ADL book on Pope John Paul II does not mention Dominus Iesus and documents which indicate Jews need to convert into the Catholic Church

The ADL has published a book The Saint for Shalom-How Pope John Paul Transformed Catholic Jewish Relations. By Catholic Jewish Relations it is meant Catholic–Jewish Left relations. Since the Jewish Left rabbis and the ADL would not allow orthodox Jewish Rabbis to meet the pope.

There was a reported threat of war between Israel against th Vatican it was reported in the daily newspapers in Italy, over the Revised Good Friday Prayer for the Conversion of the Jews. So the same intimidation could have been used to bring Pope John Paul to the Wailing Wall and to apologize to the Jews. The photo is prominent on the book cover.

It was this humility which also made Pope Benedict XVI be present among a contingent of members from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, at the Assisi Interfaith meeting. The pope has also paid tributes to the book by ADL and expressed kind sentiments.

The book I am sure, even though I have not read it, misses out on Pope John Paul II’s great contribution to Catholic-Jewish relations ( and not just Jewish Left ) with the publication of Dominus Iesus, which says all need to enter the Church for salvation and that other religions have errors, deficiencies and superstition.

Then Pope John Paul gave us Ecclesia di Eucharestia which showed us that the ecclesiology of the Catholic Church is still outside the church there is no salvation. Jews cannot receive the Eucharist unless they first have received the Sacraments which save, in the Catholic Church.

A valuable understanding to our relations with other religions is the Catechism of the Catholic Church of Pope John Paul II. The Catechism (CCC 846) says all need Catholic Faith and the baptism of water for salvation and that all need to enter the Church 'as through a door'.

This is just a sample of what is missing in the The Saint for Shalom and how Pope John Paul II did not change the Catholic Church’s teaching with respect to the Jews.

Jewish Left groups have been praising the exceptionally good relations between the Catholic Church and the Jewish Left over the last 43 years and the creation of the state of Israel.

Tomorrow due to unduly 'good relations' Catholics at the Good Friday service will not be able to prayer in public for the Conversion of the Jews. They are also expected to accept the Jewish understanding of history  and deny Jesus is the only Saviour of the World and Jews need to convert into the Church Jesus founded for salvation. The ADL and the Jewish Left have created anti-Semitism ,proselytism and other hate laws directed at Christians.
