The Church Fathers are unanimous on the extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) as long as theologians today do not confuse invisible cases of the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance as being visible exceptions for the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. The dogma was defined by three Church Councils.They did not mention any exceptions.

At the practical level, in 1965 -2022,we know that there are no physically visible exceptions for EENS. We also know that there are no physically visible exceptions for EENS mentioned in Vatican Council II. Since LG 8,LG 14,LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc refer to hypothetical cases only.

These are Cushingite politically correct with the Left theologians discussing extra ecclesiam nulla salus. They use the Irrational Premise to break with the traditional interpretation of EENS with no excceptions, the ecclesiocentric model. They are dishonest and academically unetical.

The baptism of desire, baptism of blood and being saved in invincible ignorance, seeds of the word(LG 8), imperfect communion with the Church(UR 3) or just good will (GS 22), refer to hypothetical cases. They are not physically visible non Catholics saved outside the Church in the present times.They are not known people saved without faith and baptism. Since if anyone was saved as such it would only be known to God. But for us humans on earth, invisible people cannot be visible exceptions for the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.This is irrational. The popes and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith made an objective mistake in the 1949 Letter of the Holy Office(CDF) and even Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre did not correct the mistake. -Lionel Andrades

This is Rorate Caeili's political position on Vatican Council II like that of the Left and the two popes.This is modernism. For me there are no exceptions in Vatican Council II for the dogma EENS

The Council is traditional and dogmatic. It supports the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

This is there before our very eyes. All we have to do is 1) interpret the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus as having no physically visible exceptions and then 2) interpret Vatican Council II as containing no physically visible exceptions for extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

So Don Leone and Rorate Caeili were wrong when some time back they projected UR 3 in Vatican Council II, as being an exception for Feeneyite EENS.Invisible people cannot be  visible exceptions.A practical exception for EENS has to exist in our reality.
