Repost : There are no exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. The baptism of desire is not a defacto exception says a Brazilian priest today

There are no exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. The baptism of desire is not a defacto exception says a Brazilian priest today

A Brazilian priest who offered the Traditional Latin Mass today morning at a  church in Rome during the homily said that there is no salvation outside Jesus and there is no salvation outside the Church and this is the Mystery of the Incarnation.
After Holy Mass he confirmed that physically we cannot see any one saved with the baptism of desire etc. The baptism of desire is a possibility but it is not a defacto, objective exception to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
He said that there are three baptisms, the baptism of desire, blood and water. Those who receive the baptism of desire and blood will also receive the baptism of water.
So theologically the baptism of water is always necessary for salvation and there are physically no visible exceptions.
In Rome in 2015, he said,in response to a question, every one needs to be a formal member of the Church, with 'faith and baptism'(AG 7).There are no exceptions. All non Catholics defacto need to convert into the Church in 2015 in Rome. There can be no known exceptions.
The young priest who is studying in Rome  was repeating the same message expressed by Fr.Marco Hausmann  (Dec.21,2015).He also said there are no exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. Invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire are not defacto exceptions,
This is a small observation by these two priests. It would have a staggering influence on  our understanding of Vatican Council II.They are both saying that in Vatican Council II there cannot be any exceptions to the centuries old interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, defined by three Church Councils. LG 16,LG 8, UR 3,NA 2 etc refer to possibilities ( which would be followed by the baptism of water) and they are not explicit exceptions to the dogma.Since these cases would be known only to God and would be invisible for us.
With Vatican Council II not contradicting extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the Council is traditional on other religions and ecumenism. With the Council supporting  'the rigorist interpretation' of extra ecclesiam nulla salus we have the traditional means for affirming the Social Reign of Christ the King over all political institutions. The basis for religious liberty would be the dogma which is supported by Vatican Council II.A Vatican Council II  which does not mention any exceptions.-Lionel Andrades

Mighty Joe Young,
Thank you for your interest and comments. This is a very important subject. It is necessary that the Catholic Church issue a clarification on this subject.

I respect Monsignor Fenton, Fr.William Most and others, who as good Catholics and with good intentions, accepted the Letter of the Holy Office 1949.

However the principal error that the Letter made was factual and not theological.
The Letter used a false premise, a false proposition. Then it built a new theology upon this objective error.
The Letter assumed that exceptions to the dogma were known and visible to us in real life.In other words they assumed that the dead who are now in Heaven, saved with the baptism of desire or in invincible ignorance, were exceptions to all needing the baptism of water on earth. So for the Letter these invisible cases became explicit exceptions to the traditional teaching of the dogma according to Fr.Leonard Feeney and the St.Benedict Center.
It is a fact of life that we cannot see the dead on earth. It is a fact of life that we cannot see or know any exceptions to the dogma.
This was not noticed by Mons. Fenton or Fr.William Most, otherwise, good apologists.
Even when the confusion was carried over into Vatican Council II,(LG 16 etc) the error from the Letter of the Holy Office, was not detected and corrected.

Repost : The Council of Trent only referred to the baptism of desire. It did not say that these cases were known and visible to us

DECEMBER 11, 2014

The Council of Trent only referred to the baptism of desire. It did not say that these cases were known and visible to us

You misrepresented Canon law.
It said "OR AT LEAST IN DESIRE is necessary" which means Baptism is not absolutely necessary as you think.
Trent used the exact wording "or at least in desire."
Lionel:
The Council of Trent only referred to the baptism of desire. It did not say that these cases were known and visible to us. So it did not say that they were defacto exceptions to all needing the baptism of water for salvation in the present times.Since if they are not known to us in personal cases they cannot be exceptions to all needing the baptism of water in the present times for salvation.
Also no where in the Council of Trent is it said that these cases are exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. If it did mention this you would have been able to quote the text. Now you are unable to do so.
I accept the baptism of desire as a hypothetical case and this hypothetical case would be followed with the baptism of water. This is only a possibility. It can only be a possibility. It cannot be otherwise. It is defacto only for God.
So for me ' or at least in desire' refers to a hypothetical subject , which I accept as a possibility, and which of course does not contradict the dogma , since the Council of Trent does not say it does and since I do not know of an any such case in 2014.

You have no magisterial document (except the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 which is contradictory and without precedent) which says there are known exceptions to the dogmahttp://eucharistandmission.blogspot.it/2014/12/you-have-no-magisterial-document-except.html

Weeping statue in Ukraine

Miracles From Afar

While we tend to hear about more proximate miracles (such as the weeping statue in New Mexico), that doesn’t mean they’re not occurring in far-off places.
Take Ukraine — that former republic of the Soviet Union.
Unbeknown to most, it has been a key hotspot for alleged Marian phenomena since the 1980s — when apparitions and other manifestations erupted across the hinterlands, which at the time were even more peasant and “backward” than Medjugorje, with meat a rarity; aspirin hard to find (even for doctors); gas that had to be pumped by hand (hydraulically); homes with no phones (just radios); and livestock that on frigid days were brought inside — into houses — for warmth.
Such was the situation that highway police could not afford cars and so hid behind roadside boulders, flagging down those going over the limit with batons or flashlights.
Yet as she has so often, Mary favors such “pure” places — akin to how she herself lived on earth.
In a small town that once was considered part of Poland, the Church of the Holy Trinity has reported a small image of the Virgin of Lourdes that began to shed tears in 2005, often repeating on the 13th of the month — in apparent commemoration of Fatimá — and during one stretch did so for 102 consecutive days, bringing to mind the 101 instances of lachrymation at Akita In Japan.
Its full name, this Latin-rite church, we are informed by Forums of the Virgin Mary — is a mouthful: Our Lady of the Divine Providence of Nizankowice [see video below]. There have also been the sun-dance phenomena, healings, and conversions.
Said a parish priest, Father Lorenc Dobromiu: “What I saw was amazing for me. The first time I witnessed tears on the divine face of the mother I asked, ‘Why? What has happened? What is the reason of the tears?’ I was able to gather a sample of the mysterious liquid for examination of the substance in a professional laboratory.”
There it was found they were a salty liquid precisely like human tears — no missing components.
Next to the image many have noted a pleasant perfume of roses. These are marvels that should be reported upon by our Church, which is too mired in the long-ago past.
The phenomena were especially strong on the days John Paul II and Sister Lucia of Fatimá died.
During the First World War, the Church was bombarded by artillery, the bell tower fell apart, and Cossacks sacked it, turning it into a horse stable. Later it was used by Communists as a warehouse for grain — as were many churches in Ukraine.
But Mary is not to be subdued. And the miracles — at dozens of locales, from Hrushiw to Pochaiv and Zarvanystya — are testimony to that.
Hail Mary, full of Grace — and ceaseless borderless wonders.

Go out into the whole world and proclaim the Good News tell them that if they do not believe in Jesus and accept him as their Saviour in the Catholic Church they are all going to Hell.
This is the traditional teaching of the Catholic Church and is the teaching today of the Catholic Church when Vatican Council II and other Church documents are interpreted with the traditional Catholic theology and philosophy of Feeneyism and not the new Cushingite  theology and philosophy.
Tell your friends and acquintanences at ecumenical meetings that they are all going to Hell unless they enter the Church.

Tell them at inter-religious dialogue meetings that Catholic faith and baptism of water is necessary to avoid the fires of Hell where most people are going since they die outside the Church.
Tell them that today there are billions of people in Hell since the Catholic Church inspired by the Holy Spirit teaches it, when it says all need faith and baptism for salvation(AG 7). It is referring to Catholic faith.
This was how St. Ignatius of Loyola understood the faith and it is the same faith today, when an irrational premise is not used to change traditional doctrines on salvation.
So correct the errors in doctrine and affirm the traditional faith of the Catholic Church. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.-Lionel Andrades

JULY 31, 2018

So the St. Benedict Centers, the Society of St. Pius X, the popes and cardinals and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith did not say in public that Vatican Council II without the irrational premise supports the traditional interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).

Repost : When we delete the Cushingite passages in Ad Gentes 7 we are left with only the Feeneyite passages, the traditional motivation for Catholic Mission.

When we delete the Cushingite passages in Ad Gentes 7 we are left with only the Feeneyite passages, the traditional motivation for Catholic Mission.

When we delete the Cushingite passages in Ad Gentes 7 we are left with only the Feeneyite passages, which are the traditional motivation for Catholic Mission.
The Cushingite lines, refer to hypothetical cases. So they are not exceptions or relevant to the Feeneyite orthodox passages in Ad Gentes 7 or Lumen Gentium 14.
Then it is smooth reading with Vatican Council II. The message is direct like the pre-1930's encyclicals and Church documents.-Lionel Andrades

There is a mistake in Ad Gentes 7,Vatican Council II : it comes from the Letter of the Holy Office 1949

When Ad Gentes 7 mentions :-
Therefore those men cannot be saved, who though aware that God, through Jesus Christ founded the Church as something necessary, still do not wish to enter into it, or to persevere in it." (AG 7) It is an error . It comes from the mistake in the Letter of the Holy Office 1949

Similarly when it states the following, it is also an error from the 1949 Letter of the Holy Office to the Archbishop of Boston.
Therefore though God in ways known to Himself can lead those inculpably ignorant of the Gospel to find that faith without which it is impossible to please Him(AG 7)

Here is the passage again.
Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door. Therefore those men cannot be saved, who though aware that God, through Jesus Christ founded the Church as something necessary, still do not wish to enter into it, or to persevere in it." Therefore though God in ways known to Himself can lead those inculpably ignorant of the Gospel to find that faith without which it is impossible to please Him (Heb. 11:6), yet a necessity lies upon the Church (1 Cor. 9:16), and at the same time a sacred duty, to preach the Gospel. And hence missionary activity today as always retains its power and necessity.-  Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II

So when we are aware of these errors which come from the false premise used in the Letter of the Holy Office we are back to EENS Feeneyite which can clearly be read in the text of Vatican Council II.
