John Henry Weston cites Archbishop Bruno Forte on the Jews and does not himself interpret Vatican Council II rationally which would say that Jews need to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation (AG 7), according to Vatican Council II

 

Archbishop Bruno Forte, like Pope Benedict and others says Jews do not need to convert. The say this based upon Vatican Council II interpreted irrationally and not rationally.

When Vatican Council II is interpreted irrationally then LG 8,LG 14,LG 16, UR 3,NA 2, GS 22 etc, refer to visible and known people, saved outside the Church. They are saved without faith and the baptism of water.So there are alleged practical exceptions for the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the Athanasius Creed, the Syllabus of Errors etc. In this way the Vatican Council II becomes a break with the past ecclesiocentrism of the Catholic Church.

So since there is alleged known salvation outside the Church Pope Benedict and Cardinal Kasper would say outside the Church there is known salvation and so Jews can be saved.

Bishop Robert Barron said the same when he quoted Lumen Gentium 16 as being a known case of someone saved outside the Church.

So he told Ben Shapiro that he did not have to convert. He cited Vatican Council II (irrational) openly.He was referring to an exception and that too interpreted irrationally.

For me LG 8 etc refer to hypothetical cases and invisible people in 2023. So LG 8, LG 14, LG 16 etc are not practical exceptions for the dogma EENS, the Athanasius Creed, the Syllabus of Errors etc. The Council, for me, does not contradict the past ecclesiocentrism. The Council in Ad Gentes 7 says all need faith and baptism. This includes the Jews. There are no known exceptions for us human beings in real life. There are no exceptions mentioned in Vatican Council II for me.

This is not just a personal opinion.Vatican Council II must only be interpreted rationally. This is the moral thing to do. There is no choice.

So we cannot blame Archbishop Bruno Forte only when John Henry Weston and Mother Miriam interpret Vatican Council II with the irrational and not rational premise.

So I interpret Vatican Council II rationally. If the Jewish Left use the Anti Semitism weapon, its too bad. But this is my Catholic faith in harmony with de fide teachings of the Church. -Lionel Andrades

Augustinian Recollect priests cannot preach the Catholic Faith in Rome because of the police. They are also controlled at the universities

At the Augustinian Recollect Church in Rome the priests affirm Vatican Council II which says all need faith and baptism for salvation (Ad Gentes 7). They also affirm the Catechism of the Catholic Church which says outside the Church there is no salvation and God wants all to be united in the Catholic Church. The Church is like the Ark of Noah (845, 846, 1257). At the Agostinian Recollect minor seminary in Rome, LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, NA 2, GS 22 etc, refer  to hypothetical and invisible cases only, in 2023. This is something obvious. It is common sense. So LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc, do not contradict Ad Gentes 7 and Catechism of the Catholic Church 845, 846, 1257.They also do not contradict the strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (Cantate Domino, Council of Florence 1442), the Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius IX, the Catechism of Pope Pius X (24Q, 27Q) and the Athanasius Creed. Vatican  Council for them and for me would not contradict Tradition, when it is interpreted rationally. But they do not proclaim this in their homilies which are controlled by the police. Their seminarians cannot also proclaim the Catholic Faith.There is a drop in vocations.

They attend the pontifical universities in Rome where the Jewish Left will not give them permission, to proclaim, or live, the Catholic faith. Also the Rome Vicariate is under the Jewish Left rabbies and laity, at the leftist synagogue in Rome, associated with Israel.I know this experience. I was not allowed to study at a pontificial university and seminary in Rome, since I affirm Vatican Council II in harmony with Tradition.The police here know this.

Meanwhile at this church, San Ildefonso and Tomasso Villanova, and other churches in Rome, groups of Muslims, keep coming and they are not tolerant. They are educated and many of them are naturalized citizens. They do not accept the missionary doctrine of the Catholic Church, which is not contradicted by Vatican Council II interpreted with an irrational premise and inference and traditional conclusion. There is the hermeneutic of continuity with Tradition. 

So the teachings of the Church today for the Agostianian Recollect priests is the same as it was for St. Ildefonso and St.Thomas Villanova. -Lionel Andrades
