Beda Pontifical College Rome: still teaching error

The Beda Pontifical College in Rome, the Catholic seminary under the Bishops of England and Wales is continuing to ordain priests( since I was a seminarian there in 2002-2003) who interpret Vatican Council II with the false premise of being able to see the dead-saved. They are taught that Lumen Gentium 16 refers to cases saved in invincible ignorance. It is implied that we personally can see and know these cases for them to be exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. So Vatican Council II is a break with the past.-Lionel Andrades

These priests  were taught to reject Vatican Council II
(Ad Gentes 7) and assume there are known exceptions.
They were taught to reject the Nicene Creed in which
we pray 'I believe in one baptism for the forgiveness
of sin'.
There are three known baptism for them.
They were taught to reject the Catechism of the Catholic
Church 846 which says all need to enter the Church
as through a door. For them all do not need to
enter the Church. There are known exceptions.

BTh/BD ProgrammeThe Pontifical Beda College, Rome, was founded in 1852 as a seminary, and is under the auspices of the Catholic Church in England and Wales. It offers a four year process of formation for ministerial priesthood in the Catholic tradition. In formal academic terms, the first three years make up the  Bachelor of Theology Programme (BTh) which is presented in collaboration with St. Mary’s University
college. (The 4th Year offers students the Graduate Diploma in Theology).

The College has been offering the BTh programme at British University level since 2002. In September 2010 a new collaborative programme with St Mary’s University College was initiated.

Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales assumes non Catholics saved with 'seeds of the Word' etc are known to us in 2014

Cardinal Tauran - Jain Derasar

Meeting God in Friend and Stranger

Nostra Aetate

recognises that there are elements of truth and holiness in other religions and acknowledges that the Holy Spirit is at work in them. Other relig-ions contain ‘seeds of the Word’ and ‘a ray of the one Truth’. God’s good plan, and the promise of eternal life, applies to every human being. At the same time, Christ is the only one through whom it is possible to come to this eternal life. What is true and holy in other religions does not replace the Good News of Chris-tianity, but can create a fertile environment for it.

The Bishops' Conference of the Catholic Church in England and Wales in the document Meeting God in Friend and Stranger does not state that according to Vatican Council II (Ad Gentes 7), all non Catholics in England need 'faith and baptism' for salvation. They need to enter the Church visibly with 'faith and baptism' and there are no known exceptions mentioned in Vatican Council II or personally known in 2014.
On their  website there is also a video of Gavin D'Costa. D'Costa assumes that Lumen Gentium 16 (being saved in invincible ignorance), UR 3 ( being saved in imperfect communion with the Church) refer to cases of non Catholics saved and who are physically seen in 2014. So they are exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and to Ad  Gentes 7. This would mean Vatican Council II for the Bishops Conference contradicts itself, Ad Gentes 7 is opposed by Lumen Gentium 16, Unitatis Redintigration 3 etc.
This is irrational. We cannot see the deceased  who are now saved in Heaven. So there are no exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. All need to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation.
'Seeds of the Word' (AG 11) and ' a ray of the one Truth' (NA 2) are not exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

'At the same time, Christ is the only one through whom it is possible to come to this eternal life.' True. But what about the Church? In England do not all people need to enter the Catholic Church for salvation? Those who are saved through Jesus and the Church in other religions are not known to us.They are not exceptions to all needing faith and baptism in England to go to Heaven and avoid the fires of Hell.

Diocese of Lancaster presents new doctrine on ecumenism and an irrational interpretation of Vatican Council II

9.7 Elements of the Church outside the Catholic Church

Full incorporation into the communion of the Church depends on full sacramental life and unity regulated by the office of Peter and the Apostles. However, it must be recognised that Christian communities outside the Catholic Church are used by the Holy Spirit as the means of salvation for their members (UR 3), through what they hold in common with the Catholic Church.
(The Diocese of Lancaster's Mission Document available on their website , Fit for Mission?-Church, states here that Protestants are saved in their religion and so do not have to convert into the Catholic Church with 'faith and baptism'(Ad Gentes 7).

They are saved through Jesus and the Church.

It cites Unitatis Redintigratio 3 (UR 3),Vatican Council II.

UR 3 mentions those non Catholics who can be saved in imperfect communion with the Church as a possibility. It is accepted in faith, in principle. UR 3 does not state that this is the ordinary means of salvation or that these cases are explicit for us to be known exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
UR 3 does not contradict AG 7 which says all need faith and baptism for salvation. Protestants do not have Catholic Faith, they have no access to the Sacraments of the Church through which Jesus saves, they do not follow the moral and doctrinal teachings of the Church to avoid mortal sin and preserve Sanctifying Grace).

I consider it important that all Catholics in our diocese clearly grasp the Second Vatican Council’s understanding that there is one Church of Christ, not many churches. While the Catholic Church possesses the fullness of communion, non Catholic churches and communities participate, to various degrees, in the communion of the one Church of Christ...
(They need to convert into the Catholic Church according to Ad Gentes 7.
They also need to convert into the Catholic Church according to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. UR 3 does not contradict the dogma on exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church since there are no known exceptions in 2014.)

I would expect everyone in our diocese to actively engage in the vital work of genuine ecumenism, as an urgent Mission Priority..

Vatican Council II does not contradict the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus as it was known to the saints through the centuries. This doctrinal teaching can be a part of ecumenism in the Diocese of Lancaster. It has been the basis for Mission for centuries.

To assume that UR 3 is an exception to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus is irrational. It is also a new doctrine and it contradicts Vatican Council II.

Diocese of Lancaster website makes no mention of exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church

The Diocese of Lancaster,England on its official website in the section The Catholic Faith makes no mention of the necessity of the Catholic Church for salvation and the need for all people to enter the Church with 'faith and baptism' (AG 7) to go to Heaven and avoid Hell.

SEHIONUK Catholic community in Birmingham evangelize based on the Cushing-Jesuit Factual Error in Vatican Council II

The SEHIONUK Catholic community in Birmingham, England are evangelising based on the Cushing-Jesuit Factual Error in Vatican Council II.It assumes those saved in invincible ignorance are physically visible to us on earth.Since they are 'visible' they become exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus as it was traditionally known to the saints and the popes.
Fr.Soji Olikal and Fr.Jomon  Thomanna of the Malayalam, South Kerala community in Birmingham  make an objective error in the interpretation of Vatican Council II and other magisterial documents.

The error is innocent and is common with the Catholic Charismatic Renewal,Neo Catechumenal Way and other ecclesial communities.

Once the priests are aware that there are no known exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus their School of Evangelisation can make the doctrinal correction.

Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate : Can Lumen Gentium 16 (being saved in invincible ignorance) be considered hypothetical and invisible for us ?
http://eucharistandmission.blogspot.it/2014/03/franciscan-friars-of-immaculate-can.html#links

Cardinal Cushing and the Jesuits made a factual error in the text of Vatican Council II ?

Cardinal Cushing and the Jesuits made a factual error in the text of Vatican Council ?
The Archbishop of Boston Cardinal Richard Cushing assumed that the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance were known, explicit, visible on earth exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus as interpreted by Fr.Leonard Feeney.

The Archbishop of Boston maintained the excommunication of Fr.Leonard Feeney for some 19-plus years with the support of the Holy Office (CDF,Vatican).
The Archbishop never issued a clarification when the Boston newspapers reported that the Catholic Church has changed its teaching on salvation.
In other words, the hypothetical and invisible for us cases saved with the baptism of desire or in invincible  ignorance were supposed to be visible on earth and so exceptions to the literal interpretation of the dogma according to Fr.Leonard Feeney.
Pope Pius XII never issued a correction and the Archbishop was made a cardinal. He was active at Vatican Council II along with the Jesuits of Boston. The Jesuits had expelled Fr.Leonard Feeney from their community.
Catholics throughout the world without thinking assumed that the baptism of desire could be a known exeception to the traditional interpretation of the dogma on exclusive salvation.Possibilities of salvation with the baptism of desire were considered to be defacto and known in reality.
In the text of  Vatican Council II we see so many statements which are possibilities and known only to God, made to appear relevant to the dogma on salvation and the traditional teaching on other religions and  Christian communities.

Here is Ad Gentes 7 for example:
This missionary activity derives its reason from the will of God, "who wishes all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, Himself a man, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself as a ransom for all" (1 Tim. 2:45), "neither is there salvation in any other" (Acts 4:12). Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door. Therefore those men cannot be saved, who though aware that God, through Jesus Christ founded the Church as something necessary, still do not wish to enter into it, or to persevere in it."(17) Therefore though God in ways known to Himself can lead those inculpably ignorant of the Gospel to find that faith without which it is impossible to please Him (Heb. 11:6), yet a necessity lies upon the Church (1 Cor. 9:16), and at the same time a sacred duty, to preach the Gospel. And hence missionary activity today as always retains its power and necessity.
By means of this activity, the Mystical Body of Christ unceasingly gathers and directs its forces toward its own growth (cf. Eph. 4:11-16). The members of the Church are impelled to carry on such missionary activity by reason of the love with which they love God and by which they desire to share with all men the spiritual goods of both its life and the life to come.
Finally, by means of this missionary activity, God is fully glorified, provided that men fully and consciously accept His work of salvation, which He has accomplished in Christ. In this way and by this means, the plan of God is fulfilled - that plan to which Christ conformed with loving obedience for the glory of the Father who sent Him,(18) that the whole human race might form one people of God and be built up into one temple of the Holy Spirit which, being the expression of brotherly harmony, corresponds with the inmost wishes of all men. And so at last, there will be realized the plan of our Creator who formed man to His own image and likeness, when all who share one human nature, regenerated in Christ through the Holy Spirit and beholding the glory of God, will be able to say with one accord: "Our Father."(19)

'made known by the Church's preaching'

This is a Cushing dead wood statement. We do not know who converted after being preached to and was saved. This is known only to God.So why mention it?

Therefore those men cannot be saved, who though aware that God, through Jesus Christ founded the Church as something necessary, still do not wish to enter into it, or to persevere in it."

who though aware ?  This is known only to God, so why mention it? Every one needs to enter the Church with 'faith and baptism' as it is stated in AG 7. If a person is in invincible ignorance or was 'aware', would be known only to God. The ordinary means of salvation is 'faith and baptism' (AG 7). If some one is saved with the baptism of desire it would not be known to us.So it is not an exceptio to all needing to enter the Catholic Church in 2014 for salvation.

'Therefore though God in ways known to Himself can lead those inculpably ignorant of the Gospel to find that faith without which it is impossible to please Him (Heb. 11:6)'

We do not know a single case saved  inculpably ignorant of the Gospel so why mention it ? How is it relevant to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus ? How does it change the traditional teaching on other religions ? It is possible that a non Catholic could be saved in invincible ignorance but this person  would not be known to us and so it is not an exception to the traditional extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

'provided that men fully and consciously accept His work of salvation, which He has accomplished in Christ'

'provided that men fully and consciously'? Do we know who is saved by fully and consciously accepting Jesus' work of salvation. Is it relevant to Ad Gentes 7 which states  'all' need 'faith and baptism' for salvation?
These dead wood statements are found also in other passages of  Vatican Council II. We have to remember that they refer to what is implicit, invisible for us, accepted in principle but not objectivily known. They are known only to God. So they are not exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus or Ad Gentes 7 ( all need faith and baptism).

Once this distinction is made Vatican Council II no where contradicts the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus as it was interpreted by the saints Robert Bellarmine, Francis of Assisi, Maximillian Kolbe and others - and the courageous priest from Boston, Leonard Feeney.
