So who knows or does not know, is known only to God.The Letter implies that we know who these cases are and so not every one needs to enter the Church as Fr.Leonard Feeney taught.Only those who 'know' need to enter the Church, as compared to the dogmatic teaching which says all need to formally enter the Church.Cardinal Marchetti mixes up a theoretical case with practically all needing the baptism of water in the present times.
He is lost in the forest here.)
In His infinite mercy God has willed that the effects, necessary for one to be saved, of those helps to salvation which are directed toward man's final end, not by intrinsic necessity, but only by divine institution, can also be obtained in certain circumstances when those helps are used only in desire and longing.-Letter of the Holy Office 1949
(Lionel: Why mention that a person can be saved in desire and longing with reference to extra ecclesiam nulla salus.Where are these cases ? What are their names? The cardinal assumes there are known cases and so it is relevant to the dogma. He assumes there are exceptions to the dogma.Hypothethical cases are defacto exceptions. He is confused here.
All at sea. Ignorant. )
This we see clearly stated in the Sacred Council of Trent, both in reference to the sacrament of regeneration and in reference to the sacrament of penance (, nn. 797, 807).-Letter of the Holy Office 1949
(Lionel. No where does the Council of Trent say that there are exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus or that we know in real life who these people are for them to be exceptions. In Cardinal Marchetti's mind they are visible and known. So for him they are exceptions.

(Lionel :'This desire need not always be explicit, as it is in catechumens; but when a person is involved in invincible ignorance..' in other words this case is known, explicit, objective for Cardinal Marchetti. So it is an exception to the rigorist interpretation of Fr.Leonard Feeney.
In a soup.Confused.)

'Those who are united to the Church only by desire' will be saved, while being outside the visible limits of the Church.Since these cases are visible and known for Cardinal Marchetti they are exceptions to all needing to be incorporated into the Church as members for salvation. This is inferred and so Fr.Leonard Feeney is pulled up.He had to say that they were known exceptions to the dogma and there was salvation outside the Catholic Church. He has to say that not all people need to defacto be members of the Church for salvation. He did not and so criticized him.
He is still in a tangle here.)
From what has been said it is evident that those things which are proposed in the periodical , fascicle 3, as the genuine teaching of the Catholic Church are far from being such and are very harmful both to those within the Church and those without.-Letter of the Holy Office.

Bishop Schneider uses the common Gnostic interpretation of the Letter of the Holy Office 1949, the Catechism of the Catholic Church and Vatican Council II

Featured ImageBishop Athanasius Schneider:
Battling the New Gnosticism

It is a sad truth that we are in a time of great crisis in the Church. God is with us, however. You have asked me what the faithful can do to combat the errors spreading through the Church. I would like to answer with some suggestions:
(Lionel: Please note that though well meaning, Bishop Schneider uses the common  Gnostic interpretation of the Letter of the Holy Office 1949, the Catechism of the Catholic Church and Vatican Council II )
We must create groups of true Catholics, scholars, families, and clergy who will spread courageously the full Catholic truth, especially on the Church’s teachings on the family, on nature, and the commandments of God.
(Lionel: This is not 'the full Catholic truth'. This is a misrepresentation of the truth in the Letter of the Holy Office which Bishop Schneider accepts. He then uses this irrationality in the interpretation of Vatican Council II. So for him the Council is ambigous and would not be in agreement with the 'strict interpretation' of the dogma on exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church.)

As a means to this aim, we must make use of all the resources that the modern world offers to us. We are not confined to waiting for the media to spread these messages. We do not have to wait for each individual pastor to preach them from the pulpit. We should embrace the new media forms that allow us to spread the Gospel and the teachings of our Holy Mother, the Church. We should take our message to the Internet, publish it on websites, blogs, and social media.
(Lionel: The New Catholic Media also uses the Marchetti Inference in interpreting Vatican Council II.Even LifeSites.com and Michael Voris are part of the problem.)
But we must not forget to engage with our fellow Catholics in more traditional ways. We should organize conferences and symposiums on a scholarly level. We should use these to create publications, papers, and books that can be used as a reference and broaden our discussion.
(Lionel: No one is permitted by the Left to hold a conference on extra ecclesiam nulla salus with respect to Vatican Council II - or with respect to any thing else!)
We should also create a movement of Catholic families, of “domestic churches”, to witness, defend and spread the integral faith and the teaching on family, marriage, and the order of nature.
We must, at this dangerous time, be courageous in illuminating the truly Gnostic and revolutionary character of the “Kasper agenda,” demonstrating the continuity of the Divine doctrine on marriage and its practice throughout the two thousand years of the history of our Church.
(Lionel: Family catechesis does not affirm the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.)

We should inspire the faithful with examples of holy husbands, families, children, and teenagers. We should demonstrate, on the one side, the real beauty of a marital, family, or single life in chastity and fidelity. On the other side, we must point to the demonstrated ugliness, unhappiness, and schizophrenia of a life against the divinely-established order.
To give hope to those who are struggling, it is important for us to give examples of repentant Catholics from the past and present time. Those who converted from their sinful life in adultery, divorce, or sodomy.
To address the errors currently being spread, true Catholic husbands, families and single persons must write to the pope, to the their bishops, and to the competent dicasteries of the Roman Curia, notifying them of heretical, semi-heretical, or Gnostic pronouncements of ecclesiastical persons or events with such an agenda which are being promoted though ecclesiastical persons or groups.
(Lionel: The Cardinal Marchetti virus has spread through out the Church and no one is identifying it.)
These are all means of education and formation. But the battle we are fighting is against more than ignorance. It is against principalities and powers. It cannot succeed unless we organize a great national and international net of prayer through Eucharistic adoration, pilgrimages, solemn Masses, intercessional and penitential processions with themes such as “The Holiness of Family and Marriage,” “The Call to Chastity,” “The Beauty and Happiness of a Chaste Life,” “The Imitation of Christ in Family Life,” and “Expiation for the Sins Against Family and Marriage.”
Perhaps most fundamental of all, we should pray fervently that God may give to His Church holy bishops and holy popes. Such a prayer should be prayed especially by children, because the prayer of the innocent ones penetrates heaven like no other.
(Lionel: When Our Lady at Fatima said that the dogma of the faith will be lost, except in Portugal, may be she was referring to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. It has been lost even among bishops and cardinals like Bishop Schneider and Cardinal Raymond Burke, who use the Marchetti Theory, to reject the traditional interpretation.)

Michael Voris, Edward Pentin and John Allen miss the story

Michael Voris, Edward Pentin and John L.Allen Jr. are refusing to say that the magisterium has made an objective error in the Letter of the Holy Office 1949.
Michael  Voris in the The UnCatholic Internet-Mic'd Up seems to project his media as also secular and liberal. He  did not ask direct and blunt questions when speaking to John L. Allen and Edward Pentin, both liberals on the issue of the Letter of the Holy Office, the Marchetti Letter. At other times Michael Voris uses a clear and direct approach when referring to the bishops and asks lay persons to do the same.
Here is the irrationality of the Letter of the Holy Office they all do not want to touch.
LETTER OF THE HOLY OFFICE

This we see clearly stated in the Sacred Council of Trent, both in reference to the sacrament of regeneration and in reference to the sacrament of penance (, nn. 797, 807).-Letter of the Holy Office 1949

Therefore, that one may obtain eternal salvation, it is not always required that he be incorporated into the Church actually as a member, but it is necessary that at least he be united to her by desire and longing.-Letter of the Holy Office 1949
(Lionel: The dogma says all need to be incorporated into the Church actually as a member and he denies it. For him there are known cases of persons who do not need to be incorporated as members of the Church.
Still lost.)
However, this desire need not always be explicit, as it is in catechumens; but when a person is involved in invincible ignorance God accepts also an implicit desire, so called because it is included in that good disposition of soul whereby a person wishes his will to be conformed to the will of God.-Letter of the Holy Office 1949
These things are clearly taught in that dogmatic letter which was issued by the Sovereign Pontiff, Pope Pius XII, on June 29, 1943, (AAS, Vol. 35, an. 1943, p. 193 ff.). For in this letter the Sovereign Pontiff clearly distinguishes between those who are actually incorporated into the Church as members, and those who are united to the Church only by desire.-Letter of the Holy Office 1949
(Lionel: 'those who are actually incorporated into the Church as members, and 'those who are united to the Church only by desire' .
(Lionel : From the Housetops was saying there are no known exceptions to the dogma.
They were expected to say the Emperor has clothes on.)
(Lionel: They were saying that there are no known exceptions.
It was nothing new. It was traditional.)
(Lionel: The lawful authorities were saying that there were exceptions to the strict interpretation of the dogma. Implicit desire and being saved in invincible ignorance, referred to known cases saved without the baptism of water. So there was known salvation outside the Church for the lawful authorities.
Dictatorship of relativism within the Church.)
(Lionel: The competent authorities were saying that all persons do not need to enter the Church but only those who 'knew', those who were not in invincible ignorance or the baptism of desire and who were saved. So all need to enter the Church except for this category- of exceptions.
The magisterium went off the tracks here.)
(Lionel: They were being criticized for saying there are no exceptions.
Even today, it is the same old story.)
They are not reporting on the real story - that it is the magisterium which has made a mistake, an objective mistake.
