6. When Church leaders and non Catholics refer to Vatican Council II loosely and do not make the rational/irrational distinction, they should be corrected.Only Vatican Council II ( rational) is acceptable. It is honest.

Notably, the encyclical addresses the subject of salvation outside of the church.^[2] Beginning by rebuking the belief that eternal salvation could be attained even while "living in error and alienated from the true faith and Catholic unity," Pius recognizes that there are "those who are struggling with invincible ignorance about our most holy religion(  invincible ignorane refers to invisible and hypothetical cases only it must be kept in mind. So there is no clash with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus ). Sincerely observing the natural law and its precepts inscribed by God on all hearts and ready to obey God, they live honest lives and are able to attain eternal life by the efficacious virtue of divine light and grace."^[1] The Pope then strongly reaffirms the teaching of extra Ecclesiam nulla salus and affirms that those who oppose the teaching of the church or are "stubbornly separated" from it cannot obtain eternal salvation.^[1] The encyclical gives praise for those clergy, consecrated virgins, and people of Italy who have remained faithful and ends on a hopeful note.

Catholic lay man in Rome. Writer on the discovery of the two interpretations of Vatican Council II, one is rational and the other is irrational, one is interpreted with the false premise and the other without it. One is Magisterial and the other, the common one, is non Magisterial.How can the Holy Spirit make an objective mistake ? So it is human error and not the Magisterium.

 Vatican Council II is dogmatic and not only pastoral.It is in harmony with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the Athanasius Creed.

It is the same for the Creeds and Catechisms. There can be two interpretations.Catholics must choose the rational option. This is an issue in philosophy.

Why should Catholics choose an irrational version which is heretical, nontraditional and schismatic, when a rational option is there which is traditional? This is a philosophical issue. A new theology is not being offered here. Instead with the Rational  Premise the New Theology is rejected and there is an automatic return to the Old Theology and Eccleisology of the Catholic Church.

It is unethical when the popes, cardinals and bishops choose the Irrational Premise to interpret Vatican Council II and other Magisterial Documents.

1.          I believe in one baptism for the forgiveness of sins, it is the baptism of water which is visible and repeatable.

2.        I believe in one baptism for the forgiveness of sins, it includes the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and invincible ignorance etc, which are  visible and known in particular cases and so are an exception for the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the Athanasius Creed, the Syllabus of Errors and other Magisterial Documents.

Lumen Gentium 8, Unitatis Redintigratio 3 etc in Vatican Council II are also considered exceptions and they exclude the baptism of water.

The following is Letter 906 of Paix Liturgique, published in French on December 21, 2022.

 

In this report, Rorate Caeili correspondents, and especially Peter Kwasniewski, do not mention that the central issue in Traditionis Custode is Vatican Council II i.e. the Council, in LG 8,14,16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc, do not refer to objective people, known non Catholics in 1965-2022.They do not refer to non Catholics saved, outside the Catholic Church, without faith and the baptism of water. This is a given.if there were such cases they would be in Heaven. we could not know them. But this is not acknowledged by Kwasniewski, Wolfe and F.G.

For the Rorate Caeili correspondents and Pope Francis, LG 8, 14, 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc, are objective exceptions for traditional extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the Athanasius Creed, the Syllabus of Errors ( ecumenism of return and religious liberty), the Catechism of Pope Pius X ( other religions not being paths to salvation-24Q,27Q), the ecclesiology of the Roman Misal ( 1870) and Tradition in general.

This is the Vatican Council II of Traditionis Custode that Rorate wants all to accept, as do the FSSP and the English and American liberal cardinals and bishops.

The main issue in Traditionis Custode is Vatican Council II, since if the Council is interpreted rationally, there is no break with Tradition. So VC 2 rational is not accepted by Pope Francis and the Left. The CDF wants the break with Tradition.

Kwasniewski like the French cardinals and bishops still interprets Lumen Gentium 16 (being saved in invincible ignorance) in 2022-2023 as referring to physically visible and known non Catholics saved outside the Church.Otherwise how could there be exceptions for Feeneyite EENS? This is the official liberal narrative of the Vatican and the Left.They do not want to affirm Feeneyite EENS.

In this sense Rorate Caeili is not really traditional. Traditionalists must accept the Syllabus of Errors without projecting Vatican Council II as a break with Tradition.

Kwasniewski, Rorate and Mattei are not liberal heretics like Cardinal Roche, Grillo and the faculty at the University of St. Anselm, Rome (who reject the theology of St. Benedict), but they are conservative modernists who interpret the Council irrationally like the St. Anselm group and Pope Francis.-Lionel Andrades

On the hierarchy of values of Pope John Paul II, we are dealing with first class heresy.
Since in reality the Nicene Creed has been changed.Before the Council of Trent the Nicene Creed did not mean 'I believe in three or more known baptisms for the forgiveness of sins and they exclude the baptism of water. They are the baptism of desire ( without the baptism of water), being saved in invincible ignorance ( without the baptism of water etc'.
We are theologically rejecting John 3:5 and Mark 16:15 by suggesting not everyone in the present times needs to be a formal member of the Church with faith and the baptism of water.

Theologically we are rejecting the Great Commission by suggesting that there is known salvation outside the Church.
This issue is central to the divide in the Catholic Church over Vatican Council II.It is at the centre of the SSPX-Vatican reconcliation.
It will be wrongly used by Cardinal Walter Kasper to suggest that doctrine and dogma has changed in the Catholic Church ( with the use of an irrational inference which he will not mention) and so the Church can change its other teachings e.g giving the Eucharist to the divorced and remarried.
Ths issue is at the centre of mission and evangelisation based on the knowledge of the majority of people going to Hell because of Original Sin and mortal sins committed in that state.
This issue decides if the Traditional Latin Mass( and the Novus Ordo Mass) is offered with the old ecclesiology or the new ecclesiology.The present new theology of the TLM is based upon an irrationality.
This issue decides if Vatican Council II is not an exception to the dogma EENS and so there is no change presently in post Vatican Council II ecumenism and inter religious dialogue based upon the text of Vatican Council II which can be interpreted with Feeneyism, instead of the present Cushingism.
