THEORETICALLY AND PRACTICALLY WE DON’T KNOW ANYONE SAVED IN INVINCIBLE IGNORANCE

Theoretically or practically we don't know any ‘good and holy’ non Catholic saved in 2012.

Theoretically or practically we don’t know any Protestant saved in ‘imperfect communion’ in the present times.

So Vatican Council II does not contradict the Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius IX nor Cantate Domino, Council of Florence 1441.Vatican Council II is a traditional Council similar to Trent with Catholic values similar to that of Bishop Richard Williamson.

Vatican Council II is not a modernist Council. It must not be implied that we can see the dead(saved); the visible- to- us deceased.Ghost spotters!

The Society of St.Pius X (SSPX) seems to understand. In their communique (July 19, 2012) it is stated:

‘...it seems opportune that we reaffirm our faith in the Roman Catholic Church, the unique Church founded by Our Lord Jesus Christ, outside of which there is no salvation nor possibility to find the means leading to salvation...’
This is the same doctrinal position as Fr.Leonard Feeney. Vatican Council II is in agreement with the priest from Boston. The Church did not ask him to recant his literal interpretation of the dogma, before the excommunication was lifted.

Since Bishop Richard Williamson does not affirm the dogma like Fr.Leonard Feeney he assumes in the conference videos that Vatican Council II is a modernist Council. He assumes there are deceased known who are exceptions to the dogma and to the Syllabus of Errors.

If the SSPX Chapter understands that Vatican Council II is a rational, traditional document they are miles ahead of Bishop Williamson.-Lionel Andrades

DID POPE BENEDICT SAY THE SYLLABUS OF ERROR IS NO MORE RELEVANT BECAUSE OF THE VISIBLE DEAD THEORY OF VATICAN COUNCIL II?

Bishop Richard Williamson mentions a conversation he had with Cardinal Ratzinger .The cardinal and bishop caved to the theory that we personally can see the dead in human form.

Cardinal Ratzinger thought that 'Vatican Council II was Anti Syllabus', it contradicted the Syllabus of Errors. He mentions this on the video SSPX Archbishop Lefebvre and Rome Part 9. (6:15)

Does Vatican Council II contradict the Syllabus of Errors condemned by Pope Pius IX ?

There is no text in Vatican Council  which contradicts the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus so there should be no text in the Council which will contradict the Syllabus of Errors .

A person can be saved in invincble ignorance etc  but it is  only known to God. We  know that there are no known possibilities as states the SSPX communique (July 19,2012). So there is no  contradiction. No one one can name anyone on earth now saved who was 'good and holy' (Nostra Aetate). The dead are not visible.

Where does Nostra Aetate say that  these cases are explicit exceptions to the dogma ?. People who do not want to accept the dogma assume that we know these persons saved in invincible ignorance etc.

In Quanto Conficiamur Moerore it is acknowledged that a non Catholic can be saved in invincible ignorance. It does not state that these cases are explicit. Mystici Corporis also acknowledges these cases but does not state that we know who they are, personally. It also does not state that they are exceptions to the dogma.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church n.846 says all who are saved are saved through Jesus and the Church. It does not state that we know these cases or that they are exceptions to the dogma. It definitely is not an exception to the dogma which says all need to convert into  the Church for salvation.

Here is the Syllabus:(1)

15. Every man is free to embrace and profess that religion which, guided by the light of reason, he shall consider true. -- Allocution "Maxima quidem," June 9, 1862; Damnatio "Multiplices inter," June 10, 1851.

Lionel:
Vatican Council II Ad Gentes 7 says all need to enter the Church with Catholic Faith and the baptism of water. LG 16 (invincible ignorance/good conscience) are not known to us and so are not exceptions to AG 7 and the dogma.

16. Man may, in the observance of any religion whatever, find the way of eternal salvation, and arrive at eternal salvation. -- Encyclical "Qui pluribus," Nov. 9, 1846.

Lionel:
Vatican Council II does not state that we know the dead saved. We can accept that ‘it follows that all men and women who are saved share, though differently, in the same mystery of salvation in Jesus Christ through his Spirit', however we cannot claim that we personally know any of these cases and neither does Vatican Council II make this claim. So in principle a non Catholic can be saved 'in certain circumstances ' (Letter of the Holy Office 1949) but defacto, explicitly, we do not know these cases and so they are not exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. Neither are they exceptions to this Syllabus teaching.

17. Good hope at least is to be entertained of the eternal salvation of all those who are not at all in the true Church of Christ. -- Encyclical "Quanto conficiamur," Aug. 10, 1863, etc.

Lionel:
Ad Gentes  7 is clear that all non Catholics need to enter the Church.

18. Protestantism is nothing more than another form of the same true Christian religion, in which form it is given to please God equally as in the Catholic Church. -- Encyclical "Noscitis," Dec. 8, 1849.

Lionel:
The Decree on Ecumenism does not state that we know those who are saved 'who are born into these communities' and neither do we know personally 'men who believe in Christ and have been truly baptized are in communion with the Catholic Church even though this communion is imperfect'. We do not know any one  ' justified by faith in baptism' and who are 'members of Christ's Body and have a right to be called Christian, and so are correctly accepted as brothers by the Children of the Catholic Church.'

Ad Gentes 7 says all need Catholic Faith for salvation. Protestants do not have Catholic Faith.
