Cardinal José Rodríguez Carballo should be saying that Vatican Council II is not a super dogma instead it is Rorate

Jose-rodriguez-carballo.jpgSince Archbishop Jose Rodrigues Carbello  is unable to say Vatican Council II affirms the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus in Ad Gentes 7 and that Nostra Aetate 2 is not an exception to exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church, he wants all  religious communities to interpret Vatican Council II using the irrational premise of being able to see  the deceased-saved.
After assuming salvation in Heaven is visible on earth, Nostra Aetate 2 ( a ray of Truth)  becomes an exception to the traditional interpretation of the dogma outside the Church there is no salvation.

It is this irrational interpretation of Vatican Council II with the dead man walking and visible theory that he wants the Franciscans of the Immaculate to  rubber stamp.

This fantasy  interpretation of  Nostra Aetate 2, 'a ray of the Truth' being not invisible but visible for us., is forced upon the Church by the Jewish Left and now he is 'shoving it down the  throat' of Catholic religious.

As an archbishop  he should be honest and say that there are no known exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus in 2014 and Nostra Aetate 2   is not an exception to the dogma on salvation.May be he just does not realize it like so many ohers.

Why should  Catholic religious say they can see the deceased on earth in 2014, saved with  'a ray of Truth' (NA 2) seeds of Word (AG 11), imperfect communion with the Church (UR 3) etc? Who among us can see explicit exceptions to Ad Gentes 7 saved with 'elements of  sanctification and truth(LG 8)?

Why does Archbishop Carbello not clarify for religious, that the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance were never ever  exceptions to the literal interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulal salus according to Fr.Leonard Feeney of Boston?

Also why do not journalists ask him these questions?

Rorate Caeli repeats that Vatican Council II was not a super dogma. This is because Rorate  still does not understand what I am saying here. If their correspondents understood and expressed it  then Archbishop Carbello and liberals would have to complain about Vatican Council II  not being a super dogma. The liberals would reject the Council since it is traditional on Judaism,Islam and Christian communities.

It is Archbishop  Carbello who really should have been complaining about Vatican Council II not being a  super dogma -  and not Rorate Caeili. But it is still Rorate and Una Voce! Oops!

The SSPX bishops and District Superiors like Rorate assume NA 2, UR 3 refer to explicit for us cases in 2014 who contradict the Syllabus of Errors and the Catechism of Pope Pius X.It's a mistake!

They assume that being saved in invincible ignorance or the baptism of desire are not hypothetical for us but are visible for us.Fundamental error! So there are exceptions to  extra ecclesiam nulla salus, defined by three Church Councils. The Church Councils made a mistake?!

It is unfortunate that many of the Franciscans of the Immaculate priests were not aware of this explicit-implicit,visible-invisible, defacto-dejure distinction.

Even Fr.John Zuhlsdorf and Fr.Ray Blake do not want to discuss this or they do not understand what I am saying.

A silver lining was Fr.John Hunwicke writing in January 2014 that Nostra Aetate does not contradict the traditional teaching on Catholic salvation.(1)

They all need to get Archbishop Carbello to say Vatican Council II does not contradict the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus unless you infer that what is invisible for us, is visible to the naked eye.It is as simple as that. He  must see that Vatican Council II only contradicts Tradition when he assumes that what is subjective for us is objective. It's as simple as that!

from Rorate Caeili

The Secretary of the Congregation for Consecrated Life, Franciscan José Rodríguez Carballo, for the past year number two of this Vatican organism charged with religious life, was in [Barcelona,] Spain this past weekend [May 3-4] to attend the meeting of the Union of Religious of Catalonia. [Infovaticana, en español]
----
This is a moment of "chaos, dark night, and twilight" for religious life, that sees the number of members and vocations fall, especially in Europe. But "it is a critical situation that is also an opportunity for the beginning of something new." ...

José Rodríguez Carballo mentioned as an important point of religious life fidelity to Vatican II: "For the consecrated, the Council is a point that cannot be negotiated." And he affirmed that those who search into the reforms of Vatican II all the ailments of religious life "deny the presence of the Holy Spirit in the Church."

He explained that in the Congregation for Consecrated Life, they are "particularly concerned" with this matter: "we are seeing true deviations." Above all because "not a few institutes give not only a pre-conciliar, but even an anti-conciliar formation. This is inadmissible, it is to place oneself outside of history. It is something that worries us greatly in the Congregation." [Catalunya Religió, en català]

Lady Hale is promoting the political left version of Vatican Council II at the University of Bristol, England

It is over two weeks and there has been no response from any one at the University of Bristol including that of the office of the Chancellor and Vice Chancellor. The Baroness of Richmond Lady Hale will not explain how can deceased-non Catholics, saved with ' a ray of Truth' be exceptions to the traditional teaching of the Catholic Church which says all need to be members of the Church for salvation. Neither will she explain how can a video on the website of the university suggest that Vatican Council II states there are explicit exceptions, the deceased are visible, to traditional Catholic teaching.Where is this text in Vatican Council II?
This is all irrational not only for academics but also an ignorant person in Britain, who understands that we Catholics and all humans in general cannot see the deceased now in Heaven. This is common knowledge.
By not clarifying that the university's  Department of Religion and Theology has made a mistake, a factual mistake of assuming Catholics can see the dead-saved and Vatican Council II allegedly corroborates this objective error, Lady Hale is supporting a politicised version of Vatican Council II.

She is trying to say like Cardinal Kurt Koch, the President of the Vatican Council for Christian Unity and relations with the Jews, that  Vatican Council II states Jews and Christians, do not need to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation. She is implying that Muslims in Bristol do not need to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation and this is the teaching of Vatican Council II.
This is the Jewish Left version of Vatican Council II approved by the ADL and the liberal-left rabbis like Jonathan Sachs in England.

Cardinal Jean-Louis Pierre Tauran must accept Vatican Council II and set an example for the Catholic religious communities and SSPX

Cardinal Jean-Louis Pierre Tauran is President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue. He has never affirmed Ad Gentes 7 in public with reference  to Muslims and other non Catholics.

The following text from Vatican Council II is binding on Cardinal Jean-Louis Pierre Tauran  and  the Society of St.Pius X.
Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door.-Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II

According to Ad  Gentes 7 all non Catholics need faith and baptism for salvation. This means  Vatican Council II is saying that all  Muslims and others need to enter the Church to go to Heaven and avoid Hell.

Cardinal Tauran rejects the above quotation of Ad Gentes 7. He rejects Vatican Council II.

Cardinal Tauran must also agree that there is nothing in Nostra Aetate which contradicts Ad Gentes 7. Since those saved with a 'a ray of that Truth' are not known to us in 2014.These are unknown cases and so they cannot be exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus. Neither are they exceptions to Ad Gentes 7.Vatican Council II does not contradict itself. Nostra Aetate does not contradict Ad Gentes 7.

Vatican Council II is traditional on the subject of other religions and Christian communities. It is pro- SSPX.  The Council is saying that Protestants and Orthodox Christians need Catholic Faith for salvation (AG 7) and  Muslims,Jews  and others need Catholic Faith and the baptism of water for salvation (AG 7).

So when Cardinal Tauran and the Vatican want  the Society of  St.Pius X and Catholic reliogious communities like the Franciscans of the Immaculate  to accept Nostra Aetate he  must clarify that for him  (1)  there are no cases known of a non Catholic saved with ' a ray of that Truth'  and (2)  Ad Gentes 7, indicates that the Muslims  need 'faith and baptism' to avoid Hell-fires.This is Vatican Council II.
If Vatican Council II continues to be a condition for the Vatican to recognize religious communities, as I mentioned in a previous post, then the Vatican  Council for Interreligious Dialogue  must clarify that Vatican Council II is not a break with the Catechism of Pope Pius XII, the Syllabus of Errors and extra ecclesiam nulla salus.Neither does it contradict Dominus Iesus, Redemptoris Missio, Ecclesiam Suam and Evangelii Nuntiandi of Pope Paul VI,nor the Catechism of the Catholic Church of Pope John Paul II.

Letter of Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone on the Revised Good Friday Prayer for the Conversion of the Jews.
Bertone, Tarcisio
Città del Vaticano, 2008/05/14

Mr Oded Wiener
Director-General of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel
Beit Yahav
80 Yirmiyahu Street
P.O. Box 36016
Jerusalem

Dear Sir,

I write with reference to the Statement issued by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel in response to the publication of the Note of 4 February 2008, altering the Oremus et pro Iudaeis prayer in the 1962 edition of the Missale Romanum.

In this regard, I would point out that – by means of the "Communiqué of the Secretariat of State" which appeared in the daily edition of L'Osservatore Romano on 5 April 2008, and subsequently in the weekly language editions of the same publication – the Holy See has clearly emphasized the Catholic Church's firm commitment, especially in the wake of the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council, to promote and develop relations with the Jews through dialogue marked by profound respect, sincere esteem and cordial friendship. This commitment remains unchanged, especially in view of the spiritual links that exist between Jews and Christians.

As you have observed, particular prominence has also been given to a substantial and detailed article on the subject by Cardinal Walter Kasper, President of the Commission for Religious Relations with Judaism. This article appeared on the front page of L'Osservatore Romano on 10 April 2008, (it denied Jews needed to convert into the Catholic Church according to Vatican Council II) as a sign of the importance attributed to the text and the fact that what it says about the new version of the Prayer for the Jews in the 1962 edition of the Roman Missal is commonly held. Among other things, the Cardinal emphasized that a sincere dialogue between Jews and Christians is possible, on the one hand, on the basis of our common faith in the one God, Creator of heaven and earth, and in the promises made to Abraham, but on the other hand, through respectfully acknowledging the fundamental difference over faith in Jesus as Christ and Redeemer of all mankind.(He denies the necessity of the Church for salvation) As Cardinal Kasper clearly explains, the new Oremus et pro Iudaeis is not intended to promote proselytism towards the Jews and it opens up an eschatological perspective. (Jews do not have to convert in the present times) Christians, however, cannot but bear witness to their faith, in full and total respect for the freedom of others, and this leads them also to pray that all will come to recognize Christ.

Likewise, on his recent visit to the United States of America, the Holy Father gave a number of indications of his sentiments towards the Jews. Indeed, after meeting the representatives of various religions, the Pope particularly wanted to receive a group of Jewish religious leaders in order to hand over to them a special Message on the occasion of the great feast of Pesah, devoted to celebrating the great marvels that Almighty God has worked for his people.

In New York, His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI visited a synagogue in order to meet personally a Jewish community whose Rabbi was a survivor from the Nazi extermination camps. He wanted to manifest his sympathy, affection and closeness to the Jewish people, and to demonstrate, through a tangible and special gesture, the Holy See's commitment to respectful and loving dialogue, which leads to ever deeper relations of friendship and understanding.

In the hope that this letter may serve to dispel any remaining doubt on the part of the Chief Rabbinate over the Catholic Church's stance towards the Jewish people and over the intentions behind the alteration of the Oremus et pro Iudaeis of the 1962 Missale Romanum, I remain

Yours sincerely,
Tarcisio Card. Bertone

Secretary of State

CARDINAL KOCH MUST BE ASKED TO ACCEPT VATICAN COUNCIL II

All the doctrinal decisions of the church are binding on a Catholic, including the Second Vatican Council and all its texts," Cardinal Koch said when asked if the SSPX would be expected to accept all the teachings of Vatican II. "The 'Nostra Aetate' declaration of the Second Vatican Council is a clear decree and is important for every Catholic," he added.-Cardinal Kurt Koch, CNS report http://www.catholicnews.com/data/stories/cns/1202023.htm

The following text from Vatican Council II is binding on Cardinal Kurt Koch and  the Society of St.Pius X.

This means  Vatican Council II is saying that all Jews, Muslims and others need to enter the Church to go to Heaven and avoid Hell.

Cardinal Kurt Koch rejects the above quotation of Ad Gentes 7. He rejects Vatican Council II when he states 'While Catholics profess that, in the end, all salvation will be accomplished through Jesus Christ,( Note: Cardinal Kurt Koch  is not saying that Jews in the present times (2014) need 'faith and baptism' for salvation)  "it does not necessarily follow that the Jews are excluded from God's salvation because they do not believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah of Israel and the son of God," ( Again he is not saying that Jews in the present time need to convert into the Church with faith and baptism for salvation. He is still denying Ad Gentes 7)  the cardinal said. "That the Jews are participants in God's salvation is theologically unquestionable, (Still he is denying Ad Gentes 7, the Catechism of the Catholic Church 846 - 'all need to enter the Church as through a door', Dominus Iesus 20 and the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus) but how that can be possible without confessing Christ explicitly is and remains an unfathomable divine mystery." ( He is denying Vatican Council II, Ad Gentes 7 and is calling it a mystery)

Cardinal Kurt Koch must also agree that there is nothing in Nostra Aetate which contradicts Ad Gentes 7.
The Council is saying that Protestants and Orthodox Christians need Catholic Faith for salvation (AG 7) and Jews, Muslims and others need Catholic Faith and the baptism of water for salvation (AG 7).

So when Cardinal Kurt Koch says that the Society of  St.Pius X must accept Nostra Aetate the must clarify that for him  (1)  there are no cases known of a non Catholic saved with ' a ray of that Truth'  and (2)  Ad Gentes 7, indicates that the Jews need 'faith and baptism' to avoid Hell-fires.This is Vatican Council II.

If Vatican Council II continues to be a condition for the Vatican to recognize religious communities, then the Vatican Prefect for the Council for Christian Unity must clarify that Vatican Council II is not a break with the Catechism of Pope Pius XII, the Syllabus of Errors and extra ecclesiam nulla salus.Neither does it contradict Dominus Iesus, Redemptoris Missio, Ecclesiam Suam and Evangelii Nuntiandi of Pope Paul VI,nor the Catechism of the Catholic Church of Pope John Paul II.
-Lionel Andrades

ACN: But what does that mean? Are there two separate ways of salvation, then, for Jews and Christians? Abraham and Moses for the one group, Jesus Christ for the other? Then the Jews would be an exception to the Church’s commission to evangelize.
Cardinal Koch: For Christians there is naturally only one way of salvation, which God revealed to us in Jesus Christ. On the other hand we Christians, in dealing with the Jews, do not have to bear witness to a way of salvation that is completely foreign to them, as is the case with other religions. For the New Testament is built entirely on the Old Testament. For this reason the Catholic Church has no organized mission to the Jews, as is the case for instance in certain Evangelical circles. On the other hand, we Christians witness to the Jews also concerning the hope that faith in Christ gives us. (Emphasis added)

ACN: The pontificate of Pope Benedict XVI was felt by many Jews to be a step backward from Nostra Aetate. They cite the new formula for the Good Friday petition in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite of the Mass or the Williamson case. Can you understand views of this sort?
Cardinal Koch: All told, I see no obstacles to the Jewish-Catholic dialogue in the pontificate of Benedict XVI. On the contrary. There were quite a few Jews who after his resignation emphasized that relations had never been as good as during the last pontificate. The Good Friday petition is actually not a call to mission work among the Jews, as it is often misunderstood, but rather adopts the eschatological perspective of the Apostle Paul. Pope Benedict himself honestly admitted that in the Williamson case there were serious blunders in the preparations for and the announcement of the lifting of the excommunications. Therefore in my view it makes no sense to repeat these misunderstandings over and over, instead of appreciating the great contribution of Pope Benedict to the Jewish-Catholic dialogue. In this respect he carried on and enriched the great heritage of Pope John Paul II. (Emphasis added)
