Fr. Daniel Couture, the District Superior of Canada issues a controversial statement critical of the Vatican Document on the Jews

Neither the SSPX USA or Econe have issued a statement on the Vatican Document on Christian-Jewish Dialogue. However the District Superior in Canada has correctly criticised the document but excludes mentioning the necessity of membership in the Catholic Church for salvation - this is heresy. He could not mention it. Since for the SSPX there are known exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus .The  baptism of desire and blood and being saved in invincible ignorance are exceptions (explicit) to the old ecclesiology based on the dogma (Cantate Dominio, Council of Florence 1441 etc).

Fr. Daniel Couture, the District Superior of Canada has rejected the exclusivist ecclesiocentric model of the Church, similar to the liberals, the Vatican Curia and the Jewish Left.Instead he presents a Christological model of the Church, with the necessity of vaguely believing in Jesus. This was the Ratzinger model.

In his theology he has rejected Feeneyism and accepted Cushingism. For me there are no known exceptions, there cannot be any known exception to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. I am a Feeneyite. For Fr. Daniel Couture there can be known exceptions to the dogma on outside the Church there is no salvation. They are the baptism of desire etc, all without the baptism of water. He is a Cushingite. Cushingism is speculation. Who can know of someone saved in 2015-2016 without the baptism of water? Cushingism is fantasy theology. Who can say there is a known exception of someone saved without the baptism of water and so all do not need to formally convert into the Church?
Zero cases of something cannot be exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesium nulla salus said John Martignoni, the American apologist who has a program on EWTN.Many priests in Rome agree with him.

If Fr.Couture  would use the traditional Feeneyite theology he would  have to say that the Catholic Church is necessary for salvation, all need to be formal members of the Church to avoid Hell, all need 'faith and baptism' and there are no exceptions.

He cannot say this since he has accepted the objective mistake of the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 -just as Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre did.The official website of the SSPX is critical of Feeneyism. This makes the liberals happy. The Left welcomes it. This is something too good for them, when they see the traditionalists interpret Vatican Council II wih Cushingism only. The Council is  a break with Tradition.Archbishop Lefebvre was not aware of the mistake in the 1949 Leter and how the error was brought into Vatican Council II in so many places (NA 2, UR 3, LG 14, LG 8, AG 11, AG 7 etc).

So Fr. Daniel Couture 's statement , which is welcomed, is heretical in the sense that he does not affirm the strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus since there are exceptions to the dogma for him(even when he does not know of any exception). He has changed the Nicene Creed to 'I believe in three or more baptisms, which could exclude the baptism of water'. He has interpreted Vatican Council II with Cushingism ( LG 16 is explicit and so an exception to the dogma) and so the Council emerges as a break with Tradition. So he has changed the Extra ordinary and ordinary magisterium of the Church - just like the contemporary Magisterium, which is in public heresy. The break came during the pontificate of Pope Pius XII and the SSPX and the sedevacantists have accepted the error.

I instead affirm the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus with no exceptions and so all Jews and other non Catholics need to convert formally into the Church to avoid Hell. For me there is one baptism, the baptism of water,  for the forgiveness of sin.Since the baptism of desire and blood if they exist with or without the baptism of water, would be unknown to us human beings.A zero case.

Vatican Council II is in perfect agreement with the dogma on exclusive salvation in the Church. There is nothing in Vatican Council II to contradict the Syllabus of Errors and the old ecclesiology. So the Church teachings on other religions and salvation and the old ecumenism, have not changed for me after Vatican Council II. This is the rational interpretation. The present magisterium makes an irrational interpretation just like the SSPX.

Vatican Council II (AG 7, LG 14) indicates all Jews and other non Catholics need faith and baptism to avoid Hell and to go to Heaven and there are no exceptions mentioned in the Council.Since hypothetical and invisible cases cannot be exceptions to the dogma on exclusive salvation in the Church. No SSPX District Superior -or cardinals and bishops in general ,are willing to say this.
They are not even willing to criticize the Vatican Document on the Jews  as Fr. Daniel Couture has done.-Lionel Andrades
