For Cardinal Raymond Burke these hypothetical cases are explicit exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus

Cardinal Raymond Burke (PA)
Cardinal Raymond Burke has clarified comments about Pope Francis and Catholic doctrine saying that he was talking about a hypothetical situation.
The outspoken cardinal said on Monday that he would resist any move by Pope Francis to deviate from Catholic doctrine but has since said that he was talking about a “hypothetical situation”.1
Yet we know that those who are saved in invincible ignorance are hypothetical cases. We cannot meet any one as such in 2015.
Yet for Cardinal Raymond Burke these hypothetical cases are explicit exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. He will not affirm the strict interpretation of the dogma, the Feeneyite version, since the Magisterium has inferred that hypothetical cases are defacto, objective exceptions to the traditional interpretation of outside the Church there is no salvation.
So Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke  has rejected a de fide teaching with a hypothetical case.
Rome made a mistake in the 1949 letter issued by Cardinal Francesco Marchetti Selvaggiani.Cardinal Burke accepts the reasoning in this letter.

The cardinal has said he was talking about a 'hypothetical situation' when discussing the Pope and Church doctrine
Cardinal Raymond Burke has clarified comments about Pope Francis and Catholic doctrine saying that he was talking about a hypothetical situation.
The outspoken cardinal said on Monday that he would resist any move by Pope Francis to deviate from Catholic doctrine but has since said that he was talking about a “hypothetical situation”.
Cardinal Burke told Catholic News Agency yesterday, “I simply affirmed that it is always my sacred duty to defend the truth of the Church’s teaching and discipline regarding marriage.”
He added: “No authority can absolve me from that responsibility, and, therefore, if any authority, even the highest authority, were to deny that truth or act contrary to it, I would be obliged to resist, in fidelity to my responsibility before God.”
In an interview with the television channel France 2 on Sunday, according to a translation on the Rorate Caeli website, Cardinal Burke said that papal power was “at the service of the doctrine of the faith,” he explained, “and thus the Pope does not have the power to change teaching, doctrine.”
He was then asked: “In a somewhat provocative way, can we say that the true guardian of doctrine is you, and not Pope Francis?”
The cardinal replied: “We must, let us leave aside the matter of the Pope. In our faith, it is the truth of doctrine that guides us.”
When asked: “If Pope Francis insists on this path, what will you do?”
He said: “I will resist. I cannot do anything else

Fr.Robert Barron in Catholicism uses an irrational proposition to reach an irrational conclusion

Fr.Robert Barron in Catholicism ( p.119) suggests non Catholics in general can be saved and this is his interpretation of Vatican Council II. He comes to this conclusion by assuming the following, of which we must be aware. This is his inference.
1. The Letter of the Holy Office 1949 was correct and Fr.Leonard Feeney was wrong. The strict interpretation of the dogma is contradicted by cases of persons saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire.
2.Those who are saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire were explicit exceptions to the strict interpretation of the dogma ( even though they are in heaven and not on earth).
3.So since there are exceptions to the dogma we now accept that a non Catholic can be saved in his religion outside the Church. He does not need to be a formal member of the Catholic Church to go to Heaven.
4.If there can be one such case there can be many.
5.So it is possible that most people, most non Catholics will be saved. They will be saved through Jesus and the Church. They will be saved in general and without having to enter the Church with 'faith and baptism' (Ad Gentes 7).

So Fr.Robert Barron concludes elsewhere as Michael Voris often quotes him as saying, we have a reasonable hope that all men will be saved.
This is the theology which was accepted by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, later Pope Benedict XVI.This is magisterial. So Michael Voris is not expected to touch it.
The weak link in this common chain of reasoning, is inferring that those saved with the baptism of desire or in invincible ignorance are personally known to us,  objectively seen in the flesh.Explicit  in the present times. This is a false premise to reason with.
It with this irrational proposition that we have the irrational conclusion of Fr.Robert Barron.
It is theology , a new theology, based on an irrational premise which creates a non traditional, new doctrine on salvation, which has been accepted by the magisterium.

Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict also used the false premise and conclusion from the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 http://eucharistandmission.blogspot.it/2015/03/pope-john-paul-ii-and-pope-benedict.html

Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict also used the false premise and conclusion from the Letter of the Holy Office 1949

Comments from a previous blogpost.1

Vox Cantorius is spot on correct. How many years have you been rebuked on your private interpretations?
Lionel:
Sorry they are not private revelations.
I affirm Vatican Council II, except that I do not use the irrational premise and conclusion in the interpretation.

The catechism of the catholic Church is part of VCII and not in contradiction of VCII.
Lionel:
I interpret the Catechism and Vatican Council II without the false premise and conclusion.
You do not make this distinction.

You are systematically trying to drag even the most holy of Catholics down with your erroneous conclusions.
Lionel:
I am affirming the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus which does not mention any exceptions.
The Letter of the Holy Office 1949 was a break with the dogma and the Syllabus of Errors.
The magisterium accepted this break with Tradition. It was a new doctrine brought into the Catholic Church.
The break was possible because an irrational inference was used.No one identified it.
The same irrtionality is used to interpret Vatican Council II as a break with traditional teaching.
We have a choice.
We can use the irrational premise or avoid.
I assert my choice. I avoid it.

What is next for you Saint John Paul II when as part of VCII he said in in his encyclical Redemptoris Missio:
Lionel:
Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict I have pointed out in many blogposts also used the false premise and conclusion from the Letter of the Holy Office 1949.
We can see its influence in Redemptoris Missio and Dominus Iesus.

"The universality of salvation means that it is granted not only to those who explicitly believe in Christ and have entered the Church. Since salvation is offered to all, it must be made concretely available to all. But it is clear that today, as in the past, many people do not have an opportunity to come to know or accept the gospel revelation or to enter the Church. The social and cultural conditions in which they live do not permit this, and frequently they have been brought up in other religious traditions. For such people salvation in Christ is accessible by virtue of a grace which, while having a mysterious relationship to the Church, does not make them formally part of the Church but enlightens them in a way which is accommodated to their spiritual and material situation.
Lionel:
He is adapting to the error in the Letter of the Holy Office.
O.K say we agreed with this specuation, how is this case an explicit exception to the strict interpretation of the dogma in 2015?
And if it is not an exception then why did he have to mention it?

__________________________

This grace comes from Christ; it is the result of his Sacrifice and is communicated by the Holy Spirit. It enables each person to attain salvation through his or her free cooperation"
Lionel:
Yes I agree that this person can be saved and this speculative case, would be saved also with the baptism of water.

Our marching orders are simple in the words of Pope Pius IX in Singulari Quadum: " but, as long as we are on earth, weighed down by this mortal mass which blunts the soul, let us hold most firmly that, in accordance with Catholic
teaching, there is "one God, one faith, one baptism" [Eph. 4:5];
Lionel:
Before 1949 this one faith did not mention any explicit exceptions to the dogma.

it is unlawful to proceed further in inquiry" he was talking to ALL Catholics.
Lionel:
He was also talking to you who accept irrationality and heresy in the name of the Catholic Faith.

This will be my last communication with you until you recant your errors but be assured that you are in my prayers.
