Every single person who believes in Jesus Christ should belong to the same Church-Michael Voris, Real Catholic TV.com

Real Catholic TV.com is affirming the literal interpretation of the dogma no salvation outside the church since there is nothing in the Catechism which contradicts the centuries-old interpretation.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church refers to the ‘affirmation’ (CCC 846) and does not contradict the dogma which indicates millions are on the path to Hell in other religions including Christian Churches and communities.

So when Michael Voris says outside the Church there is no salvation (1:36) he is referring to CCC 845, 846,1257and the literal interpretation of the dogma thrice defined.

CCC 846 when it says ‘ all salvation comes from Christ the Head through the Church which is his Body’ does not contradict Michael Voris or  the dogma Cantate Domino, Council of Florence. Those who are saved are saved through Jesus and the Church and all need to convert into the Church there being no known exceptions.

CCC 1257 when it says God is not limited to the Sacraments does not contradict Voris or the dogma. Those who are saved and who are not members of the visible Church, are not known exceptions. These excptional cases are known only to God so they do not contradict Michael Voris and the dogma.

Here is the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. It was defined by three Church Councils.

“There is but one universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved.” (Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, 1215.)

“We declare, say, define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull Unam Sanctam, 1302.)

“The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation, and they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, their almsgivings, their other works of Christian piety and the duties of a Christian soldier. No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.) from Catholicism.org
So when Michael Voris on Real Catholic TV refers to outside the church there is no salvation he means, outside the church no salvation as interpreted by the Church Councils, the popes, the saints and Fr.Leonard Feeney. Since the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance or a good conscience are explicit only in Heaven. -Lionel Andrades

They preach the Catholic truth that outside the Church there is no salvation (1:36)

Every single person who believes in Jesus Christ should belong to the same Church, they should believe the same things, They should worship the same way. (3:39- 3:50)

LUMEN GENTIUM 16 DOES NOT CONTRADICT AD GENTES 7, VATICAN COUNCIL II

On the internet forum True Catholic , Maragaret Anne writes:

Lionel, "Outside the Church there is no salvation" does NOT mean that only Catholics can be saved. It means that "all salvation comes from Christ, the Head - through the Church which is His Body" (CCC 846)

And, "Those who , through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do His will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience - those too may achieve eternal salvation" - Lumen Gentium 16

1. I agree that outside the Church there is no salvation in one sense does not mean that only Catholics can be saved. LG 16 refers to those in invincible ignorance and saved with a good conscience.

2.However outside the Church there is no salvation in another sense also means all people on earth need to enter the Church, with Catholic Faith and the baptism of water for salvation.(Ad Gentes  7).

N.1 is not contradicted by N.2. Explcitly every one needs to enter the Church with Catholic Faith and the baptism of water and there are no known exceptions, we do not know anyone saved implicitly in invincible ignorance or a good conscience and who are now in Heaven.

CCC 846 refers to N.1 when it says all who are saved are saved through Jesus and the Church.

CCC 846 also refers to N.2 when it says all need to enter the Church 'as through a door' and Catholic Faith and the baptism of water are needed for all for salvation (AG 7).

So N.1 also does not contradict the dogma which says all need to convert into the Church to avoid the fires of Hell.(Cantate Domino, Council of Florence).
