Vatican Council II is traditionalist, exclusivist and not conservative
when it is interpreted rationally with the Rational Premise. So Vatican Council
II cannot be used any more to justify a break with traditional teachings on
homosexuality,abortion, adultery, fornication, no salvation outside the Church,polygamy etc. So the cardinals must oppose the appointment of Bishop Heiner Wilmer scj, as the
Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Vatican. He must affirm the Catholic faith in public. He could answer the points mentioned in these blog posts.
Both Cardinal Marx and Sister
Nathalie Bequart have said that the Synods are based upon the new ecclesiology
of Vatican Council II. They refer to the Council interpreted irrationally. So
the cardinal must also correct this statement. The cardinals musts also inform
Pope Francis that the Abu Dhabi Declaration can no more be justified in the
name of Vatican Council II. The Council has to be only interpreted rationally.
This is the only moral choice. They must also ask Al Azhar University to
interpret Vatican Council II rationally only. This is the moral thing to do.
A bishop in public mortal sin is a
scandal.He must acknowledge his sins in public and go for Confession.
The Council interpreted rationally
supports the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the Athanasius Creed and the
Syllabus of Errors which the German bishop does not approve.
According to Vatican Council, the
other Abrahimic religions are not paths to salvation. Ad Gentes 7 says all need
Catholic faith and the baptism of water for salvation. All.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church
says outside the Church there is no salvation (846), God the Father wants all
to be united in the Catholic Church (845) and the Catholic Church is like the
Ark of Noah that saves in the flood (CCC 845). Cardinal Ratzinger in the CDF
Notification against the Jesuit priest Jacques Dupuis said other religions are
not paths to salvation and their members are oriented to the Catholic Church.
These are de fide teachings of the
Church.these are values which are not held by Bishop Hilmer. Canonically it is important
for a bishop and priest to have the Catholic faith. This means interpreting the
Nicene Creed rationally and traditionally and accepting the Athanasius Creed
etc. He does not do this.
Here is the rational approach to
Vatican Council II.
LG 8, 14, 16, NA 2, GS 22 refer to
only speculative cases. They exist only in our mind. They are not known people
in the present times, saved outside the Church. So they are not practical
exceptions for the dogma EENS. They do not contradict the past exclusivist
ecclesiology of the Church.
So Mystici Corporis, Quanta Cura,
Quanto Conficemur Moerore, Redemptoris Missio, Dominus Iesus and other Church
Documents, which mention the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and invincible
ignorance, do not contradict Ad Gentes 7 (all need faith and baptism for
salvation).BOD, BOB and I.I do not contradict the Athanasius Creed (all need Catholic faith
for salvation).They do not contradict the Syllabus of Errors (ecumenism of return/no salvation
outside the Church).
It may be mentioned that Fr. Luiz
Ladaria sj and Fr. Charles Morerod op, as officials of the International
Theological Commission, made an error in two theological papers. They projected
the BOD, BOB and I.I as being practical exceptions for traditional extra
ecclesiam nulla salus. They made a mistake and must acknowledge it.

Bishop Heiner Wilmer scj, bishop of Hildeshieim, Germany is not eligible to be the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Vatican until he affirms Vatican Council II in public. Catholics now know that they can interpret the Council rationally. So they are not obliged to interpret the Council like Pope Francis and the German bishops.

So why should we accept the new German Prefect of the CDF? He is in public heresy. Vatican Council II is not a break with Tradition. He needs to end the scandal before offering Holy Mass in the vernacular. There is an impediment.
