HUMAN LIFE INTERNATIONAL INVITES MEDIA INTERVIEWS OF PRESIDENT

Here are a set of questions, with anticipated answers, to ask him

For media requests email Stephen Phelan at sphelan@hli.org, or call 540-551-2547

If you are a  journalist who has been granted an appointment please ask Mons. Ignacio Barreiro Interim President, Human Life International if he affirms and agrees with:

1. Cantata Domino, Council of Florence, ex cathedra on extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
2. Dominus Iesus 20, Ad Gentes 7, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church 845,846 in accord with Cantate Domino.

The President of HLI is required to 'give public witness to the authentic teachings of the Catholic Church'. Total fidelity to Church teachings is required (See FOR APPLICANTS: President Human Life International).

If he does not answer the question: ‘Do you affirm and agree with the Catholic ex cathedra dogma Cantate Domino?’ assume the answer is NO. (If he does answer YES please inform me Lionel Andrades E-mail: lionelandrades10@gmail.com )

If the answer is NO please ask him

1) How can he hold his post as President according to Catholic Canon Law? A juridical person according to Canon Law i.e. a Rector or President, has to be a Catholic. Here he is not affirming the Catholic Faith.

2) How can he claim he is a priest in good standing? He is not affirming in public an ex cathedra dogma and post Vatican Council II documents which support it.

If he answers that he affirms extra ecclesiam nulla salus as ‘the Church teaches it' and ‘as expressed in the Catechism’ ask him:

1. For Mons. Barreiro does the Catechism say only those people who know about Jesus and the Church and yet do not enter are on the way to Hell? Only those people?

If his answer is YES, note this is the liberal secular interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS). It has no basis in the Deposit of the Faith which says everyone with no exception needs to enter the Church formally. It’a rejection of Cantate Domino. To knowingly reject an ex cathedra dogma is a mortal sin.

It is also a rejection of another part of the Catechism 845,846. CCC 846 says everyone needs to enter the Church as through a door. This is the traditional teaching.

Point out the difference to Mons. Barreiro i.e.
1. the liberal secular interpretation and
2. The traditional, centuries old interpretation on EENS.

Ask him if there is any Magisterial text or Church announcement which says that the liberal, secular interpretation is what ‘the Church teaches’ on extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

He will not be able to cite any text.

Remind him that he has

1. not affirmed Cantate Domino,

2. claimed the teaching as been changed through the Catechism (or Vatican Council II)

3. and not been able to cite any Magisterial text or church announcement to back his claim.

Is this not heresy?

An HLI President in manifest, public heresy?

If he says that the text itself in the Catechism (or Vatican Council II) is ‘proof’ i.e. those who know about the church and do not enter are oriented to Hell is the proof itself. Point out to him that there is another interpretation of that same text by a Catholic who affirms Cantate Domino and Vatican Council II and attends the Novus Ordo Mass. So the text is neutral in the Catechism.

So we now have a liberal interpretation of a neutral text and a traditional interpretation.

HLI has chosen the liberal interpretation and claims it is ‘proof’.

We are back to the heresy charge.

The same set of questions can also be asked of other Catholic leaders of pro life organisations e.g. Fr. Frank Pavone, Priests for Life. Once one knows the questions and anticipates the answers and further questions, all one has to do is quote Barreiro/Pavone. The pattern of the answers you will see are the same with the liberals.

HLI DENIES THE FAITH SINCE IT DOESN’T WANT TO CREATE PROBLEMS FOR ITSELF. THE MOTHER ABORTS FOR THE SAME REASON

The worldly prudent President of the Human Life International (HLI) will deny the Catholic Faith in public to protect his interest and those of the organisation. He denies an ex cathedra dogma ‘in season and out’ to protect his worldly reputation. Then HLI will provide professional help to mothers and will ask them not to abort their babies for worldly motives. They would be advised not to abort to protect their lifestyle, their reputation and for other worldly prudent reasons.

Today HLI will pray for the unborn all over the world, support the Holy Father and Mons. Barreiro will offer the Tridentine Latin Rite Mass as if all is well.

NO CONTRADICTION FROM HLI : HOLDS LEFTIST,SECULAR INTERPRETATION OF EXTRA ECCLESIAM NULLA SALUS AND EXPECTS CATHOLICS TO BE FAITHFUL TO CHURCH TEACHING ON CONTRACEPTIVES

The Interim President of human Life International has not contradicted the report which states he rejects the rigorist interpretation of the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) and affirm the leftist, secular interpretation of the infallible teaching. Yet HLI would expect all Catholics to be faithful to the Church’s teachings on contraceptives.

Mons. Ignacio Barreiro, is the Interim President of Human Life International (HLI) and is on the Advisory Board of the American Catholic Lawyers Association (420 U.S. Highway Rt. 46, Suite 7, P.O. Box 10092, Fairfield, NJ 07004 Tel. (973) 244-9895 (973) 244-9895 Fax: (973) 244-9897

The former President of the HLI Fr. Thomas Euteneur has criticized dissenter on contraceptives Charles Curran and others with reports on the HLI website. Yet Fr. Euteneur and Mons. Barreiro is dissenting on the dogma Cantate Domino. It’s also a rejection of Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II, the Catechism of the Catholic Church 845,846, Dominus Iesus 20 etc.

HLII criticizes Planned Parenthood (PP) for hits pro death activity. PP could criticize HLI for not affirming and agreeing with Cantate Domino and using a leftist secular altered version of the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

If Barreiro can make an excuse then why not pro abortion Catholics too? Everything is relative it would seem.

There has been no contradiction from Human Life International to the following post which was e-mailed to them.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 2010
PLANNED PARENTHOOD COULD ASK HUMAN LIFE INTERNATIONAL TO AFFIRM CANTATE DOMINO AS AN EXAMPLE FOR PRO-ABORTION CATHOLICS

Presently there are two versions of extra ecclesiam nulla salus in circulation among Catholics.

1. The Jewish Left media, secular version.

2. The traditional, centuries-old version.

The progressivist, liberal version (N.1 above) of extra ecclesiam nulla salus uses

1. A de facto-de facto analysis of the writings of the popes and Church Fathers.

2. Considers those saved in invincible ignorance as being known to us explicitly. So Lumen Gentium 16, for them, contradicts the dogma Cantate Domino.

3. Cannot provide any Magisterial text which indicates that the Church has retracted or changed extra ecclesiam nulla salus. The statements of the popes and Church Fathers are cited as 'proof ‘using the ' defacto- defacto' analysis. This is irrational, contrary to the Principle of Non Contradiction and heretical since it contradicts an ‘infallible statement’ (Pope Pius XII, Letter of the Holy Office 1949); Cantate Domino.

There are no Magisterial texts to support these three hypotheses. However dissenters ‘prove’ their assertion by not using the traditional defacto-de jure analysis of magisterial texts. Instead it is replaced with a defacto-defacto analysis which comes through as irrational. It is also heretical since its is a rejection of the ex cathedra dogma Cantate Domino, Council of Florence, on extra ecclesiam nulla salus. Dissenters often quote Fr.William Most's article on the EWTN website.

For example

Pope Pius IX in an Allocution, December 9, 1854 wrote:

"We must hold as of the faith, that out of the Apostolic Roman Church there is no salvation; that she is the only ark of safety, and whosoever is not in her perishes in the deluge; we must also, on the other hand, recognize with certainty that those who are invincible in ignorance of the true religion are not guilty for this in the eyes of the Lord. And who would presume to mark out the limits of this ignorance according to the character and diversity of peoples, countries, minds and the rest?” –EWTN, Fr. William Most.
Catholic dissenters like Fr. Hans Kung say : Everybody de facto needs to enter the Catholic Church for salvation and those who are in invincible ignorance are de facto known to us and so do not de facto have to enter the Church. So this is an exception to the ex cathedra Cantate Domino. It is also a rejection of the teaching of the infallibility of the pope says Fr.Kung.

Pope Pius IX is saying de facto every one needs to enter the Church with no exceptions (Cantate Domino) and de jure there could be those saved in invincible ignorance etc and they would be known only to God.

For me it says: Everybody de facto needs to enter the Catholic Church for salvation and there are no exceptions, de jure (in principle, as an acceptable concept) those in invincible ignorance of the true religion; the Catholic Faith can be saved, in ‘certain circumstances’ (Letter of the Holy Office 1949) and so they would be known to God only.

To interpret Pope Pius IX’s statement with a defacto-defacto analysis is contrary to the Principle of Non Contradiction.

So now we have two interpretations of extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the leftist one is being affirmed by Mons.Barreiro.

Here is the ex cathedra dogma

1. “There is but one universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved.” (Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, 1215). Ex cathedra.

2.“We declare, say, define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull Unam Sanctam, 1302.).Ex cathedra.

3.“The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation, and they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, their almsgivings, their other works of Christian piety and the duties of a Christian soldier. No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.) Ex cathedrafrom the website Catholicism.org and “No Salvation outside the Church”: Link List, the Three Dogmatic Statements Regarding EENS http://nosalvationoutsideofthecatholicchurch.blogspot.com/
If an exception can be made by the priests and lay leaders at HLI then those supporting the culture of death could also wrongly suggest that the Catholic Church and HLI could change teachings on many subjects and there is no objective reality.

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Vatican can clarify the extra ecclesiam nulla salus issue in three simple steps.

They can announce that

1. All Magisterial text with reference to this issue is not to be analysed with a defacto-defacto concept.

Traditionally in the Church and in secular institutions a de facto-dejure analysis has been used. The words de facto and dejure are used in the Introduction to Dominus Iesus. It is explained in secular dictionaries and used in political science and jurisprudence over the years.

This is something objective and rational and not an issue of theology.

2. There is no such thing as an explicit, knowable-to-us baptism of desire. Neither can we humans know in particular who is being saved in invincible ignorance or with a good conscience.

This too is a common sense issue.

3. There is no Church Document, no Magisterial text which retracted or changed extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the ex cathedra dogma Cantate Domino.

The CDF could announce Point N.1 above and wait for six months as Catholics assimilate it and then announce Point N.2 and then after six months Point N.3. So within a year Catholics will gradually understand the traditional, centuries old teaching on outside he Church there is no salvation as expressed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church (845,846), Vatican Council II, Ad Gentes 7, Dominus Iesus 20 etc.

CATHOLICS ARE MIXING UP THE LEFTIST AND TRADITIONAL INTERPRETATION OF EENS AND THERE IS A LOT OF CONFUSION

When you talk to an average Catholic here and see what is being taught in the Pontifical seminaries and universities in Rome on extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) it is clear that there is a major mix up and plenty of avoidable confusion. This can all be cleared by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in three simple statements.

If there are two interpretations of EENS in circulation can there also be two interpretations of the Catechism and Vatican Council II?

The last motu proprio issued by the Holy Father on Evangelisation recently, called to follow the Catechism.

Yes of course! But which interpretation some Catholics could ask.

The Catechism and Vatican Council II are magisterial documents and so are in accord with traditional magisterial teaching. The Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI has said that Vatican Council II is not a break from Tradition.

So one can interpret the Catechism keeping the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus before you and being in accord with Tradition. Or we can interpret the Catechism as we like, going off on a tangent often and not even knowing it.

Many of the liberal interpretations of the Catechism present us with statements which are not part of the Catholic Deposit of Faith.

It is promoted by the secular media and so Catholics believe it is the new teachings of the Church.

Remembering Father Slavko Barbaric, OFM (from the blog DA MIHI ANIMAS)

November 24 is the 10th anniversary of the death of Father Slavko Barbaric, OFM of Medjugorje. This saintly man was a wonderful witness to so many pilgrims. Let's pray that we might imitate him and the sentiments he expressed in his last homily (read below). Hat tip to The North East for the following:

At the top of the 'hill of the cross' or 'Krusevac' is a plaque commemorating the place where Father Slavko died. The story of how he died is incredible.

With tears in her eyes, our Croatian guide described how he climbed the hill every day of his life since the apparitions began and how he always took a bag to collect any accumulated litter which he happened to spot whilst praying and stepping over rocks. She related the story of how he reached the last station of the cross and said to those around him ' We will now pray for all the pilgrims in Medjugorje and we we will now pray for the next one to die.'

He then sat down and died.

The next day the visionaries were told by Our Lady that their brother Slavko had entered Heaven and was now interceding for them.

THE LAST HOMILY OF Fr SLAVKO BARBARIC O.F.M.

Given on the morning of his last day on earth, November 24, 2000, at 9.00am Mass in St James’ Church, Medjugorje.

The unity of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Almost every message of Our Lady ends with the sentence, ‘Thank you for having responded to my call’. I have often asked myself, whom does Our Lady give thanks to, who is so important that she comes down from Heaven to say ‘Thank you’ to that person? She does not expect a lot from us, but she sees everything good we have done already and that is why she thanks us.

FORGIVENESS

Let us also ask God's forgiveness for all that was not good, where selfishness, jealousy or arrogance prevailed in the past, so that, by our prayer and fasting, we may help in the dawning of a new time; as Our Lady said in her last message (25th October 2000) I would like to say quite consciously, together with Mary, once more ‘Thanks’ to all who have answered her messages in their own special way. It is always good to know, time and again, that Our Lady cannot do anything without our help! When we heard her ‘Thank you’ for the very first time, we were somehow taken aback, for we are used to ask God for everything.

Of course, there is nothing wrong in expecting everything from God, to ask and pray to Him, the Almighty One – but there is a message coming back to us, saying: ‘I need you, you are important to me, I cannot do anything without your help!’ We often cannot comprehend this, but it is truly a fact. God wanted each and everyone of us, at our time, in our own surroundings, where we live. He wanted us and He has bestowed certain talents to us, which He wants to develop and make grow in us by His grace, so that we may serve Him by using our talents.

CRITICISM

Everyone who, by using his or her talents, serves, loves, believes and hopes, is helping and respects others. We all are essential, in our time, at our place in our life, where God has decided us to be. I have often said this to people who criticise others a lot, or to those who believe they themselves would have done better had they been in God’s position. If God would have thought that you would have lived and served better at a different time or at a different place, then He would not have put you where you are now, but at that other place. Never say ‘I’ in God's place, but rather open your eyes and ears to your time and to your neighbour with whom you live. This is your very first task; this is where you are irreplaceable; this is where you are important for God and this is where God cannot do anything without your help. In that way we experience God's love and, His love, that same love reaches others through us.

GOD NEEDS US

When we receive consolation from God, it is only right to give it to others and – this we can only do at the time, at the place where we are just now. Only there, and now, can we do God's will and He cannot do anything without our help. Mary has succeeded in one thing during these 19 years and 5 months: Many people, who thought it sufficient to attend Holy Mass on Sundays only, have become very active in their religious life through the messages. That is why we can say today ‘Thank you’ for all the people across the whole world, who consciously spread the messages, with Our Lady's and other's help.

A Croatian monk, a missionary who spent his time in India, once told me that every Saturday night and evening programme like the one in Medjugorje is being celebrated not just in one parish, but in several. This is another reason for Mary saying in her last message, that she thanked God and is delighted that so many people have come here during this Jubilee year and that the Church has been spiritually renewed.

I believe we still must change quite a lot ourselves, for instance, to be able to see the Church and our families with the eyes of Mary. We are often inclined to judge and to complain about people and our time when we look at the world around us. Of course, there are a lot of problems. But Mary looks upon this world with different eyes than we do. She sees the good, however small, however insignificant. She recognises it and is grateful for it.

GRATITUDE

Gratitude is the best guideline in education. When you want to educate someone, you must first look at the good inside that person; however insignificantly small it may be. Then you must try and visualise how the individual could be and work on that together with the person. If we are blind to these things we only see the negative aspects; things that are imperfect; things alien to our momentary fancy and so we can get cracking with our criticism; we condemn and reject.

Mary, on the other hand, only sees the good things in this world. She also sees what could be better, and right there she begins with her teaching. Read the messages! They are positive and they give hope, they are encouraging. In the same way, Mary has awakened the positive power within us and that is why we thank her.

The one who follows Mary has no time to criticise. Mary gives us courage to do something even where we might believe it might disturb, or not be good, or be too much for us. Only in this way can Mary, together with her Son Jesus, enter the third Millennium. Therefore, thank all the people in the world who follow Mary, who visit us untiringly, who organise pilgrimages without ever getting tired.

Let, as Mary says, a new dawn arise, a new springtime. It is not springtime in a calendar sense, but it is springtime of a new decision. Let the New World begin, where we believe it is outdated, contaminated and destroyed. When you decide to love God and our neighbour as yourself and when many besides you do likewise, then the new time has arrived. Amen.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD COULD ASK HUMAN LIFE INTERNATIONAL TO AFFIRM CANTATE DOMINO AS AN EXAMPLE FOR PRO-ABORTION CATHOLICS

Before asking Catholics to be pro life Frs.Barreiro and  Euteneur could affirm Dominus Iesus 20, CCC 845, 846 and the rigorist interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus
The Interim President of Human Life International Mons. Ignacio Barreiro says he does not accept the rigorist interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus. Yet Mons. Barreiro would expect Catholics to be faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Fr. Thomas Euteneur, former President of HLI too would expect Catholics to be pro life but he himself would not be expected to affirm the dogma Cantate Domino.

What an example for Satan’s Planned Parenthood and pro abortion ‘Catholics’?!

The father of Eluana the man who had his daughter murdered through legal euthanasia in Italy could ask the Monsignor why did he pray for him and campaign against him, killing Eluana? He too could have two standards like Human Life International.

Pro-lifers should appeal to HLI to affirm all Catholic teaching especially the rigorist interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

When Catholics reject this faith-teaching then they soon reject the teachings on morals.

We need Frs. Barreiro and Euteneur to say ,”I agree, I affirm Cantate Domino, Dominus Iesus 20, Ad Gentes 7 and the Catechism of the Catholic Church 845,846’.

Mons. Barreiro is probably a financial-donor to LifeSites.com who’s Catholic Editor John Henry Weston will not affirm the dogma but expects Catholics to be pro life. They will not publish reports supporting the dogma.

Mons. Barreiro holds the progressivist interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus. It says 'everyone needs to enter the Catholic Church for salvation except those in invincible ignorance, the baptism of desire etc.' This is the liberal, secular Jewish Left media  mantra.

Note. 'Everyone needs to enter the Church' is left vague. It does not say ‘with no exception’. It then suggests that those saved with the Baptism of Desire or invincible ignorance is known to us explicilty  and so everyone does not need to enter the Church. There could be people saved with the baptism of desire etc and who are explictly known to us and so they do not have to de facto enter the Church.  It contradicts the first part of the statement. The second part of the mantra contradicts the first part. It also contradicts the dogma Cantate Domini.

The traditional centuries-old interpretation of Cantate Domino indicates everyone with no exception needs to enter the Church to avoid Hell and go to Heaven. If anyone is saved with the Baptism of Desire etc it would be ‘in certain circumstances’ and known only to God.

Si! Per Benedetto

THREE COMMONSENSE STEPS FOR THE CONGREGATION FOR THE DOCTRINE OF THE FAITH, VATICAN TO RESOLVE THE EXTRA ECCLESIAM NULLA SALUS CONFUSION

Presently there are two versions of extra ecclesiam nulla salus in circulation among Catholics.

1. The Jewish Left media, secular version.

2. The traditional, centuries old version.

The progressivist, liberal version (N.1 above) of extra ecclesiam nulla salus uses

1. A de facto-de facto analysis of the writings of the popes and Church Fathers.

2.Considers those saved in invincible ignorance as being known to us explicitly.

No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.) CDF PLEASE REVIEW MICHAEL MAZZA AND FR. MOST'S ARTICLES ON THE INTERNET FOR DOCTRINAL ERRORS : EXTRA ECCLESIAM NULLA SALUS

There is a report on the Internet by Michael Mazza a former Director of Catechetics for the Diocese of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA . It is titled EXTRA ECCLESIAM NULLA SALUS: FATHER FEENEY MAKES A COMEBACK by Michael J. Mazza. It is based on an article on the EWTN website by the late Fr. William Most. Mazza suggests that his and the EWTN report is ‘magisterial evidence’.Many Catholics and non Catholics assume that it really is the teaching of the Magisterium.

Michael Mazza, Fr. Most and EWTN indicate that:

1. The Catholic Church has retracted the strict interpretation (‘stringent’ according to Mazza) of the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

2. The Catholic Magisterium has changed the original ‘stringent interpretation’ of extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

3. The Church teaches that those saved through invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire are known not only to God but are known also to us humans.

Mazza, Fr. Most and EWTN do not provide any Magisterium text to support these three hypothesis. However they ‘prove’ their assertion by not using the traditional defacto-de jure analysis of magisterial texts. Instead it is replaced with a defacto-defacto analysis which comes through as irrational and heretical; a rejection of the ex cathedra dogma Cantate Domino (1) , Council of Florence, on extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

And who would presume to mark out the limits of this ignorance according to the character and diversity of peoples, countries, minds and the rest?". –EWTN, Fr.William Most.

For Mazza, Fr. Most and EWTN it says: Everybody de facto needs to enter the Catholic Church for salvation and those who are in invincible ignorance are de facto known to us and so do not de facto have to enter the Church. So this is an exception to the ex cathedra Cantate Domino.

Pope Pius IX is saying de facto every one needs to enter the Church with no exceptions (Cantate Domino) and de jure there could be those saved in invincible ignorance etc and they would be known only to God.

Mazza, Fr. Most and EWTN interpret Pope Pius IX’s statement with a de facto-defacto analysis. This is contrary to the Principle of Non Contradiction. It’s also irrational. It’s also a rejection of Cantate Domino and so is a first class heresy.

This is the pattern used throughout the Mazza, Fr. Most, EWTN reports. Illogical logic.

So now we have two interpretations of extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

1. The EWTN, Jewish Left media  interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus and

2. the traditional, centuries old interpretation.

Mazza, Most and EWTN suggest that the Magisterial text supporting their Interpretation, N.1, is Lumen Gentium 16.

So we have two interpretations of extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS), outside the church there is no salvation. The key difference between the two is Lumen Gentium 16, Vatican Council II.

If Lumen Gentium 16 refers to explicit, knowable-to-us, cases of persons saved in invincible ignorance then it contradicts Cantate Domino. So we have the liberal, Jewish Left media, EWTN ,Mazza, Fr. Most interpretation saying just this.

If LG 16 refers to those saved in invincible ignorance etc and which is known only to God then it does not contradict Cantate Domino. We have the traditional, centuries old interpretation.

Those also can attain to salvation who through no fault of their own do not know the Gospel of Christ or His Church, yet sincerely seek God and moved by grace strive by their deeds to do His will as it is known to them through the dictates of conscience.-Lumen Gentium 16, Vatican Council II.
So which one is correct?

The issue is not really of theology. The answer is known also through  familiar common sense.

If a First Communicant explains it clearly to you that only God can finally know who is saved in invincible ignorance that should be the end of one interpretation of EENS.

It means there is no text in Vatican Council II which contradicts Cantate Domino.

There is no Magisterial text which contradicts Cantate Domino.

That’s the end of some 50 - plus years of propaganda on extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

With Vatican Council II (LG 16) out of the way, Mazza clutches  the last straw for ‘magisterial proof’ i.e the Catechism of the Catholic Church. He cites CCC 846.

CCC 846 refers to everyone being saved through Jesus and the Church. Everyone means those who have received the baptism of water with Catholic Faith and those saved in invincible ignorance , the baptism of desire etc. This is the first half of CCC 846.

The second half of CCC 846 quotes Vatican Council II and says ‘He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and Baptism, and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through Baptism as through a door.’ Mazza never mentions this. He omits the second half of CCC 846, It affirms the ‘stringent interprtation’ of extra ecclesiam nulla salus.Neither does he cite CCC 845 which does the same.

The first half of CCC 846 does not contradict the second part and so we have the Catechism affirming the rigorist interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

So Mazza, Most and EWTN have not been able to cite any Magisterial text (Vatican Council II, Catechism of the Catholic Church) to refute Cantate Domino. This means the Cantate Domino is still the teaching of the Magisterium which Pope Pius XII referred to in 1949 as ‘the dogma’, the infallible statement’. (Haec Suprema, Letter of the Holy Office to the Archbishop of Boston ).

It was affirmed in 2000 by Pope John Paul II.

Above all else, it must be firmly believed that “the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mk 16:16; Jn 3:5), and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through baptism as through a door”.77 This doctrine must not be set against the universal salvific will of God (cf. 1 Tim 2:4); “it is necessary to keep these two truths together, namely, the real possibility of salvation in Christ for all mankind and the necessity of the Church for this salvation”.-Dominus Iesus 20. (Emphasis added)
 CONCLUSION

1. They have no Magisterial evidence but use a new false analysis of Magisterial texts and pretend it’s the ‘church’s teaching’ since the secular media helps them promote it.

2. We do not know who in particular 'knows about the Church and yet does not enter 'or who is in genuine invincible ignorance. So why mention it ? Is it to intentionally confuse people? Neither do we know who is in partial communion with the Church, has perfect contrition or a conscience which Jesus will judge as 'good' on the Day of Judgement. The dogma says everyone needs to be a formal member of the Church and there are no exceptions. So it is false for Mazza, Fr. Most and EWTN to suggest these de jure cases, accepted in principle as a possibility, ‘in certain circumstances’ contradict the need for everyone to explictly, de facto enter the Catholic Church ; the rigorist interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

The Cantate Domino is still the official Magisterial teaching of the Catholic Church and it says everyone with no exception needs to be a formal member of the Church for salvation.

I would request the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith to please clarify this issue where false claims of 'magisterial evidence' are being made. The Mazza report is being used by the websites Catholic Culture and Catholicpage.com and other media.

NEXT SUNDAY WILL CATHOLIC HOMILIES MENTION THE SOCIAL KINGSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST OVER POLITICS AND NATIONAL LEGISLATION?

Homilies could be restricted to Jesus’ Kingdom not being of this earth and similar Zionist, leftist approved themes for the Catholic Church

Fr. Denis Fahey is hated by the Jewish Left groups. Why? Fr. Fahey explains the traditional teaching of the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ. Jesus must not just be a sentimental king of our hearts but the King, the centre point of all life, the centre of all politics and political systems. All political legislation.

Yet next Sunday from Rome to Sydney at Catholic Churches the homily is likely to  be upon Jesus’ Kingdom not being of this world and Jesus wants to be the king of out hearts.

The leftists, Zionists approve of this homily message and they do not consider it a political threat.

Over the last few weeks in Sydney, Australia there has been no religious or lay person who contradicted the ex cathedra dogma Cantate Domino. No one contradicted the rigorist interpretation of extra eccleisam nulla salus. When we accept this  dogma it is easier to understand the importance of Jesus needing to be the centre of all political systems. The heart of all political systems is not just God, (as opposed to the present system which places man at the centre) but Jesus, God, as known and taught in the Catholic Church.

Bl. Pope Pius IX, stated it as an error to divorce the Church from the State's laws and ends (with my emphasis as before):

For you well know, venerable brethren, that at this time men are found not a few who, applying to civil society the impious and absurd principle of "naturalism," as they call it, dare to teach that "the best constitution of public society and (also) civil progress altogether require that human society be conducted and governed without regard being had to religion any more than if it did not exist; or, at least, without any distinction being made between the true religion and false ones." And, against the doctrine of Scripture, of the Church, and of the Holy Fathers, they do not hesitate to assert that "that is the best condition of civil society, in which no duty is recognized, as attached to the civil power, of restraining by enacted penalties, offenders against the Catholic religion, except so far as public peace may require." From which totally false idea of social government they do not fear to foster that erroneous opinion, most fatal in its effects on the Catholic Church and the salvation of souls, called by Our Predecessor, Gregory XVI, an "insanity," viz., that "liberty of conscience and worship is each man's personal right, which ought to be legally proclaimed and asserted in every rightly constituted society; and that a right resides in the citizens to an absolute liberty, which should be restrained by no authority whether ecclesiastical or civil, whereby they may be able openly and publicly to manifest and declare any of their ideas whatever, either by word of mouth, by the press, or in any other way." But, while they rashly affirm this, they do not think and consider that they are preaching "liberty of perdition;" and that "if human arguments are always allowed free room for discussion, there will never be wanting men who will dare to resist truth, and to trust in the flowing speech of human wisdom; whereas we know, from the very teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ, how carefully Christian faith and wisdom should avoid this most injurious babbling."

-Pius IX, Quata Cura no. 3

It was in Christendom where the harmonious union of Church and State was achieved without one ruling the other. This is the type of order the Church has always supported, because it is oriented toward the same end, establishing the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ in society. Pope Pius XI declared concerning the Kingship of Christ in society:

Christ as our Redeemer purchased the Church at the price of his own blood; as priest he offered himself, and continues to offer himself as a victim for our sins. Is it not evident, then, that his kingly dignity partakes in a manner of both these offices?

It would be a grave error, on the other hand, to say that Christ has no authority whatever in civil affairs, since, by virtue of the absolute empire over all creatures committed to him by the Father, all things are in his power. Nevertheless, during his life on earth he refrained from the exercise of such authority, and although he himself disdained to possess or to care for earthly goods, he did not, nor does he today, interfere with those who possess them. Non eripit mortalia qui regna dat caelestia.

Thus the empire of our Redeemer embraces all men. To use the words of Our immortal predecessor, Pope Leo XIII: "His empire includes not only Catholic nations, not only baptized persons who, though of right belonging to the Church, have been led astray by error, or have been cut off from her by schism, but also all those who are outside the Christian faith; so that truly the whole of mankind is subject to the power of Jesus Christ."[Annum Sacrum] Nor is there any difference in this matter between the individual and the family or the State; for all men, whether collectively or individually, are under the dominion of Christ. In him is the salvation of the individual, in him is the salvation of society. "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given to men whereby we must be saved." He is the author of happiness and true prosperity for every man and for every nation. "For a nation is happy when its citizens are happy. What else is a nation but a number of men living in concord?" If, therefore, the rulers of nations wish to preserve their authority, to promote and increase the prosperity of their countries, they will not neglect the public duty of reverence and obedience to the rule of Christ.
