Pope Benedict, Cardinal Kasper's false arguments for Synod Report : Vatican Council II agrees with the dogma extra ecclesiam nullas salus as it was interpreted by the 16th century missionaries

Catholics have to be prepared for Cardinal Walter Kasper's false arguments when the Synod Report is out. He  will say since the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS)  has been discarded and developed the Church's teachings on giving the Eucharist to the divorced and remarried or persons in mortal sin, also  needs to be changed.
It is important to note after Easter that the teachings on EENS has not been developed if there is no known salvation outside the Church. It is only by assuming there is known salvation outside the Church that it is possible to change this dogma on salvation. Cardinal Kasper has to confuse what is invisible as being visible. Then he has to infer that these invisible cases are 'visible  exceptions' to the dogma EENS and so the dogma has 'developed'.
Cardinal  Kasper has already stated in an interview that if ecclesiology can be changed then even the practise of giving the Eucharist to the divorced and remarried can be changed.1
He and others are expected to cite the recent interview given by Pope Benedict XVI to Avvenire on the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus having been developed by Vatican Council II and the faith having been changed.2
It has been reported that 'Benedict XVI. proceeds in his reply in detail on the "development of this dogma" Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus, because since the beginning of modern times, the historical perspectives with respect to the Middle Ages had changed "radically".'
Lionel:
When this argument is used it is important to point out that the change is only there when it is assumed there is known salvation outside the Church.Without this premise there is no change in the interpretation of the dogma.

When Kasper quotes Pope Benedict saying,'Thus, with the fact that the Second Vatican Council has "definitely" abandoned the belief that there is no salvation for unbaptized..."' the contrary has to be shown.
Lionel:
It has to be said that Vatican Council II (AG 7, LG 14) says 'all' need 'faith and baptism' for salvation. Most people die without 'faith and baptism'. They are oriented to Hell at the time of death. So Vatican Council II is in agrement with the dogma extra ecclesiam nullas salus as it was interpreted by the 16th century missionaries.

Cardinal Kasper could point out to Pope Benedict XVI saying "On the one hand it seems to withdraw any ... future missionary commitment. Why convince people of accepting the Christian faith, even if they can be saved without it?".
Lionel:
It is important to note that Pope Benedict assumes there is salvation outside the Church even though he does not know of any one saved outside the church during his life time.No one in the past too could have seen someone in Heaven saved without 'faith and baptism'. So the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 made an objective mistake when it suggests the baptism of desire etc refers to known cases, visible  to human beings. It was then assumed that that it was an exception to the Feeneyite interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus. So there is no known salvation outside the church for the pope.
Pope Benedict's theology, is the same as that of Fr.Karl Rahner and it is based on a factual error i.e being physically able to see people  in Heaven or on earth saved without the baptism of water in the Catholic Church.

Pope Benedict said 'but for Christians, the question on the necessity of faith and manner of life was uncertain and problematic.'

Lionel:

No it is not uncertain. Our Faith is clear as it was to the 16th century missionaries who did not assume hypothetical cases, invisible for us human beings, were objectively seen.

If there are those who can be saved in other ways, it is ultimately not evident why the Christian should be linked to the need of the Christian faith and its morals.
Lionel:
Pope Benedict assumes Lumen Gentium 14 ( being saved in invincible ignorance) refers to not invisible but visible cases. So for him Vatican Council II (LG 14) is a break with the dogma EENS.
But for me LG 14 refers to invisible cases known only to God if they exist. So for me LG 14 is not a break with the dogma EENS.
Since LG 14 refers to known cases for Pope Benedict and Cardinal Kasper, there is a development of doctrine on EENS.
Since for me LG 14 refers to invisible cases, not objectively seen, there is no development of doctrine on EENS based on LG 14.
Since LG 14 refers to objectively visible cases for Pope Benedict there is salvation outside the Church and so 'there are those who can be saved in other ways'.
For me there is no objectively visible case of someone saved in invincible ignorance or a good conscience and that too without the baptism of water. So there are no known cases of 'those who can be saved in other ways'.
The dogma EENS has not changed for me and EENS should not be used as an argument to give the Eucharist to the divorced and remarried.
______________________________
Pope Benedict observed ,as if in preparation for the Synod report ,'But if the faith and salvation are not dependent on each other, the faith is also groundless.'
Lionel:
Faith and salvation are dependent on each other.Every one needs to be a Catholic for salvation. This includes non Catholics and non Christians. The dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus is clear and it is not contradicted by Vatican Council II. Vatican Council II ( in which LG 14 refers to invisible cases) supports EENS according to the 16th century missionaries.

Pope Benedict uses irrational Cushingism as a theology to interpret Vatican Council II and extra ecclesiam nulla salus : he was unaware of the choice

You can interpret Vatican Council II without the new theology. Try it and see.
