Sept 11 next month - Quran burning ?

Will Pastor Terry Jones and others burn a Quran next month? Many Quran burning events wre held over the last few years especially in the USA.Their message : the Quran incites Muslims to violence. There have been Quran burning events on the eve of Sept 11.
Pastor Jones has been prevented from burning the Quran.
He won a Case against the City of Dearborn,Michigan,USA. He was represented by the Thomas More Law Center.
Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, applauded Judge Hood’s decision: “Judge Hood’s ruling upholds a bedrock principle of the First Amendment, that government cannot inhibit the expression of an idea just because some find the idea offensive.  This principle is in stark contrast to those nations ruled by Sharia law. The fact that some may find Pastor Jones a controversial public figure or object to his message is even greater reason for Dearborn officials to ensure his right to free speech was protected.  So despite the fact that Dearborn has one of the largest concentrations of Muslims in America, the City should have protected Pastor Jones’s right to free speech, not contrive a way to impede it.”

The TMLC attorney Erin Mersino who handled the case, added, “Judge Hood in her ruling clearly recognized that our clients were subject to the unbridled discretion of the City’s legal department, and that in order to exercise their constitutional rights to free speech on public property, they had to surrender many of their other civil rights.”
Mersino continued, “This requirement was not only unconscionable; it was unconstitutional.”
Pastors Terry Jones and Wayne Sapp founded Stand Up America Now for the purpose of proclaiming the Holy Bible to Muslims and educating people about the threat of Sharia law to fundamental principles of freedom.  As part of their outreach efforts, Jones and Sapp travel across the country speaking about Christianity at Muslim events and mosques.
There is a video on Youtube also of Ann Barnhardt  burning a Quran. The Westboro Baptist Church Shirley Phelps-Roper has  burned a Koran in public. Many others have done the same.

Is the Quran Hate Propaganda?

Iran sentences man to have eyes gouged out, another has hand and foot amputated

Iran is simply following the Qur’an, which stipulates: “And We ordained for them therein a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and for wounds is legal retribution. But whoever gives charity, it is an expiation for him. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed – then it is those who are the wrongdoers.” (5:45)

And: “Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides…” (5:33)
“Iran regime sentences man to have eyes gouged out,” NCRI, August 5, 2015:
NCRI – The mullahs’ inhuman regime in Iran has sentenced a young man to be blinded.
The cruel and medieval sentence was handed down on Saturday (August 1) to the 27-year-old man only identified by his first name Hamed.
Hamed had told the regime’s court that in March 2011, when he was 23 years old, he unintentionally caused an eye injury to another young man in a street fight, according to the official state-run Iran newspaper.
“It was around midnight and I was sitting at home when my mother called me and said that my father had gotten into a car accident. I rushed to the scene to help my dad, but I really didn’t intend to injure anyone’s eye,” Hamed told the regime’s court.
Following this sentence, Ms. Farideh Karimi, a member of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and a human rights activist, said:
“It is deeply regretful that European governments are not protesting such cases of barbarity in Iran. These savage acts which constitute torture are enshrined in the Iranian regime’s laws. At least four people were hanged in public in Iran last month. Such public hangings also constitute a form of public torture. When people are urged to go to the scene, everyone who is faced with that sight is also tortured by that barbaric act. One must ask: Why has the EU closed its eyes to these atrocities.”
The Iranian regime’s judiciary officials have publicly defended limb amputations, eye gouging, and even stoning to death as a very real part of their judicial law.
Mohammad-Javad Larijani, the head of the Iranian regime’s ‘Human Rights Council’, said on April 10, 2014: “The problem is that the West does not understand that Qisas (law of retribution) is different from execution. We are not ashamed of stoning or any of the Islamic decrees.”

“No one has the right to tell a judge to avert some sentences because the United Nations gets upset. We should firmly and seriously defend the sentence of stoning.”

He has also said: “Retaliation and punishment are beautiful and necessary things. It’s a form of protection for the individual and civil rights of the people in a society. The executioner or the person administering the sentence is in fact very much a defender of human rights. One can say that there is humanity in the act of retaliation.”
The Iranian regime on Monday amputated the hand and foot of an inmate in a prison in Mashhad, northeast Iran.
The prisoner, only identified as Rahman K., had his right hand and left foot severed by the authorities. A second prisoner is awaiting the same sentence imminently….

So if a pope or any one makes the connection, does not compartmentalise BOD and I.I it is irrational

All those who are saved certainly do NOT need to be a card carrying member !!!!!!!
Who are all these persons? We do not know them in the present times. They are not known cases. Why do you mention them with reference to EENS i.e all needing to be card carrying members of the Church.

But all need to be taught that they do need to be a card carrying member of the Catholic Church. There is a difference!
Yes all need to be card carrying members but what has this to do with speculative cases.

This is where you get it wrong, Lionel

Lumen Gentium, 14).:

(4)" However, God’s grace does work outside of the sacraments in many cases.

So what has this to do with EENS in the present times? In the present times all need to be card carrying members of the Church.

For Catholic Christians this can occur when they are deprived of the sacraments through no fault of their own, or when they pray for grace outside the sacraments, even while also regularly receiving them.
And we do not know of any such case.

Likewise, a catechumen who dies without baptism can be saved from the “desire for baptism.”
Invisible case. Accepted in principle. But no connection could be made with EENS. It has nothing to do with EENS.

Outside the Catholic Church, those who are in invincible ignorance regarding the nature of the Church and the sacraments can still receive the offer of salvation.
In 2015 we do not know any such case?

This was an explicit teaching of Pope Pius IX in the 19th century, and it has clear precedents in the teaching of 13th century scholastic theologians like Aquinas."

If he made a connection, a link it was irrational. Baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance is O.K.But if it is assumed that these cases are linked to EENS it is irrational. These cases would have to be known, explicit and visible to be exceptions to EENS. They are not known to us humans.
So if a pope or any one makes the connection, does not compartmentalise BOD and I.I it is irrational.

Lumen Gentium 15-16 presents this idea in a complex and nuanced way. (We find complementary teachings in Unitatis Redintegratio and Nostra Aetate.)

Only if you mix up what is invisible as being visible, what is known only to God as also being known to us and then infer that these known cases are exceptions to all needing faith and baptism.

Lay young woman comes to Medugorje and then founds a community in Peru

Leticia Blanco Gordan from Lima in Peru came to Medjugorje in 1994, she is the founder of a community of lay people in Peru called "Apostles of Mary Queen of Peace"

Christopher Mwashinga projects hypothetical cases as being objectively known. This is the basis of the New Theology which he refers to

Karl Rahner and Henri Lubac like about every one else picked up the Marchetti error.
They used it to interpret Nostra Aetate etc.It can be seen in this conference paper full of irrationality.
Christopher Mwashinga (M.Div., MA in theology ) projects hypothetical cases as being objectively known. This is the basis of the New Theology which he refers to.
The baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance are not relevant or an exception to extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS). Since they are invisible cases for us, they do not exist in our reality. Yet these invisible cases were the basis for Rahner and Lubac's New Theology.Zero cases are the basis of the new theology, which makes Vatican Council II a break with the traditional interpretation of the dogma  EENS.
This is the New Theology accepted by the Vatican Curia, the traditionalists and sedevacantists. They have different positions on Vatican Council II but they are all using the same irrational reasoning which comes from the Letter of the Holy Office 1949.
Mwashinga assumes his thinking is rational but it is based on a false premise. The false premise is that the dead who are now in Heaven are personally known and visible to us on earth. Then based on this premise he makes an irrational inference. He assumes that these cases in Heaven are explicit exceptions to the dogma EENS.
Yet Vatican Council II can be interpreted without this false premise and inference. Then the Council emerges traditional and in line with the dogma EENS.
